런지 운동 시 뒤넙다리근의 단축이 넙다리 근육 활성도에 미치는 영향 (The influence of hamstring shortness on thigh-muscles during lunge exercises)

  • Background: Hamstring shortness results in the inappropriate activation of the quadriceps femoris because of the loss of the reciprocal inhibition mechanism. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of that activation during lunge exercises on the vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, medial, and lateral hamstrings in participants with hamstring shortness and normal length. Design: Quasi-experimental design Methods: Participants were divided into a hamstring shortness group(n=20) and a hamstring normal length group(n=23), based on a hamstring length test. During lunge exercises, muscle activation of the vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, medial, and lateral hamstrings were measured by electromyography. Results: Each muscle tested was less activated in the hamstring shortness group than in the hamstring normal length group. However, there was no statistically significant difference between the groups (p>.05). Conclusion: Although there was no significant difference between the shortness and normal hamstring groups during short lunge exercise time, longer exercising periods will result in the inappropriate activation of the quadriceps femoris. During lunge exercise, hamstring shortness causes an imbalance activation of quadriceps femoris and hamstring, and continuous hamstring shortness can cause damage on joints of lower limb.

다중 키넥트 센서 기반의 운동 자세 추정 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Development of the Multiple Kinect Sensor-based Exercise Pose Estimation System)

  • 본 연구에서는 다수의 키넥트 센서를 이용하여 효율적인 실시간 운동 자세 추정 시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 정면과 측면에 키넥트 센서를 사용하여, 한 개로 추적이 어려웠던 사용자의 특정 자세 (예를 들어, 무릎컬 또는 런지)를 보다 정확하게 측정하고 인식하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그리고 추후 다양한 자세를 지원할 수 있도록 확장 가능하고 모듈화 된 방법으로 설계되었다. 이 시스템은 여러 클라이언트와 유니티 3D 서버로 구성된다. 클라이언트는 키넥트 골격 데이터를 처리하여 서버로 전송한다. 서버는 다중 키넥트를 보정하고, 각도와 거리를 기반으로 한 특징 값 추출하며 여러 대의 키넥트로부터 계산된 특징 값의 가중 평균을 사용하여 자세 인식 모델을 기반으로 자세 추정 알고리즘을 적용한다. 본 논문은 다중 키넥트 센서를 이용한 인간 운동 자세 추정 시스템의 설계 및 구현 방법을 제시하고, 체험형 유니티 3D 운동 게임에 적용한 예시를 설명한다.

철도차량 충돌 시 선두차량의 횡 및 요잉 거동 예측 연구 (Study on the Prediction of Lateral and Yawing Behaviors of a Leading Vehicle in a Train Collision)

  • 본 연구에서는 철도차량의 사고의 유형 중 가장 많이 발생되는 지그재깅 현상에 대해 이론 모델을 정립하여 선두차량의 지그재깅 거동에 대한 운동방정식을 도출하였다. 운동방정식을 풀기 위하여 미분방정식 수치해석법 중 가장 대표적인 Runge-Kutta 4차식을 사용하였고, 휠-레일 인터페이스에 의한 휠의 횡 변위는 운동에너지를 이용하여 추정하였다. 그리고 이론식을 검증하기 위하여 재그재깅 현상에서 가장 변위가 큰 연결기 위치에서의 횡 변위에 대해 시뮬레이션과 이론식을 비교한 결과 비 탈선 충돌조건에서 최대 편차율은 0.8 [%] ~ 4.7 [%] 발생하고, 탈선 충돌조건에서는 탈선이 일어나는 시점에서 차량의 횡 변위를 비교한 결과 최대 편차율이 0.6 [%] ~ 5.1 [%]로 잘 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 이론식을 사용하여 사고나 현상을 시뮬레이션으로 재현할 때 필요한, 전체적인 거동에 부합하는 차량 간 연결의 초기 off-set량을 예측할 수 있다.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to suggest effective lunge exercise methods for various purposes by comparing differences in the muscle activity of thigh and plantar pressure according to changes in base of support during lunge exercises. Methods: The subjects were 20 college students who agreed to participate in the experiment. They performed three types of lunges-a basic lunge (BL), wide lunge (WL), and narrow lunge (NL). In a static position during each lunge, the muscle activity of the thigh and plantar pressure were measured. Each movement was maintained for 7 seconds, and the muscle activity for the 3 seconds in the middle was measured and analyzed. The plantar pressure was divided into six areas for analysis. The subjects randomly performed the lunges to prevent the influence of an experimental sequence. Each movement was performed three times, and the mean value of the three measurements was analyzed. Results: The analysis of muscle activities in the thigh during the three lunge movements showed statistically significantly higher muscle activity of biceps femoris in WL and NL than BL. Moreover, the analysis of plantar force showed statistically significant differences between BL and WL and WL and NL on the medial-forefoot and medial-midfoot, as well as between BL and WL and BL and NL on the lateral-midfoot. The analysis of plantar contact pressure exhibited statistically significant differences between BL and NL and WL and NL on the medial-forefoot, as well as a statistically significant difference between WL and NL on the medial-midfoot and lateral-hindfoot. Conclusion: This study suggests that changing the base of support during lunges can be useful to suit the purposes of various rehabilitation programs.

