크리스찬 디올 패션의 감성 이미지 연구 (A Study on the Sensibility Image of Christian Dior Fashion)

  • Christian Dior has been standing to a good position in fashion and make-up for a long time, and it has been growing up continuously. The purpose of this study was to find out data that a point of view on sensibility. So first, this study analyzed image components of Christian Dior fashion, then this study examined aesthetic characters of Christian Dior fashion. For researching the image of Dior based on an historical consideration of Dior, subjects were fixed in this study. 1) Analyzing image components of Dior fashion 2) Examining image characters of Dior fashion 3) Researching consumers understand how to image of Dior fashion. The study was theoretical and established method; using more than a graduate student-major in clothing and make up, survey$(2004.5\sim6.)$ and SPSS 10 program statistics method. As the results, in Dior fashion, this study analyzed the factors of shape, color, material and texture, and that indicated character of chic, classic, gorgeous and romantic image on the foundation of elegant beauty. As consumers understood that as a same image. By analyzing the image as an emotional side, it could be fundamental data of emotional marketing for Asian.

19세기 Corset pattern 연구 (A Study on Corset Patterns of the 19th Century)

  • The fashion of the 19C had been through many diverse styles, i.e. Empire style, Romantic style, Crinoline style and the Bustle style. These styles had emphasized a certain figures, such as exaggerated hourglass silhouette of crinoline style or S silhouette of bustle style. Following the trends, corsets became more than underwears. Actually they supported the fashion of the 19C. Apparently, the corsets had been evolved in many aspects. Patterns, materials and trimmings were developed and refined to make torso figures desirable. The initial purpose of the research is to find out how they developed corset patterns to make such a diverse figures, so that the techniques can be adopted in contemporary pattern design. The 16 corsets and their patterns were quoted from books related the subject. The patterns were redrawn of same scale for the comparative study concerning cutting lines and measurements. Coming to the late, more curved lines and more segmented cutting were used to make body more of glamour and natural. Gussets were another key technique to make them work. Various sized and shaped gussets were used to follow the trends of ever changing.

의복의 조형요소에 따른 캐주얼이미지 분류 (Casual Image Classification by Clothing Design Elements)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the casual image by clothing design elements. This research was done by survey method with 30 kinds of casual image photos selected in fashion magazines. The data was analyzed by Reliability Analysis, Factor Analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's test and MDS. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Casual image was classified by 6 factors. Those were classic-casual, modern-casual, romantic-casual, vintage-casual, sexy-casual and active-casual images. 2. Classic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and hard texture. Modern-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, fit and achromatic and achromatic color coordinations. Romantic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit and soft texture. Vintage-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, combination apparel-fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and fade-out texture. Sexy-casual image was well-expressed by fitted silhouette, tight apparel-fit and combination texture. 3. Casual image was positioned into mostly dynamic and modern on image scale.

국내 시판 튀튀(TUTU)의 구성 실태조사 (A Research on the Construction of TUTU on the Korean Market)

  • The first objective of this study is to investigate and analyze the construction of TUTU and secondly, to propose a systematic research background on a sewing method of TUTU. The final objective is to provide the exquisiteness and the comfort for customer when wearing a stage costume. The research method to investigate the TUTU construction in detail is by renting or buying three major TUTU brands, which are selling in Korea. The results of this study can be summarized into four categories. Firstly, the Bustier composes into 8 to10 patches, and the external material or accessory differs by the work of art and its characteristics. Moreover, the cotton is used for the inner material. which depends on dancer's vital activities. Secondly, a skirt layer ranges from 6 to 12 layers with laces. In addition, the gather or the pleats is used to form a crease. Thirdly, lace or cotton is the material used for culottes because it is stretchy and lightweight. For the waist part. a rubber band is used since its wearability plus functionality. Lastly, an adjusting part for a stage costume varied for each dressers physical feature and can be corrected with inner hems together a hook, a thread loop or a zip. In conclusion, the results of this study can provide the quality improvement for TUTU and furthermore can propose a framework for an understanding and a practical use of TUTU construction.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the fashion style in the drama 'sex and the city's character. Frist of all, mixing and matching style is one of Carrie's signiture styles, namely her ability to combine haute couture fashion with high street bargains and vintage buys to make ingenious ensambles. There are two main ways to go with this seperates look, the equal look, when tops are put with equally fabulous bottoms, and the unequal look, when fabulous tops go with less fabulous bottoms. Second, nowadays vintage style is one of fashion trend. The 'Sex and the city' has define trends when it comes to jewellery, it is the 'Carrie' nameplate and the Hermes's horseshoe necklaces, especially pearls were a big hit for vintage style. Also it takes a floral pattern and various hat makes a vintage style. Third, Sexual style shows a halter and sleeveless dress with long earing and splendid necklaces. And it takes a leopard pattern. Fourth, romantic style, one of the 'Sex and the city"s character's favourite garments is the dress. Its makes romantic moods a delicate with handbags, Manolo Blahnik's and Jimmy Choo's high hill shoes and corsages. The romantic pattern is floral and material is chiffon.ffon.

  • With the most popular and beloved Verdi's "La Traviata" as the subject in the year 2001, which is the 100th anniversary of his death, the present study discusses the arias by the main character "Violetta" and the characteristics, images, clothes and their symbolism expressed through and stage costumes of major performances shown in Korea and abroad. Furthermore, the purposes of the present study are to propose a new fashion brand image called "Violetta look" by incorporating this image into current fashion to join fashion and stage, and to actually design and producing these clothes. Therefore, stage costumes of characters shown in the limited space called stage were connected with the study of characters' images and applied into the current fashion as a brand image, and from the industrial aspect, a high value added fashion brand image was created.

