홈네트워크는 가전 기기와 유무선 인터넷, 모바일 기기 등을 연결하여 가정 내의 시스템을 제어하거나 데이터를 서로 전송하며 다양한 분야에서 이용될 수 있다. 그 중에서 홈 엔터테인먼트, 디지털 홈 등과 같이 콘텐츠가 가치를 가지는 경우에 있어서는 콘텐츠의 불법적인 복제나 유통을 방지하여 콘텐츠 제공자 또는 콘텐츠 저작자의 권리를 보호하기 위한 DRM기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 DRM 기술을 소개하고, 홈네트워크를 위한 DRM 기술 및 표준화 활동에 대하여 알아본다.

방송 통신 융합 환경의 도래는 뉴미디어 산업 발전의 기회이며 동시에 저작권의 위기이다. 반면 저작권은 오랜 기간 논의된 문제였음에도, 제도적으로 기술적으로 해결되지 못한 미완의 숙제로 남아있다. 이 글은 저작권 보호와 공정 사용이 문화발전이라는 공동의 목적을 가지고 있음을 논증하고 융합 환경에 대한 구조 분석을 시도한다. 이를 통해 저작권 보호 기술이 가지는 한계와 제약을 검토한다. 또한 OWL로 표현된 관계 기반의 저작물 추적 및 통제 기술을 새롭게 제안한다. 특히 접근 통제 기술인 DRM을 시맨틱하게 설계할 수 있는 저작권 보호 기술의 속성과 특성에 대한 분석을 소개함으로 향후 디지털 콘텐츠 관리 및 응용 기술 구현에 도움을 주고자한다.

디지털 콘텐츠의 다양화와 인터넷 환경의 확산으로 인하여 디지털 유통 구조가 복잡해지면서 기존의 오프라인 형태에서 제공하는 방법으로는 새로운 유통 구조를 보호하기 힘들기 때문에 권리의 상호 침해를 방지할 수 있는 유통 구조 모델을 제시하고 이 모델에 적용할 수 있는 프로토콜 체계를 수려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 환경에서 디지털 콘텐츠의 유통에 관여하는 유통 주체(Entity)들의 권리를 보장할 수 있는 메타데이터를 분류하였다.

인터넷의 확산과 더불어 디지털 컨텐츠의 유통도 확산되었다. 그러나 디지털 컨텐츠들은 쉽게 원본과 똑같은 품질로 복제할 수 있으며, 인터넷을 통해 빠르게 이동이 가능하고 사용자들은 얼마든지 불법으로 이용할 수 있다는 것이다. 최근 국내·외에서 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 디지털 컨텐츠들을 보호하고 관리할 수 있는 DRM 기술이 활발히 연구 중이다. DRM 기술은 암호화 기술을 이용하여 허가되지 않은 사용자로부터 디지털 콘텐츠를 안전하게 보호하고 디지털 컨텐츠 저작권 관련 당사자의 권리 및 이익을 지속적으로 보호 및 관리 할 수 있는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 저작권 보호를 위해 안전한 DRM 메커니즘을 제안한다.

In undeniable digital signature scheme, the signature can not be verified without the signer's cooperation. The undeniable signature scheme can be used to computerize many applications which can not be done by a conventional digital signature scheme. In this study, we propose the undeniable digital multi-signature scheme which requires many signers and designated verifier The multi-signature can be verified only in cooperation with all signers. The proposed scheme satisfies undeniable property and it is secure against active attacks such as modification and denial of the multi-signature by signers. We also propose copyright protection method of co-authored digital contents as an application of the proposed scheme.

In this paper, we proposed the digital contents distribution business model for the operation of integration between heterogeneous systems in order to use IPTV. Also, we designed and implemented the protection management system through this distribution business model. This proposed model maintains interoperability between the heterogeneous systems, creates rights protection document based on REL, and provides the new version of packaged digital contents to itself by packaging the digital contents. Overall, it ultimately offers an interoperable environment. Moreover, since we pre-defines the relations among REL data based on MPEG-21 standard, which creates the newly packaged digital contents, it is easy to edit data. We can expect to save expenses of digital contents distribution and rights protection technology. Additionally, we can further improve security by encapsulating the security technology of CAS and DRM system.
