Digital contents is used already in near place with us. Contents of MPEG-4 standard is used to process multimedia data in field of communication, computer, broadcasting mobile etc. However, absence of copyright management and protection system and interoperability problem of right system between each corporation happened. Because MPEG establish IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) system standard in agreement with MPEG-4 system standard, proposed cooperation method to manage and protect copyright. Accordingly, in this paper, put in copyright of authorized contents management and protection extension system implementation adding MPEG-4 IPMP system like plug-in into existing MPEG-4 authorizing tool. Therefore, author edits IPMP information to protect contents or object, and process the information in system and authorize MPEG-4 digital contents that have management and protection sign according to IPMP standard. This system designed and implemented to divided into IPMP information save processor, IPMP information creation processor, media IPPM processor, XMT-A to MP4 converter IPMP extension.

As Information Technology has developed, digital library has an opportunity to change the paradigm of role of library to adjust in digital environment. Digital library has promote information services with digitization of materials. In library fare use is allowed to the public for information services. However, digital copy and transmission is simple in digital environment, to balance between owner and user is not easy but important things. Therefor, current copyright act is revised to adjust these environment but the act restrict the users'accessing digital library through interned, not complied with the motive of revision. Moreover, proposed act which is proposed to facilitate digital library services also extremely limits information services. In this monograph, I will review the copyright act related library and seek for the improved means.

In order to adapt the digital rights management community for the standardisation of expressing rights information in the libraries' content for the control of the rights of the digital works, it is necessary to establish rights information, that can build effective system of the distribution structure by the public ownership of the rights information and the interoperability of system. This research developed rights information constructing system in order to protect and enforce their rights over digital assets and embodied utilizing use-process of rights information.

XML을 기반으로 하는 가상문서는 다양한 데이터의 공유를 가능하게 하여 새로운 지식을 생성할 수 있도록 한다. 가상 문서를 지원하는 디지털 도서관 시스템에서 질의 링크는 인터넷 상의 정형데이터 공유를 가능하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 질의링크를 포함하는 XML- 기반 가상문서를 효과적으로 생성하기 위해 질의링크 생성기와 스키마 처리기를 설계하고 구현하였으며 이를 지원하기 위해 디지털 도서관 시스템과 가상문서 저작시스템에서 서비스 관리기, 메타 검색기, 데이터베이스 관리기와 저작도구를 확장하였다.

MPEG-4 디지털 콘텐츠는 통신, 컴퓨터, 방송, 모바일 등의 다양한 분야에서 멀티이디어 데이터를 처리하기 위한 표준으로 자리 잡고 있다. 하지만 저작권 보호 및 관리 시스템의 부재로 기업간 저작권 시스템의 문제와 관심이 대두되어 ISO/IEC의 산하기관인 MPEG에서는 MPEG-4 시스템 표준에 부합되는 IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) 시스템 인터페이스를 표준으로 제정하여 저작권을 보호하고 관리하는 공동 방법을 제공하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 MPEG-4 저작도구에 기반하여 MPEG-4 IPMP 시스템을 플러그인처럼 추가할 수 있는 확장 시스템 구현을 목적으로 두고 있다. 설계 부분은 IPMP 정보 저장부, IPMP 정보 변환부, 멀티미디어 처리부, XMT-A to MP4 컨버터, IPMP 정보 처리부로 구성하였고. 저작자가 IPMP 정보를 효율적으로 입력, 수정하고 시스템에서 처리되도록 구현하여 표준에 따라 보호 및 관리 신호를 갖는 MPEG-4 디지털 콘텐츠를 저작하였다.

디지털 트윈 기술은 산업 분야와 관련된 방대한 데이터를 다루기 때문에 데이터에서 유의미한 인사이트를 도출하는 것은 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 그러기 위해서는 관리자가 데이터를 직관적이고 빠르게 해석하고 이해할 수 있어야 하며 그와 관련된 표출 기술에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문은 현장에 대한 정확한 이해를 위해 전 산업 현장에서 공통으로 활용할 수 있도록 데이터를 초정밀로 표출하고 자동으로 디지털 트윈 가상 공간의 데이터 생성 및 저작이 가능한 서비스 플랫폼에 대해 논한다. 첫 번째, 데이터 초정밀 가시화를 위해 실사 영상 기반의 3D 가상 공간 및 현장 오브젝트를 자동으로 생성하여 표출하고, 저작 가능한 기술에 대해 논한다. 두 번째, 생성한 데이터를 서비스 하기 위한 경량화 표출 기술에 대해 논한다. 두 가지 기술 요소의 융합으로 디지털 트윈 가상 공간을 빠르게 생성하여 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있고, 서비스 가능한 형태로 변환하여 광역 표출 확장성에 대한 효과를 검증하였다.

Digital assets denote multimedia information that exists in the form of digitized materials such as images, audio, and video. The management of digital assets demands much effort because of a huge amount of storage space requirement and multidimensional characteristics of the information needed to describe their contents. In this paper, we design and implement a Digital Asset Manager that stores and manages digital assets efficiently. Among the various types of digital assets, we focus on the video asset which has the highest complexity. Our Digital Asset Manager provides various facilities for digital contents authoring applications. In the Digital Asset Manager, video assets are managed by using a hierarchical model in order to ensure efficient accesses to any part of a video asset. Our system also guarantees the independence from the storage platform, and provides a fast content-based similarity search method on the digital assets.

As logistic environment of digital resources is rapidly changing, protection of the intellectual property for digital resources has been recognized as one of important issues. Digital Rights Management (DRM) has taken much interests from ISP, authors and publishers of digital content as an integrated approach to create a reliable environment for access and the use of digital resource. In this paper we proposed a dynamic digital rights management system based on adaptive agent theory (ARPA : Adaptive Resource Protection Agent) to address problems facing contemporary DRM approaches : static rights management problem solving and strengthened monitoring/tracking system. We introduced a dynamic mission control scheme to realize dynamic digital rights management. We incorporated adaptive agent theory to implement on-and off-line tracking and protection. Through the implementation of protype system, the process, the process dynamic digital rights protection will be demonstrated.

The purpose of this study is to enhance the understanding of the provisions for library exceptions in copyright laws and to suggest the direction for the revision of provision in the Copyright Act of Korea. This study compares and analyzes the provisions for library exceptions in several countries' copyright law including Korea, Japan, UK, Australia and USA. This study found that the most common issues in library exception provisions are providing reproduction for users, reproduction for preservation, reproduction for interlibrary loan and digitization of library collections but the conditions for each issue are quite different. The suggestions for the revision of the library exceptions in the Copyright Act of Korea are as follows: changing the amount of reproduction of unpublished works, of works which cannot be obtained at a fair price and of periodicals for users, the transmitting digital reproduction to the user under limited conditions, preparing conditions for reproduction for preservation in libraries, preparing the applicable provisions for reproductions for interlibrary loans and for the limitation of works to be digitized and extending their use at the same time.
