  • With increasing interest in key areas of the 4th industrial revolution such as artificial intelligence, deep learning and big data, scientific approaches have developed in order to overcome the limitations of traditional decision-making methodologies. These scientific techniques are mainly used to predict the direction of financial products. In this study, the factors of apartment prices, which are of high social interest, were analyzed through SOM. For this analysis, we extracted the real prices of the apartments and selected a total of 16 input variables that would affect these prices. The data period was set from 1986 to 2021. As a result of examining the characteristics of the variables during the rising and faltering periods of the apartment prices, it was found that the statistical tendencies of the input variables of the rising and the faltering periods were clearly distinguishable. I hope this study will help us analyze the status of the real estate market and study future predictions through image learning.

  • The construction is the industry with the highest fatalities, and the fatalities has not decreased despite various institutional improvements. Accordingly, real-time safety management by applying artificial intelligence (AI) to CCTV images is emerging. Although some research on worker detection by applying AI to images of construction sites is being conducted, there are limitations in performance expression due to problems such as complex background due to the nature of the construction industry. In this study, the YOLO model and the OpenPose model were fused to improve the performance of worker detection and posture estimation to improve the detection performance of workers in various complex conditions. This is expected to be highly useful in terms of unsafe behavior and health management of workers in the future.

  • Recent deep learning-based research shows excellent performance in most natural language processing (NLP) fields with pre-trained language models. In particular, the auto-encoder-based language model proves its excellent performance and usefulness in various fields of Korean language understanding. However, the decoder-based Korean generative model even suffers from generating simple sentences. Also, there is few detailed research and data for the field of conversation where generative models are most commonly utilized. Therefore, this paper constructs multi-turn dialogue data for a Korean generative model. In addition, we compare and analyze the performance by improving the dialogue ability of the generative model through transfer learning. In addition, we propose a method of supplementing the insufficient dialogue generation ability of the model by extracting recommended response candidates from external knowledge information through a retrival model.

  • Knowledge distillation (KD) is a model lightening technology that transfers the knowledge of deep models to light models. Most KD methods have been developed for classification models, and there have been few KD studies in the field of super-resolution (SR). In this paper, various KD methods are applied to an SR model and their performance is compared. Specifically, we modified the loss function to apply each KD method to the SR model and conducted an experiment to learn a student model that was about 27 times lighter than the teacher model and to double the image resolution. Through the experiment, it was confirmed that some KD methods were not valid when applied to SR models, and that the performance was the highest when the relational KD and the traditional KD methods were combined.

  • In this study, images were classified using convolutional neural network (CNN) - a deep learning technique - to investigate the feasibility of information production through a combination of artificial intelligence and spatial data. CNN determines kernel attributes based on a classification criterion and extracts information from feature maps to classify each pixel. In this study, a CNN network was constructed to classify materials with similar spectral characteristics and attribute information; this is difficult to achieve by conventional image processing techniques. A Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager(CASI) and an Airborne Imaging Spectrometer for Application (AISA) were used on the following three study sites to test this method: Site 1, Site 2, and Site 3. Site 1 and Site 2 were agricultural lands covered in various crops, such as potato, onion, and rice. Site 3 included different buildings, such as single and joint residential facilities. Results indicated that the classification of crop species at Site 1 and Site 2 using this method yielded accuracies of 96% and 99%, respectively. At Site 3, the designation of buildings according to their purpose yielded an accuracy of 96%. Using a combination of existing land cover maps and spatial data, we propose a thematic environmental map that provides seasonal crop types and facilitates the creation of a land cover map.

  • The use of multi-spectral cameras is essential for day and night pedestrian detection. In this paper, a color camera and a thermal imaging infrared camera were used to detect pedestrians near a crosswalk for 24 hours at an intersection with a high risk of traffic accidents. For pedestrian detection, the YOLOv5 object detector was used, and the detection performance was improved by using color images and thermal images at the same time. The proposed system showed a high performance of 0.940 mAP in the day/night multi-spectral (color and thermal image) pedestrian dataset obtained from the actual crosswalk site.

