Non-Point Source Mitigation Analysis by Applying Riparian Area in Nakdong River Using SWAT (SWAT을 이용한 수변구역 조성에 따른 낙동강유역의 비점오염원 저감효과 분석)

  • 1990년대 정부는 비점오염원 부하의 심각성을 인식하여 1995년부터 한강, 낙동강, 금강 그리고 영산강 이른바 4대강 유역에 대한 비점오염원의 조사연구사업을 실시하였다. 그러나 비점오염원의 경우 처리시설만으로는 처리하는데 한계가 있다는 특성 때문에 도시지역과 비도시지역에 대한 비점오염원을 관리하기 위한 대책 마련과 제도적 관리방안의 수립이 시급한 실정이었다. 따라서 본 연구는 토지매수가 상수원 수질개선에 미치는 영향 및 효과분석을 하고, 토지매수를 통한 비점오염물질 저감효과 분석을 위해 토지매수에 따른 비점오염원에 의한 오염물질 변화 해석 및 토지매수에 따른 최적 수변녹지대 조성을 위한 식생 효과를 분석 하였다. 수변구역 내의 비점오염물질의 공공수역 유입을 억제하기 위한 방법들 중에서 보편적이고 자연친화적인 방법이 수변구역(riparian buffer strip), 또는 수변완충구역(riparian buffer zone)을 조성하여 관리하는 것이다. 수변구역은 하천유역의 토양, 식물, 동물을 포함하는 시스템으로서 하천흐름을 조절하고, 물을 저장하며, 물에서 유해한 물질을 제거할 뿐만 아니라, 수중 및 육상의 식물과 동물을 위한 서식처를 제공하는 등 수질과 수량 그리고 생태계 측면에서 중요한 지역이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 현재 낙동강 수계에 수변구역 조성시의 수질개선효과 연구를 수행하였다. 토지매수가 상수원 수질개선에 미치는 영향 및 효과분석을 위해서 SWAT 모형을 적용하여 유량 및 수질모의를 실시하였다. 유역내 수변구역을 조성시 수변구역의 범위가 증가함에 따라 비점오염원의 감소가 크게 나타나고 있었다.로 대부분의 가정(家庭)은 아침 식사로 밥을 좋아하였다. (8) 편식을 고치는 것이 어렵다고 하였으며, 어린이 간식에 대하여는 깊은 관심을 나타냈다. 2. 영양교육(營養敎育) 현황실태(現況實態) (1)식생활(食生活)에 필요한 지식(知識)은 신문이나 잡지, 라디오와 텔레비젼을 통해서 대체로 얻고 있다. (2) 음식과 영양섭취와의 관계성이 있다고 답한 주부(主婦)는 70.8% 이었으며, 가족(家族)의 영양(營養)에 대하여 늘 생각하는 주부는 60% 이었다. 3. 식품섭취 빈도 거의 먹지 않는 식품(食品)으로 버터가 43.%로 가장 높았고, 육류의 섭취율이 낮았다. 반면, 김치와 채소류의 섭취율은 높았다. 집단간의 상관도를 보면 교육별로 김치, 장아찌, 콩이 각각 p>0.5 수준에서 유의한 차가 없었고, 나머지는 유의한 차가 있었다. 연령별로는 멸치가 유의한 차가 없었고(p>0.5), 수입별로는 콩이 유의한 차가 없었다(p>0.5). 4. 영양지식(營養知識) 검토 가정생활(家庭生活)에 필요(必要)한 일반적(一般的)인 영양지식(營養知識)은 대체적으로 낮은 편이었다. 어린이 영양, 편식의 해로움, 비만증의 해로움, 임신부 그리고 수유부 영양에 대하여는 일반적으로 알고 있다고 하였으며, 그다음으로 이유기 영양, 어린이 발육에 필요한 식품, 식품과 영양소와의 관계, 우유의 성분, 노인영양에 대하여 잘 알고 있는 비율이 낮았으며, 인체의 영양소, 식단작성여부, 간식의 이론, 식품감별법에 대하여는 가장 낮은 비율을 나타냈다. 각 영양지식은 교육정도가 높을수록 영양지식이 높았고, 교육별 집단간의 유의한 차가 나타났다.   • In recent years, technology has advanced so much, especially in the developed world, such that its application in development activities may be lagging behind. The lag between technological advances and its application affects agrometeorological science as well. This paper discusses technological advances that may be better used to communicate agrometeorological information. It is important to bear in mind that technological advances are only channels of communication that may be used to speed up the transference of information from the source to the user. The paper begins with a review of the definitions of 'communication' to put the discussion into context. After reviewing several papers, in simple terms, communication can be defined as the sharing of meaning. The paper also looks at operational communications channels and comes to a conclusion that operational communications channels are pretty much universal irrespective of the development level of a country, although some are more easily accessible in some parts of the world than others. The common communications channels include: newspapers, farming papers, radio, television, fax, email, mobile phones (SMS) and Internet web sites. As part of technological advances, mobile phones are becoming increasingly useful all over the world. In order to make better use of this technology, it is important far those that will use this technology to understand how the technology works, not necessarily in detail, but to be able to operate the technology and obtain the data they need. When it comes to constraints, communication of agrometeorological information requires a substantial amount of resources and it is generally expensive especially when sophisticated models must be operated.