현대패션의 로맨틱 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Romantic Image in Modern Fashion)

  • The modern society which is going through the big turbulence of civilization experiences the lost of humanity and the phenomenon that the standard of our thoughts, like those for good and evil, truth and false is not clear anymore as the technology is being improved. This makes us miss the past when everything is simple and the standards are very clear and being attracted by the metaphorical culture symbolizing something from the past, like memories of youth, fantasies, fairy tales or myths and we are now having a great interest in the joy of life and the affluent life. Influenced by this kind of tendency in modern society, the minimalism, which had the great influence in the nineties, went out of fashion and at last the romantic susceptibility seems to be the trend forming the major mood of the late 20th century - the early 21st century. This study focus is: (1) the theoretical aspects of romantic images such as the concept, the historical tendency and the character are considered. (2) the variety and multiplicity of the romantic images is discussed after the romantic image is classified into four types of retro character, natural character, ethnic character, erotic character according to major trends in our modern. The purpose of this study is to understand the romantic images in modern fashion, by analyzing the fashion trends together with the various features of romantic images.

남.녀 파운데이션 이미지 연구 (A Study on the Image of Adult Foundations)

  • This study carefully explored today's preferable beauty images, analyzed Korean adult purchasing trends of functional underwear and market analysis of the most popular items and their designs. Information and methods are based largely on reference book material as well as analysis of real domestic data. The paper's research timeline simply spans the last three years, as in accordance with project parameters. Helping improve body shape, foundation literally means 'substructur' and 'base'. The formativeness in these adult foundations typically has three main category classifications. First, natural modern image. This is where we find natural beauty including that which embodies a cool modern sense. Here, you can often see such patterns as either stripes and dots, or simply no patterns at all. Colors are green, red-brown, incarnadine, or khaki from a natural or basic human body color. Its products are marketed as both solid and durable eco-friendly materials, and lace-seethrough. Fashion's natural modern image is undoubtedly the most popular style purchase choice among both genders. Second, sweet romantic image. This mainly consists of two concepts : a sweet and romantic theme, and visual appeal. Patterns include flowers, lips, heart, stars, candies and various other appealing characters. Its main colors are pink, yellow, red, purple, and violet. Products are decorated with laces, frills and ribbons. Since only men's semi-girdles carry such designs, this fashion foundation is largely a women's world. While men show an obvious interest in foundation, they still mostly prefer the choice of natural modern images. Third, mystic sexy image. This is defined as all feminine images of mysterious and classic sexual beauty. Patterns are variously expressed as paisley, flowers, and geometric. Colors are largely purple, blue-green, royal-blue, cobalt, and black. Products are commonly decorated with beading, spangles, hot-fixes and so on. While this image can be found in all kinds of women's foundations, it typically appears only in men's corsets and girdles.

하이패션에 나타난 남성셔츠 디자인 이미지 연구 (A Study on the Design Image of Men's Shirts Expressed in High Fashion)

  • This study aims to analyze the expressive aspect of men's shirts through examining the characteristics of men's shirts with the trend of men's clothing well represented and considering the image based on high fashion. As a method of study, I have conducted the theoretical study through the literature data, and the content analysis through photographs from S/S collection in 2005 to F/W collection in 2010. Especially, in the recent men's shirts, the materials of glossy silk, wavering chiffon and jersey tend to appear and various images are represented with the tasteful decoration such as ruffle, pin tuck and embroidery together with pastel color. Thus, the result of this study is as follows: Firstly, the masculine and romantic images are researched as the image emphasizing the beautiful and soft masculine beauty which doesn't lose the masculinity even though they are seasonedwith the feminine elements. Soft masculine beauty is emphasized by using romantic image decoration of frills, beads and pin tuck or silk, jersey and openwork materials etc. Secondly, practical fusion images have been studied as the images emphasizing the freshness with practicality through grafting more than two items onto one shirt. Many designs have appeared representing new shapes by grafting more than two items onto one shirt or obscuring the border line between the items. Thirdly, the avant-garde chic images have been researched as the image emphasizing the chick image through representing unique and odd designs by excessively expressing the silhouette in general shapes of shirts. I come. to find that the mainly the designs, emphasizing the uniqueness and the distinction with transformed shapes of sleeves, cuffs and the length of shirts in exaggerated manners, are appearing. Thus, I intend to provide a reference material which will be useful for the newly created design and researches of figurative characteristics in the future fashion.

영화 대사의 정량적 분석을 통한 등장인물의 감정과 서사간의 상관성 연구 (Analysis of the Correlation between Narrative and Emotions Displayed by Movie Characters through a Quantitative Analysis of Dialogues in a Movie)

  • 영화의 언어적 요소인 대사(dialogue)는 영화의 서사 전개에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 하지만 스토리를 이미지로 표현하는 영화의 매체적 특성상 영화 분석의 초점은 주로 영상에 맞추어져 있었고, 대사는 평가절하되거나 그 중요성에 비해 연구가 미흡한 것이 사실이다. 본 연구는 그동안 영화 연구에서 부차적이고 주변적인 위치에 머물러 있던 대사가 서사의 진행에서 어떤 기능을 하는지 살펴보고, 대사가 영화에서 갖는 의미를 조명한다. 이를 위해 영화 속 등장인물들의 발화를 통해 표출된 감정 표현(emotion expressions)들을 대사로부터 수작업으로 선별하여 긍정과 부정으로 극성 분류를 한 후, 감정 표현들의 비율이 어떻게 서사와 연관성을 갖는지를 정량적으로 분석하였다.