  • The unit-water content of concrete is one of the important factors in determining the quality of concrete and is directly related to the durability of the construction structure, and the current method of measuring the unit-water content of concrete is applied by the Air Meta Act and the Electrostatic Capacity Act. However, there are complex and time-consuming problems with measurement methods. Therefore, high frequency moisture sensor was used for quick and high measurement, and unit-water content of mortar was evaluated through machine running and deep running based on measurement big data. The multi-input deep learning model is as accurate as 24.25% higher than the OLS linear regression model, which shows that deep learning can more effectively identify the nonlinear relationship between high-frequency moisture sensor data and unit quantity than linear regression.

  • In this work, we studied consumers' attractiveness/usefulness perceptions (CAUP) of online commerce product photos when exposed to alternative dark/light user interface (UI) modes. We analyzed time-series EEG data from 31 individuals and performed neuroscience mining (NSM) to ascertain (a) how the CAUP of products differs among UI modes; and (b) which deep learning model provides the most accurate assessment of such neuroscience mining (NSM) business difficulties. The dark UI style increased the CAUP of the products displayed and was predicted with the greatest accuracy using a unique EEG power spectra separated wave brainwave 2D-ConvLSTM model. Then, using relative importance analysis, we used this model to determine the most relevant power spectra. Our findings are considered to contribute to the discovery of objective truths about online customers' reactions to various user interface modes used by various online marketplaces that cannot be uncovered through more traditional research approaches like as surveys.

  • As the current cyber attacks become more intelligent, the existing Intrusion Detection System is difficult for detecting intelligent attacks that deviate from the existing stored patterns. In an attempt to solve this, a model of a deep learning-based intrusion detection system that analyzes the pattern of intelligent attacks through data learning has emerged. Intrusion detection systems are divided into host-based and network-based depending on the installation location. Unlike network-based intrusion detection systems, host-based intrusion detection systems have the disadvantage of having to observe the inside and outside of the system as a whole. However, it has the advantage of being able to detect intrusions that cannot be detected by a network-based intrusion detection system. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a study on a host-based intrusion detection system. In order to evaluate and improve the performance of the host-based intrusion detection system model, we used the host-based Leipzig Intrusion Detection-Data Set (LID-DS) published in 2018. In the performance evaluation of the model using that data set, in order to confirm the similarity of each data and reconstructed to identify whether it is normal data or abnormal data, 1D vector data is converted to 3D image data. Also, the deep learning model has the drawback of having to re-learn every time a new cyber attack method is seen. In other words, it is not efficient because it takes a long time to learn a large amount of data. To solve this problem, this paper proposes the Siamese Convolutional Neural Network (Siamese-CNN) to use the Few-Shot Learning method that shows excellent performance by learning the little amount of data. Siamese-CNN determines whether the attacks are of the same type by the similarity score of each sample of cyber attacks converted into images. The accuracy was calculated using Few-Shot Learning technique, and the performance of Vanilla Convolutional Neural Network (Vanilla-CNN) and Siamese-CNN was compared to confirm the performance of Siamese-CNN. As a result of measuring Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F1-Score index, it was confirmed that the recall of the Siamese-CNN model proposed in this study was increased by about 6% from the Vanilla-CNN model.

  • Recently, demand forecasting techniques have been actively studied due to interest in stable power supply with surging power demand, and increase in spread of smart meters that enable real-time power measurement. In this study, we proceeded the deep learning prediction model experiments which learns actual measured power usage data of home and outputs the forecasting result. And we proceeded pre-processing with moving average method. The predicted value made by the model is evaluated with the actual measured data. Through this forecasting, it is possible to lower the power supply reserve ratio and reduce the waste of the unused power. In this paper, we conducted experiments on three types of networks: Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and we evaluate the results of each scheme. Evaluation is conducted with following method: MSE(Mean Squared Error) method and MAE(Mean Absolute Error).