  • Radiosonde is an observation equipment that measures pressure (geopotential height), temperature, relative humidity and wind by being launched up from the ground. Radiosonde data which serves as an important element of weather forecast and research often causes a bias in a model output due to accuracy and sensitivity between the different manufacturers. Although Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) and several institutes have conducted routine and intensive radiosonde observations, very few studies have been done before on the characteristics of radiosonde performance. Analyzing radiosonde observation data without proper understanding of the unique nature of those sensors may lead to a significant bias in the analysis of results. To evaluate performance and reliability of radiosonde, we analyzed the differences between two sensors made by the different manufacturers, which have been used in the campaign of Experiment on Snow Storm At Yeongdong (ESSAY). We improved a couple of methods to launch the balloon being attached with the sensors. Further we examined cloud-layer impacts on temperature and humidity differences for the analysis of both sensors' performance among various weather conditions, and also compared daytime and nighttime profiles to understand temporal dependence of meteorological sensors. The overall results showed that there are small but consistent biases in both temperature and humidity between different manufactured sensors, which could eventually secure reliable precisions of both sensors, irrespective of accuracy. This study would contribute to an improved sounding of atmospheric vertical states through development and improvement of the meteorological sensors.

  • An imaging plate(IP) detector, a two-dimensional digital radiation detector that can acquire image of radioactivity distribution in a sample, has been applied in many fields; for industrial radiography, medical diagnosis, X-ray diffraction test, etc. In this study, the possibility of IP detector to be used lot measuring radioactivity of sample is explored using its high sensitivity, higher spatial resolution, wider dynamic range and screen uniformity for several kinds radiations. First, the IP detector is applied to measure the surface uniformity for area source. Surface uniformity is measured rapidly and nondestructively by measuring the radioactivity distribution of common standard area source$(^{241}Am)$. Next, the IP is employed to study the possibility of measuring an extremely low-level activity of environmental sample. For this study the screen uniformity, shield effect of background radiation, linear dynamic range and fading effect of the IP detector is investigated. The potato, banana, radish and carrot samples are chosen to measure ultra low-level activity of $^{40}K$ isotope. The efficiency calibration of IP detector is carried out using the standard source.

Evaluating Picture Quality of Image Plates in Digital CR Systems (디지털 CR시스템에서 Image plate의 화질 평가)

  • Lab effectively supplemented the effects of outside radiation on image plates in the process of image acquisition of CR (computed radiography) systems and conducted for effective utilization in the case of clinical application. For this, Lab classified the storage places and time periods of image plates and compared and analyzed the differences between small dark spots. Lab also assessed the concentration distribution within the boundaries of images. Lab compared and measured the number of dark spots in a light room and a dark room depending on the storage places of image plates and found that dark spots slightly increased in an image plate when stored in a light room on the first and second days. Dark spots increased in proportion to the length of time stored. In the case of the image plate stored in a dark room, the number of dark spots remarkably decreased. With regard to picture quality as related to the location of image plates, the damage to picture quality could be reduced by locating regions of interest in the center. With regard to differences in sharpness following changes in the thickness of subjects, fewer scatter rays occurred and sharpness improved by reducing the thickness of subjects as much as possible. To get medical images of excellent quality, image plates should be managed effectively and it is desirable to keep images plates in dark iron plate boxes and not to expose them to outside radiation for a long time.

