A Study on Determinants of Expenditure in Leisure Culture Consumption Market (레저문화 소비시장의 지출결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the expenditure determinants of the leisure goods consumption market. In order to achieve the research purpose, 6597 samples of household trend survey data were used. Tobit model was applied to estimate expenditure determinants. As a result of analysis, expenditure determinants for sporting goods were influenced by marital status, education level, age, number of households, housing ownership and income level. The variables influencing spending on leisure items such as mountain climbing, fishing and hunting items were influenced by gender, marital status, education level, age, number of households, housing ownership and income level. The analysis results can be used as policy data for the establishment of leisure culture. The National Statistical Office's household trend survey is a yearly survey through a nationwide survey, but despite the fact that it is reliable data, it is not possible to apply various variables such as psychological characteristics to estimate consumer expenditure determinants more concretely.   • With the recent rapid growth in the number of people who enjoy marine and leisure activities in Korea, the marine leisure industry faces good opportunities for development. Korean brands are in between them. In this situation, new and innovative products related to an inflatable tube, which is one of the most popular marine leisure items, will help to increase sales of domestic companies and to pioneer a new market. Research methods are largely divided into 4: investigation, analysis & synthesis, development and evaluation. This paper introduces a "tube cushion" which is an inflatable tube covered by fabrics. It can be functioned at home 365 days a year as a cushion or a children's plaything. Tactile fabrics, neoprene and air-mesh, are used as the cover with a zipper, making it easy to open and close. Moreover, by putting together tubes and connecting them with snap fastener attached straps, the cushion can be transformed into a chair, a table, a tunnel, a train, and so on, serving as a creative plaything for children. With this paper, it is expected that new and innovative items differentiated from others, like this crossover tube cushion, will help to create a 'Blue Ocean' market for the marine leisure industry from the long-term perspective.

  • One of the words that describe unique features of human beings is "Homo Ludens (Playing Man)". As humans enjoy abundant and prosperous lives and the quality of life is further improved, play is increasingly becoming a central value of human life. As part of play, ocean leisure is getting popular these days, and in turn demands for ocean leisure-related products in Korea, most of which are dependent on foreign markets, are growing. Therefore, it is required that local companies are quick to turn their eyes on the fast developing market. This research aims to help develop a design concept for bodyboard, more suitable for the domestic market, by analyzing products and reflecting customers' needs. The findings of this study are as follows: first, it is desirable that the target of bodyboard in domestic market is young people aged between 14 and 29 and its price ranges from 40,000 to 100,000 won; second, a tube-type bodyboard is appropriate for beaches in Korea mostly with small and gentle waves, as also shown in a survey that over 65% of those surveyed prefer a tube-type bodyboard, and lastly, the CMFF (Color, Material, Form, and Function) strategy was newly developed in this study in order to create new concept bodyboards.

  • The change from people's work-centered values to their leisure-centered values leads into the change in their life styles. In the circumstance, people's participation into sports activities seems to be an important means to improve their quality of life. Along with the change of the times, more people take part in water leisure sports including kayak. As a result, people's needs for various designs of water leisure goods are on the rise. In this sense, it is necessary to come up with strategies to actively respond to such a change. In this paper, we proposed a user decision-making support system for designing kayaks for leisure. Based on the previous studies and literatures and a questionnaire survey with consumers, it chose the sensitivity related to design. By conducting factor analysis and evaluation, it drew sensitivity and proposed kayak design layouts in the aspect of customer sensitivity preference. It is expected that the result of this study will be used not only for kayak design, but as a design guide for the equipment of water leisure sports, and will be applied for user-friendly design.

  • 모바일 쇼핑 이용자가 1000만 명을 넘어서면서 모바일 쇼핑은 점차 오픈 마켓을 비롯해 백화점, 대형마트, 슈퍼마켓, 인터넷몰과 마찬가지로 새롭고 편한 구매수단으로 부상하고 있다. 모바일 쇼핑 이용자가 늘어나면서 2011년에는 스키 수영 등 레저용품에서 2012년에는 기저귀, 분유 유아식 등에 이어 여성의류가 많이 팔린 것으로 집계됐다. 여자대학생 235명의 설문조사 결과, 모바일 쇼핑 월 1~5회가 60.3%, 최근 84.4%가 월 10만원 이하 구매, 월 용돈은 30만원 이하 72.4%, 인기상품은 의류(72.4%), 가공식품(11.9%), 화장품(8.8%)순 이었다. 애플 앱스토어와 구글 플레이스토어에서 원화로 결재할 수 있는 제도적인 문제 해결과 쉬운 결재 안전한 결재를 할 수 있도록 개선되어야 한다.

  • 인간은 도구를 만드는 동물인 동시에 이동을 하면서 사회적 생활을 영위하는 동물이다. 인류는 초기, 도보중심으로 이동이 이루어졌기 때문에 그 생활활동 범위도 좁았었다. 그러나 인류는 여러가지 이동의 도구를 만들어 생활권을 확대시켜 나갔다. 그중 보다 빠르고, 보다 멀리, 대량의 사람이나 화물 을 이동시키기 위해 바퀴를 발명하게 되었다. 그래서 수레가 출현하게 되었고 그 후 발전을 거듭하여 오늘날의 자전거가 만들어지게 되었다. 최근에는 과학기술의 급속한 발전과 생산기술의 고도화로 산업의 발전은 물론, 경제성장도 급속히 향상되고 국민의 소득증대도 향상되었다. 이에 따라 여가시간의 활용빈 도도 많아지고 건강증진을 위한 레저나 스포츠용품에 대한 관심과 수요가 급증하게 되었다. 그중 자전거는 레저 스포츠로서 즐길 뿐만 아니라, 건강증진으로서 비만증, 성인병의 예방, 지구력, 폐활량 증대 및 인내심 을 길러준다. 또한 현재 대도시가 안고 있는 교통체증 문제, 환경오염, 에너지절약 측면에서도 자전거는 많은 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 이러한 시대의 상황 속에서 자전거 선호도도 Casual style에서 Seports style로의 변화를 가져오고 더욱 더 고급화, 개성화, 다양화의 모델이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 새로운 고객층을 위한 풍요로움과 건전한 건강생활문화를 창출하고 새로운 고부가가치 상품의 연구로 제품의 경쟁력 을 높여 수출을 증대시킬 수 있는 데 목적을 두었다.

  • 2020년 우리나라의 바다낚시 인구는 481만 여명으로 10년 전에 비해 46% 증가가 예상된다. 스마트 디바이스의 보급이 확대됨에 따라 모바일 기반의 바다낚시 앱(App)의 필요성도 커지고 있다. 기존의 바다낚시 앱들은 정보 제공 커뮤니티 기능이 대부분이고 예약서비스를 제공하거나 낚시 용품 쇼핑 기능을 제공하는 앱들은 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 경쟁 앱 분석, 낚시 경험자 대상 설문조사, 선주 대상 인터뷰 등을 통해 사용자 요구 맞춤형 앱을 개발하고자 노력하였다. 이를 통해 이를 통해 바다낚시 정보 공유 확대 및 거래의 투명성 향상에 기여할 것으로 사료된다.
