Authentication for inter-NEMO rooming is on important issue for achieving the seamless mobile networking. In this proposal, the technical challenge lies in the fact that a visited network does not initially have the authentication credentials of a roaming mobile router. This paper proposes an efficient approach for providing AAA service in NEMO environment. This approach uses localized authentication based on the roaming agreement between ISPs. A public key certificate structure is proposed, tailored to the business model of wireless internet Service Providers (ISPs). In this approach, the mutual authentication between a visited network and a roaming user can be performed locally without any control with user's home network. In conclusion, our protocol shown that communication delay can be reduced by overuse 45% overhead in communication delay than the previous AAA approach.

공중무선랜은 오늘날 빠르게 증가하고 있는 무선인터넷 서비스에서 빠른 전송속도와 저렴한 설치비용 등으로 빠르게 성장하고 있는 중요한 기반요소로 평가되고 있다. 하지만 무선랜 시장에 대한 기대 뒤에는 보안에 대한 우려 또한 높아지고 있으며 로밍이나 핸드오버에 대한 수요가 커지고 있으나 실제로는 서비스 반경이 작고, 간섭에 의해 서비스 품질을 보장하기 어려우며 사용자 인증, 접근제어, 과금 부분에 있어 믿을 만한 초기 단말 인증이 보장되지 않아 도메인간 연동 문제가 쉽지 않다. 이러한 문제를 보완하여 초고속 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 Mobile IP 기반 로밍 및 핸드오버에 대한 기반 기술 및 Mobile IP에 적용되는 사용자 인증 서비스에 대한 기반기술인 802.1x를 비롯하여 802.11f, Mobile IP등을 고려하여 이동성이 보장된 공중 무선랜 서비스를 위한 인증 방안을 제안하고 검증하며 제안된 방안은 차후로 ALL-IP 기반의 차세대 3G 이동통신망에서 이용될 수 있는 AAA 방안으로 확장하여 적용이 가능한 AAA 모델의 기반기술이 될 것이다.

We describe CHAP authentication for roaming service method of visited ISP subscriber on GPRS network. We also illustrate how visited mobile ISP subscriber can access ISP server and authenticate RADIUS in home network via Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) on GPRS/UMTS network for wireless internet service and roaming. For this we propose the modified CHAP message format, PCO Message format at MT, and interworking message and format between GGSN and RADIUS in home ISP network for wireless internet service of mobile ISP subscriber at GPRS network in this paper. We also show authentication results when visited mobile ISP subscriber via CHAP at GPRS network accesses the RADIUS server in home ISP network.

UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunication System)는 시간, 위치 및 단말기의 종류와 독립적으로 모든 사용자에게 동일한 서비스를 공급하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해서는 현재 사용자가 사용하고 있는 단말기의 종류나 사용자 위치에 독립적인 연결 설정과, 서비스 로밍(service roaming)의 기술이 필요하다. UMTS를 포함한 차세대 통신망에서 가장 중요한 개념은 서비스 로밍을 가능하게 해주는 VHE이다. VHE는 사용자에게 시간과 공간에 독립적인 일관적인 서비스를 제공하는 것이지만, 아직까지는 서로 다른 망을 연동 하는데 있어서 많은 문제점이 해결되지 않은 상황이다. 기존의 전화망과 인터넷망을 통합시켜주는 JAIN 기반 위에, Mobile Agent Technology(MAT)를 이용해서 기존환경의 문제점을 극복하고, 새로운 형태의 서비스를 창출할 수가 있다. 이 논문에서는 MAT를 기반으로 하여 이동 환경을 고려한 효율적인 정보검색 시나리오를 설계하고 그 시나리오를 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 IMT-2000과 PCS를 연계 서비스하기 위해, 망 구성과 신호 프로토콜을 기반으로 로밍을 위한 연동 프로토콜을 설계 및 구현하였다. 먼저 미래의 주요 서비스로 예상되는 인터넷 서비스를 지원하기 위한 패킷 데이터 서비스에 대하여 기본호 설정 절차와 해제 절차를 설계하였으며 설계한 연동 프로토콜의 동작성을 확인하기 위하설 프레디키트/액션 패트리네트를 사용하여 모델링하고 도달성 트리를 도출하여 설계한 프로토콜이 올바르게 수행됨을 확인하였다. 이렇게 검증된 프로토콜을 두 대의 워크스테이션에서 UNIX 소켓을 이용하여 구현하고, 프로토콜의 적합성 시험에서 가장 많이 사용되는 국부 시험 방법으로 테스트하여 구현된 연동 프로토콜이 정상적으로 수행됨을 확인하였다.

현재 무선랜은 AP(Acess Point)간 이동시 2계층 로밍을 이용하여 이동성을 제공한다. 그러나 무선랜의 AP간 로밍은 같은 서브넷 내에서는 동일한 IP로 MAC Layer의 접속만을 변경하여 이동성을 제공할 수 있지만, 다른 서브넷으로 이동할 경우에는 DHCP를 이용하여 IP를 새로 할당 받아야 한다. 최근 Hotspot 등 무선랜이 활성화 되어감에 따라 서브넷간 이동시에도 IP 이동성 제공을 위해서는 무선랜에 Mobile IP 도입이 필요하다. 또한 무선 인터넷 사용자의 급증으로 차세대 인터넷 프로토콜로 주목받고 있는 IPv6를 이용하여 이동성을 제공하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 기반의 VoIP 단말기에 FMIPv6를 적용하여 VoIP의 서브넷 간이동성을 제공하기 위하여 핵심프로토콜인 FMIPv6 프로토콜과 SIP 프로토콜을 설계하였다.

In this Paper, we present a novel authentication and key exchange(AKE) protocol for inter-NSP(provider) roaming in IEEE 802.16e networks. The proposed protocol allows performing both user and device authentication jointly by using two different authentication credentials and Provides user anonymity and session key establishment. Also, this protocol requires only two round number message exchange between foreign network and home network.

In tile wireless communication networks although the modulation and demodulation structure with proposed BOWLIS algorithm is a little confusing but we certified that it is fit structure in fast operation processing and high speed wireless LAM system that is more strong on frequence and electro magnetic interference because it process the inputted data within 2.8Us that is faster 0.4Us than 3.2Us in standard form. Also we certified that in the sigtlt of consuming power it is better than pipe-lined structure because of reducing the processing step to 4.

무선랜에 대한 사용과 응용이 늘어나면서 등장한 요구사항들을 충족시키기 위하여 IEEE 802.11에 새로운 규격들이 계속하여 추가되고 있다. 그중 802.11i와 802.11f는 각각 무선랜 보안 강화와 액세스포인트 사이의 정보 교환을 목적으로 제정되었다. 802.11i에 의한 보안기능 강화로 인하여 스테이션의 로밍 과정에서의 지연 시간이 길어지게 되었고 이를 해결하기 위한 선인증 방식이 사용될 수 있다. 그러나 802.11i선인증 방식에서는 스테이션이 로밍하여 갈 액세스포인트를 미리 예상하고 인증을 받아야 한다는 단점이 있다 본 논문에서는 IAPP 프로토콜을 사용하여 액세스포인트 사이에 인증 정보를 교환함으로써 스테이션이 관여하지 않고 선인증을 수행하는 방법을 제안하고, 802.11i 선인증 방식에 대한 장단점을 비교한다.
