Comparison of Routh-Hurwitz and Absolute Stability Criteria in Application to Scaled Telerobotics Systems (스케일 텔레 로보틱스 시스템에 적용된 Routh-Hurwitz와 절대 안정도 기준의 비교)

  • This paper presents a comparative study on application of Routh-Hurwitz and Llewellyn absolute stability criteria to a scaled telerobotic system. The dynamic equations of the telerobotic system are given, and the transfer function of the system is obtained for further stability analysis. The stable margins of controller gains are obtained using both stability analysis methods, and the differences in the results are described and explained. The paper is concluded by a numerical example verifying performed stability analysis.

  • In this paper, an omni wheel-based electric wheelchair is proposed that can achieve safe and convenient movement and can improve the convenience of living for mobility-impaired people who cannot move on their own. Generally, mobility-impaired people are afflicted with physical health issues such as pain and secondary body deformities because they often remain seated in wheelchairs for long periods of time. Hence, an electric wheelchair is required whose posture can be changed and whose size can be adjusted according to the user's body type. Such a wheelchair should also facilitate easy change of direction (even in a narrow space) for convenient movement. In this paper, an electric wheelchair featuring omni wheels is proposed that allows posture transformation and facilitates movement in a narrow space. It is believed that the proposed wheelchair can aid in enhancing the convenience of living for mobility-impaired people.

  • 본 연구는 포토트랜지스터를 중심으로 로보틱스를 활용하여 데이터를 보다 면밀하게 측정 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 구축함과 동시에 학생들로 하여금 프로그래밍의 기초를 이해할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 빛의 양을 측정하여 명령을 수행할 수 있는 로보틱스를 개발하여 측정한 정량화 된 데이터가 가지게 되는 규칙을 학생들이 발견할 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보게 될 것이다. 본 연구의 수행을 위해 basic stamp 2 칩과 포토트랜지스터 센서를 활용하고, PBASIC으로 프로그래밍을 수행할 것이며 이러한 것들로 이루어진 로봇을 활용한 코스웨어를 개발하여 학생들이 변경 가능한 Open Contents system을 고안하여 프로그래밍 교육이 가능하도록 하였다