Analysis for the Consumers' Cognition and Opinion about Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) (기업의 사회공헌 활동에 대한 소비자 인식 분석)

  • The goal of this study is to examine consumers' cognition for the corporate social responsibility(CSR) and opinion to practical use of CSR on advertising (ex. corporate PR) in situation that CSR is treated with long-term and continuous activity in strategic marketing. The results of survey in this study are, first, the best effective method of CSR to introduce is TV or radio program placed first, internet came second, and followed by advertising. But the cognition process of CSR is internet palaced first in frequency. Thus it is very important to use of new media as a internet with regard to CSR. Second, respondents have thought positively about CSR and to practical use of CSR on advertising. But respondents answered that CSR is not enough though it's importance. Therefore marketers of companies is needed to transfer direction of CSR accord with consumers' liking and taste. Third, consumers have recognized that CSR in connection with characteristics core business of the companies. It is, image of company is not detached with CSR, more effective that CSR reflected characteristics of the company. Fourth, consumers have thought to active for CSR that the companies they like. Finally, these results are showed that is important brand management and corporate image management in strategic and macroscopic level include CSR.

Time-encoded Near-infrared (NIR) Spectroscopic Comparison of Absorbance Measurement Using an Acousto-optic NIR Swept Laser Source (음향광학 파장선택 필터 기반 파장훑음 레이저를 이용한 시간-인코딩 된 근적외선 흡광도 측정 비교 연구)

  • Time-encoded near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) system is proposed, based on a near-infrared (NIR) swept laser source, for comparison to the conventional NIRS method using a detector-type spectrometer. The cavity of the NIR swept laser source consists of a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) with a gain region around 800 nm, and several fiber-optic components. To change the output wavelength in time using an applied electric radio-frequency signal, an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) is introduced in the fiber ring cavity configuration. To demonstrate the feasibility of an NIR swept laser source for NIRS imaging, the spectroscopic comparison of two kinds of absorbance-measuring systems a detector-type spectrometer using a white light source, and a source-type spectrometer using an NIR swept laser is successfully performed with an NIR-absorbing dye.

Properties of TiN films prepared by using the DC sputtering and HIPIMS. (DC 스퍼터링과 HIPIMS로 제조한 TiN 박막의 특성 비교)

