The technique of developing Digital Contents have still not be a standard, and it is cause some problems in the Digital Contents's creating, circulation and consumption, So solve the problem, MPEG suggest MPEG-21 framework. In the standard, The IPMP take charge of the Digital Contents's protection and management, and also it is the same as the rights expression language REL and the dictionary defining the word of REL. But. the study of the IPMP is later than the study of REL and RDD, such as the other study of the MPEG-21 standard. So, there is few system based REL and RDD. In this paper, in order to management and protect contents right. So facing the latest standard, we designed and implementation the Tool Server and the License Server based on REL/RDD.

The rapidly growth of Internet is main factor that activates the Digital Contents market. However imprudent Digital Contents market could be shrunk by imprudent illegal copy and delivery. MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) proposed MPEG-21 Multimedia frameworks in order to solve these problem. IPMP is parts of MPEG-21 Multimedia Frameworks, when Digital Contents goes through production delivery consumption, which defines standard to keep the Digital Contents in safety. Currently IPMP defined by FCD(Final Committee Draft) level. Therefore development of system which applied to latest standard to protect and manage the Digital Contents is required. and the system consists of fourth organizations which means Metadata Production server, Tool server, License server, Consumption server. In this Paper, we made production server to parse REL(Rights Expression Language) document that has right information for content from license server, and create metadata based on MPEG-21 IPMP about the content that applied to watermark. then, after it do remuxing, transmit the protected data to consumption server.

본 논문에서는 대역폭의 감소를 가능하게 하는 프레임 드로핑을 MPEG-4파일 포맷을 따르는 미디어에 적용 했을 때, 암호화를 통하여 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 프레임 드로핑은 특정 비디오 프레임을 제거함으로써 서버의 과부하를 줄이는 방법이다. 프레임 간의 종속성이 가장 적은 B 프레임을 먼저 제거하고 종속성의 관계에 따라 I, P 프레임 순서대로 제거한다. 드로핑 된 파일을 서버에 저장후 전송하는 방법과 전송 시에 실시간 드로핑을 이용하여 전송하는 두 가지 방법을 설계하였다. MPEG-4 데이터의 암호화에는 3가지 방법을 설계하였고, 블록암호화 알고리즘은 DES(Data Encryption Standartd)를 사용하였다. 이러한 방법으로 MPEG-4 스트리밍 서비스 시에 서버의 DRM 솔루션을 구현하고, 최적의 방법을 선택하기 위해 드로핑, 암호화, 복호화 및 영상의 품질을 비교하였다.

최근 채팅 서비스에서 파일 공유의 증가와 함께 디지털 콘텐츠의 무단 공유 사례가 급증하고 있다. 기존 채팅 서비스에서는 무단 공유 발생 시 모든 트랜잭션 이력을 확인해야 하며, 이는 상당한 시간이 소요되는 문제점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 시그니처 각인을 활용하여 파일 송수신 이력을 효율적으로 관리하고, 웹 채팅 서비스 내에서 신뢰할 수 있는 파일 공유 서비스를 제안한다. 제안된 서비스에서는 채팅방에서 공유된 파일에 송신자의 시그니처 정보를 포함하여 전송함으로써, 데이터베이스에서 해당 파일의 트랜잭션 이력을 신속하게 확인할 수 있고, 이를 통해 책임자를 명확히 식별할 수 있다. 시그니처가 각인된 파일은 원본과 외관상 구별이 불가능할 정도로 유사하게 처리되며, 유사도 검사 기능을 통해 파일 수정 시 시그니처 손실을 방지하고 트랜잭션의 무결성을 유지하여 경로 훼손을 방지한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 서비스는 디지털 콘텐츠의 안전한 공유와 저작권 보호를 목표로 하며, 학습 자료나 창작물의 무단 배포로 인한 법적 분쟁과 경제적 손실을 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 파일 유포의 책임자를 명확히 하여 범죄 수사에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

DRM은 디지털 창작물에 대한 저작권을 보호하기 위한 기술로서, 컨텐츠가 출판되어 유통되고 사용되기까지의 전과정에 대한 일련의 보호 및 관리 체계를 의미한다. 컨텐츠 시장이 활성화되기 시작함에 따라 DRM 기술에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있으며 IBM, Microsoft 등의 거대기업들도 시장에 진입하고 있다. 본 논문은 컨텐츠를 \`보호\`하는 보안기술의 측면에 입각하여 DRM 기술에 관하여 개략적으로 설명하고, 국내·외 시장에 제품을 출시한 업체들을 소개한다. 또한 DRM 시스템이 제공해야 하는 기능 요구사항들을 요약하고, 지금까지 출시된 국내·외 주요 제품들의 특성을 간략히 분석해 본다.