가상현실 운동 자세 트레이닝을 위한 피드백 설계 및 효과 연구 (A Study on the Design and Effect of Feedback for Virtual Reality Exercise Posture Training)

  • 코어운동의 운동 효과를 높이기 위해서는 정확한 자세로 운동 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문은 가상현실 환경에서 코어 운동을 하는 사용자가 정확한 자세를 취할 수 있도록 피드백을 제공하여 운동 자세를 트레이닝 할 수 있는 시스템을 소개한다. 스쿼트, 런지, 브릿지의 총 3가지 코어 운동 자세를 대상으로 하였으며, 정확한 자세를 취할 수 있도록 시각 피드백과 촉각 피드백을 사용자에게 제공한다. 전문가의 자세를 사용자의 신체 길이에 맞게 조정하여 기준 자세를 생성하며, 사용자의 운동 자세를 기준 자세와 비교하여 운동 자세의 정확도를 계산한다. 사용자 실험을 통해 피드백의 효과를 입증하였으며, 피드백의 설계에 따른 트레이닝 효과를 비교하였다.

런지 동작 시 발 위치의 앞뒤 간격에 따른 하지 근위부 근육의 근 활성도 비교 (Comparison of Muscle Activity in Proximal Muscle of Lower Extremities during Lunge according to the Anterior-posterior Distance of Foot Position)

  • PURPOSE: This study was conducted to compare the muscle activity of the proximal muscles of the lower limb according to the distance between the front and rear foot during lunge and to determine the most effective foot position for activation of the proximal muscle in the limb. METHODS: A total of 49 young adults were enrolled in this study. All subjects performed lunge by positioning the big toe of the back foot and the heel of the front foot at intervals of 40%, 60%, and 80% of the subject's own leg length. Muscle activity of the vastus medialis oblique, rectus femoris (RF), vastus lateralis oblique (VLO), gluteus medius, biceps femoris, and semitendinosus (ST) was then measured during three intervals of lunge operation. Each operation was measured three times for 10 seconds each, after which the average value was calculated and analyzed. RESULTS: There were significant differences in muscle activities of RF, VLO, and ST among the three intervals of the foot (p<.05). Post hoc, comparisons revealed lunge at 40% intervals resulted in higher RF and VLO activity than at 60% and 80% intervals (p<.05). In the semitendinosus muscle, 80% leg length intervals showed higher muscle activity than 40% (p<.05). CONCLUSION: Strengthening of the proximal muscles of the lower extremities during lunge exercise is considered to be most effective when placing the fore- and rear foot at intervals corresponding to 40% of the leg length.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine the Effect of Lunge Exercise on the Balance of Stable and Unstable Supporting surface. Method : The experimenter was a healthy twenties male and female. The period was two weeks, divided into a stable group and a unstable group. Setting the holding time 4 sec 3 sets of 10 times using the Stable and Unstable Supporting Surfaces. The break time was set at one minute for each set. Balance cushions were used for unstable supporting surfaces. Results : After Lunge Exercise, Both groups had an impact on improving their ability to balance. Conclusion : There has not been much change in the ability to balance the stable and Unstable Supporting Surfaces. However, considering surface conditions, the pre and post exercise comparisons had an effect on improving the ability to balance.

