다구찌방법을 이용한 디프드로잉 공정의 가공성평가에 대한 연구 (A study on the formability estimation of deep drawing process by using taguchi method)

  • Despite the increasing demands for improved product design, a limited number of works have been reported in the field of sheet metal forming. In the present study, introducing the Taguchi method, an otpimal and robust combination of parameters in found and a data base management system is utilized for knowledge acquisition. Analysis data, estimation rules of formability and graphical representation of the analysis have been employed for the dewigner's understanding and evaluation. The developed system is applied to a deep drawing process. Through the present study, it is shown that the developed systerm is useful for the design and the formability estimation of sheet metal forming processes.

  • The tendency of wrinkling formation on the flange of a deep-drawn rectangular container was investigated experimentally under different process conditions. Such process variables as blank size, sheet thickness, blank-holding force, and depth of drawing are chosen to examine their effects on the flange wrinkles of the products. Number and amplitudes of the wrinkles are measured along the periphery of the flange and compared between each case of process condition.

  • 'There are a lot of process variables, exerted influence on the formability of products, in deep drawing process. Particularly, it is important that the punch and die shape radius of the process variables. Though researches have been performed on the deep drawing of sheet metal forming, like this study, but it is insufficient the actual circumstances that researches for process variables of the non-axisymmetric deep drawing products. In this study, An effect on thickness distribution is grasped as alteration of the punch and die shape radius in the process of non-axisyrnmetric deep drawing products, and then the optimal punch and die shape radius were presented, they were verified by the numerical analysis method (FEM).

고온상태에서 마그네슘 합금의 디프드로잉 성형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Formability of Magnesium Alloy in Warm Temperature)

  • Magnesium alloys have been paid attention In automotive and industries as lightweight materials, and with these materials it has been attempted at deep drawing process for assessment of formability of sheet metal. For warm deep drawing process with a local heating and cooling technique, both die and blank holder were heated at warm temperature while the punch was kept at room temperature by cooling water. Warm deep-drawing process with considering heat transfer was simulated by finite element method to investigate the improvement of deep-drawability and temperature distribution of Mg alloy sheet. The effect of sham rate sensitivity index on the deformation profile was considered in this work and the simulation results revealed that considering heat transfer is very effective for deep-drawability of Mg alloy. The deformed blank In considering heat transfer was drawn successfully without any localized thinning and the cup height is higher in contrast to results of simulations in considering no heat transfer.

  • This paper describes a research work of developing an automated progressive design system for manufacturing the product with multi processes such as piercing, bending, and deep drawing. An approach to the system for progressive working is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system consists of three main modules, which are shape treatment, strip layout, and die layout modules. Based on knowledge-based rules, the system is designed considering several factors, such as material and thickness of a product, piercing, bending and deep drawing sequence, and the complexities of the blank geometry and punch profiles. It generates the strip layout drawing for an automobile product. Die design for each process is carried out through the die layout module from the results of the strip layout module. Results obtained using the modules enable the designers for manufacturing products with multi processes to be more efficient in this field.

  • 본 연구에서는 에너지법으로 축대칭 박판성형 공정을 해석할 때, Lee와 Yang 이 제안한 방법을 적용함에 있어 굽힘효과를 효과적으로 고려할 수 있는 방법을 제안 하고 축대칭 컵드로잉 공정을 해석하여 본 이론의 타당성을 입증하고자 한다. 굽힘 효과는 박판소재를 몇개의 층(layer)으로 나눈 뒤, 각 층에서 소비되는 변형에너지를 합하여 전체 에너지를 최소화시킴으로써 고려하였다. 해석시 펀치 목부분과 다이목 부분에서의 접촉압력은 각각 균일한 분포를 갖는 것으로 가정하였다. 본 이론의 타 당성을 입증하기 위하여 계산결과를 실험치 및 탄소성 유한요소해석 결과와 비교하였 다.

  • 본 연구에서는 축대칭 형상의 하이드로 미케니칼 디프드로잉 공정을 강소성 유한요소법으로 해석하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 Fig.1에서 보이는 바와 같은 경우 에 대하여 평두 펀치(flat headed punch)를 사용한 공정을 강소성 유한요소법으로 해 석하였으며 펀치 행정에 따른 챔버내의 압력 및 플랜지부의 압력분포를 구하였다. 접촉부의 처리는 플랜지부의 압력분포를 구하였다. 접촉부의 처리는 Yang등이 제안 한 방법을 적용하였다. 이론해석의 타당성을 알아보기 위하여 금형을 설계, 제작하 고 실험을 수행하여 결과를 비교 검토하였다.

  • Magnesium alloy sheets are usually formed at temperatures between $150^{\circ}C$and $300^{\circ}C$ because of their poor formability at room temperature. In the present study, the formability of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheets was investigated by the analytical and experimental approaches. First, tensile tests and the limit dome height test were carried out at elevated temperatures to get the mechanical properties and forming limit diagram, respectively. And then deep drawing of cross shaped die was tried to get the minimum corner radius and forming limit at specific temperature. Blank shape, punch velocity, minimum corner radius, fillet size, etc, were determined by finite element analysis physical try-outs. Especially, optimum punch and die temperature were suggested through the temperature-deformation analysis using Pam-stamp.