DRM 환경 하에서 저작권자, 유통업자 사이에 존재하는 다양한 계약에 따른 권리관리정보가 콘텐트에 부착되어 유통된다. 콘텐트 유통업체는 해당 콘텐트를 다른 유통업체에게 재계약을 통하여 공급할 수 있으며, 이때 재계약되는 권리관리정보가 기존에 부착된 권리관리정보와 충돌이 발생할 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 콘텐트에 부착되는 권리관리정보 집합을 도출하고, 권리관리정보 사이에 발생하는 충돌 사항을 자동으로 체크할 수 있는 시스템에 대한 모델을 제시하였다.

본 논문에서는 개인 사용자가 쉽게 디지털 컨텐츠를 제작하여 다른 로컬 사용자의 계약에 의해 컨텐츠의 재분배까지 가능한 분산 거래 모델을 제시하였다. 제작되는 컨텐츠는 MPEG-21 멀티미디어 프레임워크를 기반으로 하여 컨텐츠에 관한 다양한 정보를 포함 할 수 있는 디지털 아이템 형식으로 제작되며, 본 논문에서는 개인 사용자가 쉽게 디지털 아이템을 제작할 수 있도록 DI(Digital Item)제작 tool을 구현하였다. 뿐만 아니라 컨텐츠 저작권 보호를 위해 MPEG-4 IPMP, REL을 이용하여 다양한 컨텐츠 관리 및 암호화 기능을 수행하는 소프트웨어를 구현하였고 이들을 기반으로 분산 거래 시스템을 구현하였다.

DRM software should conform completeness, correctness and appropriateness for the related function to protect digital right properly. Therefore, the systematization of functionality evaluation method based on the related standard is essentially required. In this paper, based on the software quality standard, I intended to construct a model to measure the quality about functionality including suitability, accuracy and interoperability of DRM software. To this, we developed functional suitability evaluation model by analyzing infra-technology of DRM software and quality requirements about functional suitability. I think that through this study, functionality criteria to enhance the quality level of DRM software. Through the accumulation of future evaluation practices, it is necessary to improve the suitability and validity of the DRM software functional suitability evaluation model.

멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 저작, 생성, 전달을 통해 최종 소비에 이르기까지 콘텐츠를 보호하고 안전하게 다루기 위해 MPEG-21 IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection)가 표준을 정의하고 있으며 현재 FCD(Final Committee Draft) 단계까지 표준화가 이루어졌다. 우리는 MPEG-21 IPMP에서 규정한 FCD규격에 따라 멀티미디어 콘텐츠와 그에 대한 저작권을 보호 관리하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 제안한 MPEG-21 기반 REL및 IPMP 보호 관리 시스템은 크게 보호 관리 메타데이터 생성부, 통합 제어 관리부, 디지털 아이템 암호화부, 네트워크 인터페이스부의 4부분으로 구성된다. 이 시스템은 먼저 라이센스 서버를 통해 MPEG-21 REL(Rights Expression Language) 규격에 맞는 라이센스 정보가 담긴 문서를 파싱하는 기능을 가지며 오디오 또는 비디오 워터마크가 적용된 멀티미디어콘텐츠에 대해 MPEG-21 IPMP 기반의 메타데이터를 생성하고 보호 관련 REL및 IPMP 메타데이터와 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 Remuxing 하여 전송되며 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 및 하나의 패키징된 DID는 암호화하여 최종 소비자에게 전송한다.

The usage of DRM-applied digital contents reduces user's convenience, thus it leads the many users to avoid using DRM-applied digital contents. In this paper, therefore, we propose the new distribution model in which the users, who purchase the DRM-applied digital contents, can resale freely those contents to the other users. As a result, the proposed model induces the users to distribute contents soundly by including them in one of distribution objects. For the purpose of this, in this paper, we propose that a packaged content and usage rights are transferred to another user by using a method which based on some existing digital ticket or coupon. In addition, the security of the proposed system is discussed for the double transfer, the forgery and the modification of usage rights, and the reproduction of contents and usage rights.
