Since most CAD tool companies are carrying out very expensive license policies, designers are sharing CAD tools with a limited number of licenses within a design working or research group. It is important to share and use them efficiently, because CAD tool licenses are very valuable resources. Designers should know CAD tool license information such as available number of licenses, types, and configuration methods to use CAD tools properly in their group. Usually, this information is provided by managers who administrate CAD tool license servers in the specific design group. In the previous CAD tool licenses sharing methods, designers have to get CAD tool license information manually and setup the environments with their own hands, If a new designer comes into the design working group, the designer wastes unnecessary time and effort due to these manual processes. As a result, designer's productivity and utilization of CAD tools will decrease. Besides, managers also waste their time and effort, since they should provide CAD tool license information manually to each desiEner. In this paper, we present a more efficient scheme to share CAD tool licenses based on directory service. The proposed method automates not only the communication processes between managers and designers, but also the license configuration steps. We expect this scheme will reduce time and effort of designers and managers as well as enhance the utilization of CAD tools.

Superdistribution service of DRM system is an essential part for revitalization of digital contents distribution. However, it limits superdistribution range to superdistribution between consumers. Recently, as the demands of the consumer increase, the consumers want to use the contents in their multiple devices, In this paper, we propose a license management method supporting superdistribution between devices owned by a consumer, The proposed method creates domain key for device authentication by using identification informations of devices owned by a consumer and stores it in license, If devices are changed, domain key and license are updated, Through this method, contents distribution between devices can be achieved securely and efficiently, Also, this license management method can apply to superdistribution between consumers.

Super-distribution is essential for revitalization of digital contents industry in DRM system. Since existing DRM systems emphasize on security for intellectual property rights, it became restrictions to content distribution and the consumer rights. This paper suggests license management mechanism which strengthen super-distribution between consumers. It is to manage distribution history for each content by inserting consumer's identification information in content head. Client can verify security by comparing header and license after issuing license. It classifies the type of distribution and license, and then applies adaptive distribution methods. It can revitalize contents distribution by releasing proper license for super-distribution.

The proposed methods automate the communication processes between managers and designers that minimze unnecessary time to share CAD information. In addition, as this system maintains the consistency of CAD information automatically that remove the repeated work of managers and designers, it improves the enciency of sharing. Besides, it automates the license configuration steps using prof(y Last, we offer Executable Proxy which is proper for thin CAD application. We believe this scheme will reduce designers and managers' time and effort as well as maximize the utilization of CAD tools.

Digital home devices aims at providing the multimedia service which is not limited at time and space in home network environment. However, it is incapable of the fair use of consumers who legally buys contents, and causes damage to the contents providers owing to the indiscriminate distribution and use of illegal contents. DRM system appeared to solve this problem cannot protect the license stored on digital home devices and manage license by redistribution. This paper proposes a license audit model which makes an inspection of illegal access, modification and redistribution and reports alert logs to server.

기업에서 적용하고 있는 문서보안 DRM 시스템에서 상이한 라이센스 정책을 사용하는, 다양한 기술기반의 DRM Client 간에 컨텐츠를 공유하기 위해서는 DRM 기술에 대한 호환성이 보장되어야 한다. 여러 DRM 기술들이 시장에 공존하는 현재와 같은 상황에서는 DRM Client 간의 호환이 어려워 다양한 기술이 적용된 DRM Client가 사용자 라이센스 정보를 교환하여 컨텐츠를 공유하기란 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 공인 인증 방식과 라이센스 공유 방식을 통해 DRM Client간 컨텐츠를 호환하는 모델을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 디지털 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위한 다양한 암호화 알고리즘이나 워터마크 알고리즘이 하나의 사용자 단말에서 작동할 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하였으며, 컨텐츠의 재생 처리 과정 중에 다수의 제어 포인트를 두어 다중적인 컨텐츠 보호를 가능하게 하였다. 또한 라이센스 개념을 사용하여 다양한 컨텐츠 사용 규칙을 적용할 수 있도록 하였으며 컨텐츠와 라이센스를 독립적으로 관리하므로 사용자들 사이의 컨텐츠 전송을 가능하게 하였다.

기존 DRM 시스템들은 콘텐츠 저작권자의 저작권을 배타적으로 보호한다. 이에 사용자들이 DRM 으로 보호된 콘텐츠를 사용할 때는 다소 제약이 가해진다. 최근 사용자 중심의 콘텐츠 사용 요구가 확산되고 있고 이에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자들의 콘텐츠 사용 유형을 분류하고 그에 따른 라이센스 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 라이센스 모델에서는 사용자 식별 정보를 이용하여 허가된 사용자만이 융통적인 콘텐츠 사용을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 라이센스 모델을 통해 DRM 시스템의 저작권 보호의 기본 원칙을 제공하며 사용자에게는 융통성 있는 콘텐츠 사용을 가능하게 한다.

디지털 방송기술의 발달과 더불어 컴퓨터 및 단말 기술의 발전은 방송콘텐츠에 대한 활용 범위를 증대시키고 있다. 본 논문 에서는 다양한 단말기기에서의 안전한 방송콘텐츠의 이용 및 보호관리를 위한 라이센스 정책 및 관리방법을 제시한다. 제안하는 방법은 수신단말과 단말에 접근이 가능한 사용자 및 디바이스를 하나의 도메인으로 묶고, 각각의 도메인에서의 사용자 및 디바이스 정보를 이용한 다양한 비즈니스 모델에 활용 가능한 라이센스 발급 정책 및 접근 방법을 제시하며, 도메인과 사용정보에 대한 라이센스를 위한 키 관리 방법을 정의한다.

인터넷의 발전을 통해 대량의 디지털 정보를 활용할 수 있는 기반이 형성됨에 따라 다양한 컨텐츠들이 인터넷 환경에서 이용 가능한 디지털 형태로 제작되어 활발하게 유통되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷을 통한 정보의 공유가 확산됨에 따라 컨텐츠 및 라이센스의 불법 사용 및 복제 등이 문제점으로 나타나게 되었다. 디지털 컨텐츠 유통에 있어서, 개별적인 컨텐츠를 보호할 수 있는 기술이 필수적으로 요구되고, 이러한 요구사항을 만족하기 위해 DRM 기술이 저작권 보호 기술로 이용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 공개키 기반구조에 기초하여 저작권을 보호하고 관리하는 DRM 시스템에서의 라이센스 분배 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안한 프로토콜은 Diffie-Hellman 키 생성 방식으로 세션키를 설정하여 라이센스를 암호화해서 전송하므로 컨텐츠의 불법사용과 유통을 방지한다.