홈트레이닝 시 발목 부상 예방을 위한 EMS 양말 효과 - 20대 후반 남성을 중심으로 - (EMS socks for Preventing Ankle Injuries during Home Training -Focusing on Men in Their Late 20s-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using socks combined with EMS on ankle pain reduction and ankle function improvement in home training participants. In this study, the conductive fabric was combined using socks that can properly compress the ankle. First, VAS was measured during EMS training after fatigue was induced and compared with fatigue during rest. It was confirmed that the level of VAS after EMS training was lower than after rest and fatigue. It was also confirmed that EMS training, which combines EMS with socks, was effective in reducing pain. The experimental action is a measurement action of WBLT and lying posture, and the situation before and after EMS training was compared by performing 30 minutes on the treadmill to cause delayed muscle pain during exercise. As a result of this study, it was found that pain reduction and ROM function were improved when electrical stimulation was performed using EMS socks. It was also confirmed that the application of electrical stimulation to EMS socks effected on ankle fatigue and function improvement. From the study results, it is expected that wearing socks equipped with EMS significantly reduces ankle injuries and improves functional recovery for home training participants.

여대생의 기능적 다리길이 차이가 런지 자세에서 중간볼기근, 넙다리근막긴장근의 근활성도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Electromyographic Activation on Gluteus Medius and Tensor Fascia Lata by Functional Leg Length Discrepancy in Women's University Students During Lunge)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to realize the relations between gluteus medius, tensor fascia lata of pelvic muscles and functional leg length in women's university students. This study is examined the change of electromyographic activation on gluteus medius and tensor fascia lata according to the leg length discrepancy. Methods: All of the female of freshman and sophomore in 'D'college were gathered and separated fourteen of healthy women in two groups by functional leg length discrepancy. and The subjects divided into two groups that the difference with less than 2cm or more would have structural defects by tapeline. The electromyographic activation on the gluteus medius and tensor fascia lata muscles were recorded by surface electrodes at maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) during lunge posture. The collected datas were analyzed using Independent t-test with SPSS win19.0. Results: In intergroup comparison of electromyographic activation levels for gluteus medius and tensor fascia lata in short or long leg, the influence of electromyographic activation on tensor fascia lata is shown to be more statically higher than gluteus medius according to functional leg length discrepancy in coeds. Even though both muscles are shown to be statistically higher in comparison of electoromyographic activation levels for tensor fascia lata and gluteus medius between short leg and long leg in Group I, Differences of electoromyographic activation levels for tensor fascia lata is shown to be statistically higher than gluteus medius. Conclusion: Through this study, we realized that tensor fascia lata than the long leg, and also, tensor fascia lata is significantly effective for functional leg length discrepancy than gluteus medius. It leads to pelvic lateral instability. This means that cause tensor fascia lata to have a leg length discrepancy.

皇龍寺 49萬소斤 巨鐘은 어디로 (The Whereabout of the Bell Imperial-Dragon-Temple)

  • 작금에 皇龍寺 49萬소斤 巨鐘의 행방이 문제가 되는 것은, 최근 경주시가 그 종을 찾아서, 우리 민족 문화의 국보를 되살리고, 이를 경주 황룡사 종루에 복원하면 그 종소리와 더불어 영원할 것이라는 데 있다. 그리하여 해군에서도 최신 장비를 동원하여 그 종이 빠졌다는 동해구를 뒤지고 있다. 그러나, 그 종은 고려 숙종조에 녹여 져서 신종으로 만들어 졌다는 것이 三國遺事 卷三, 皇龍寺 鐘條에 나와 있다는 것을 발견했다. 그리고, 그것을 기준으로 계산해 보니 皇龍寺 巨鐘: 무게 41.0 ton, 높이 3.14 m, 구경 2.44 m 皇龍寺 新鐘: 무게 7.4 ton, 높이 2.07 m, 구경 1.61 m임이 드러났고 종의 收率(종의 무게/입증)이 聖德大王 神鐘은 34.7 %, 皇龍寺 巨鐘은 13.6 % 임을 알았다. 그리고, 1103년에 皇龍寺 新鐘(7.4 ton)이 원 황룡사 거종이 달려있던 자리에 매달려 있다가, 1238년 11월에, 몽고 제3차 침입군에 의하여 황룡사 전체는 타 버리고, 그 新鐘은 지금의 ④번 國道의 course를 따라 토함산맥 제일 낮은 고개를 넘어, 보문양북면 大鐘川동해구로 끌려가서 동해구에서 몽고행 배에 싣다가 그 곳에 빠뜨렸다고 보여진다. 이번에 잘하면 해군이 7.4 ton의 황룡사 신종을 건질 수 있을런지 모른다.