  • 본 연구에서는 직류 전원(direct current; DC)을 이용한 스퍼터링과 고전력펄스 마그네트론 스퍼터링(high-power impulse magentron sputtering; HIPIMS)의 두 가지 방법과 빗각 증착을 적용하여 제조한 티타늄 질화물(TiN) 박막의 미세구조 변화가 물성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. TiN 박막은 99.5%의 Ti 타겟을 사용하고, Ar가스와 $N_2$ 분위기에서 스테인리스(SUS304)와 초경(cdmented carbide; WC-10wt.%Co) 기판위에 코팅하였다. 기판은 알코올과 아세톤으로 초음파 세척을 실시한 후 진공용기에 장착하고 기본 진공도인 ${\sim}2.0{\times}10^{-5}Torr$ 까지 진공배기를 실시하였다. 기판과 타겟 간의 거리는 DC 스퍼터링은 10 cm, HIPIMS 스퍼터링은 8.5 cm 이었다. 진공용기의 압력이 기본 진공도까지 배기되면 Ar 가스를 ${\sim}10^{-2}Torr$로 주입한 후 기판에 라디오 주파수(radio frequency; RF) 전원으로 약 -800 V의 전압을 인가하여 글로우 방전을 발생시키고 약 30 분간 청정을 실시하였다. 기판의 청정이 끝난 후 기본 진공도까지 배기한 후 Ar와 $N_2$ 가스를 ${\sim}10^{-3}Torr$로 주입하여 TiN 코팅을 실시하였다. 빗각의 크기는 $45^{\circ}$$-45^{\circ}$이며, TiN 박막의 총 두께는 약 $2.5{\sim}4.0{\mu}m$ 로 유지하였다. 공정조건에 따라 TiN 박막의 주상정은 형태와 기울어진 각도가 다른 것을 확인하였다. DC 스퍼터링으로 제조된 TiN 박막은 기판홀더에 약 -100 V 의 bias 전압을 인가하면 인가하지 않은 박막에 비해 치밀한 박막의 성장과 경도 값도 증가하는 사실을 확인하였다. 또한 빗각을 적용하고 bias 전압을 인가하지 않은 시편에서 박리현상이 일어났다. HIPIMS로 제조한 TiN 박막은 bias 전압을 인가한 박막과 인가하지 않은 박막의 주상정 형상과 경도 값에 큰 차이가 없었으며, 박막의 박리현상은 모든 시편에서 일어나지 않았다. DC 스퍼터링으로 제조한 TiN 박막은 bias 전압을 인가하지 않으면 색상이 노란색이 아닌 갈색으로 나타났으며, HIPIMS으로 제조한 박막은 bias 전압 인가 유무에 상관없이 노란색 색상을 나타냈다. 앞서 설명한 DC 스퍼터링과 HIPIMS의 공정조건에 따라 나타난 박막의 경도, 색상, 물성변화 차이는 DC 스퍼터링보다 높은 HIPIMS의 이온화율에서 기인한 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구결과를 이용하면 다양한 형태의 박막 구조 제어가 가능하고 이러한 미세구조 제어를 통해서 박막의 물성도 제어가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Overcoming of the Legal Limits and the Status-Consolidating of the Online Services of the German Public Broadcasting System as the Third Media (독일 공영방송 온라인 서비스의 법적 한계 탈피와 제3의 미디어로서 위상 확립과정에 관한 연구)

  • With the digital technical development, the German public broadcasting system has enlarged their online services with the rapid growth of internet population and digital channels. In the debate on online services of public broadcasting systems the major issue is that broadcasting fees finance their broadcast, though they are intended to support mass communication only. Therefore the German private broadcasting claimed to the European Union, that broadcasting fee of the German public had to be regarded as state aid concerning fair competition. Due to the autonomy of the German public broadcasting systems, guaranteed by the German Constitutional Law, a public value test was proposed to the EU and was accepted domestically. The cut in rise of broadcasting fees was stated unconstitutional by the German Constitional Court in 2007, when online services were consolidated as the third media amongst TV and radio with regard to basic provision. This with the public value tests of the public and the accept of the EU's Audio Visual Media Services Directive was constituted in the 12th amendment of the State Contract of Broadcasting. This three-dimensional legislative process could be instructive for the korean process, because Korea too is on the verge of constituting a regulatory system of convergence media.

A Study on Utilization and Consumption of Seaweeds in Some Regional Residents (일부 지역주민의 해조류 소비 실태 조사)

  • This study assesses the consumption of seaweed by Koreans using a survey questionnaire. 1,218 subjects were surveyed. Those individuals were divided into inland and coastal regions. Statistical analyses were conducted using the SAS package (ver 9.1). The results of this study are summarized as follows: Of the survey respondents 46.5% were male and 53.5% were female. Inland and coastal residents were divided nearly equally (50.4% and 49.6% respectively). Overall slightly more respondents reported a dislike of seaweeds (52.8% vs 47.2%) and the major reason for their dislike was the smell. With respect to gender and age preference, more females liked seaweed than males (p<0.01) and individuals over thirty were more favorable when compared to those in their teens and twenties (p<0.001). Coastal area residents liked seaweed significantly more than that of inland residents (p<0.01). Respondents reported eating seaweed at home (50.8%) and at restaurants (28.2%). The cooking methods used for dishes with seaweed included: soup (44.8%), wrapped in seaweed (21.8%), and seasoned dishes (19.4%). The most popular item among processed seaweed products was beverages. 26.5% of respondents were getting their food and nutrition information through television and radio programming. In conclusion, the results of this study provides baseline and useful information for the development of marketing plans for seaweed products.
