디지털 기기의 발전에 따라 우리에게 이로운 효과를 주고 있으나 음지에서는 디지털 성범죄의 피해자가 속출하고 있는 실정이다. 사회적으로 지속해서 대두되고 있는 디지털 성범죄는 그 피해사례가 연간 약 2배 증가하고 있으며, 전체 아동·청소년 성범죄 사례 중 디지털 성범죄가 차지하는 비율은 2018년 6.5%에서 2019년 13.9%로 2.13배 증가하였다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 성범죄의 사회적 인식을 각인시키며 국내외 성범죄 피해사례와 관련 디지털 포렌식 고도 기술 연구에 관한 내용을 제안한다.

소셜미디어 사용이 증가하면서 성 착취물, 불법 촬영물과 같은 디지털 성범죄 또한 확산되는 추세이다. 소셜미디어에서 검색어 차단 정책 등을 통해 디지털 성범죄를 제재하기 위한 노력이 이루어지고 있으나, 은어 및 다양한 변형어를 사용한 우회 검색을 모두 차단하는 것이 어려울 뿐 아니라, 단시간에도 방대한 양의 데이터가 생성되는 소셜미디어 특성상 범죄 관련 게시글을 모두 식별해 내는 것이 현실적으로 불가능하다. 따라서 능동적이고 고도화된 크롤링 기술 개발을 통해 소셜미디어상의 범죄를 실시간 탐지하는 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 성범죄 관련 데이터가 빈번하게 관찰되는 트위터를 대상으로 성 착취물 및 불법 촬영물 정보를 수집하기 위한 검색 키워드를 정의하고, 실제 트위터 크롤링을 수행하여 텔레그램, 디스코드, 라인 등과 같은 다른 소셜미디어에 성범죄물이 유포되는 정황을 URL, 코드, 해시태그 추출을 통해 확보하는 수사 기술을 개발한다.

This is a descriptive research study to explore factors related to the perception of digital sex crimes among university students of the MZ generation in Korea. Data were collected by conducting a survey of 150 university students in Korea. As a result, the variable that showed the highest relevance to the recognition of digital sex crimes among MZ generation university students was sexual perception (β=-0.390, p<.001). Total explanatory power was 25.2% after adding gender (β=0.207, p=.018) and sexual attitude (β=0.157, p=.045). Our results suggest that customized education in consideration of factors related to digital sex crime perception is needed to form and improve a correct perception of digital sex crimes among MZ generation university students.

With the advent of the non-face-to-face era, a new type of digital sexual crime with avatars is emerging on the Metaverse virtual reality platform. Due to the lack of clearly established in legal and regulatory systems, it is challenging to punish offenders and acquire digital proof for sexual crimes using these avatars. This research aims to suggest a service and technological solution is development platform that may assist crime prevention and the collection of digital evidence, with a particular emphasis on digital sex crimes that occur in the metaverse, a virtual reality realm. This study explores the reasons behind the difficulty of legal application in the metaverse and then determines the types of digital sex crimes that may occur in the metaverse. In addition, it is suggested what service components the metaverse should contain from the stage of construction and design, can be utilized what element of metaverse in order to prevent illegal activity of avatars.

It is a newly defined concept of digital sex crimes as the sex crime pattern in Korea is integrated with digital technology. After examining the current status and response of digital sex crimes in Korea, legal and institutional gaps are identified.It is also aimed at drawing up appropriate responses to domestic situations compared to cases in major foreign countries. This study adopted the mode of literature research.It used related data from government agencies, various statistics and survey data, seminar data organized by the National Assembly office, women's organizations, and research reports. The ultimate goal is to derive the problem situation by analyzing the current system.The results of this study are to discuss digital sex crimes that are being expanded and reproduced by the development of digital media. It also points out that the legal vacuum caused by the law's failure to keep up with the law needs to be continued.Our conclusion is that we should actively accept best practices from abroad. In addition, it is necessary to create a community value in which all members of society become "monitors" in the recognition that they may be perpetrators or victims.

This study identifies the aspects and characteristics of 'Digital Sexual Crimes' that changed rapidly in recent years. It has identified the so-called "Telegram sexual harassment and exploitation" incident on the front page. We also want to analyze this and draw up policy suggestions that can help prepare social measures. In the wake of the Telegram sexual exploitation scandal, The National Assembly is quickly proposing related bills. However, the reality is that even a clear concept and definition of "Digital sexual Crimes" have not been made yet. The effective support system for victims is also insufficient. Therefore, this paper examines the definition and concept of child sexual exploitation and harassment. We will look at the features, causes, and conditions. In addition, it will examine the current status of Digital Sexual Crimes distribution and deletion of domestic, foreign platforms. Major foreign countries, including the U. S. A. refer to cases in which big data and artificial intelligence technologies are actively used to protect victims and track perpetrators.

An app is designed for the socially disadvantaged related to the Sex Offense. In 2013, The Republic of Korea claimed to exterminate four social evils. The first one of social evils is sexual assault. The app proposed in this paper will be used to prevent sex offenses. People may check the news related to the sex offense and search the sex offender. People may learn simple self-defense martial arts and use guidance service to go home safely. People may use this app trying to keep safety from the potential criminals by themselves.

Congress enacted the sex offender registration and notification act in order to prevent sexual offenses and protect public safety in the U.S.. Namely, in 2006, the Jacob Wetterling Act and Megan's Law were integrated into the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act as a comprehensive sex offender supervision and management scheme. The AWA aims to eliminate loopholes and gaps formed by inconsistent state laws and statutes as well as to provide the federal standards for sex offender registration and notification. However, the AWA contains over-inclusive sex offender registration requirements and punishments. For this reason, the implementation of the AWA may cause problems for states, sex offenders, and citizens, both as taxpayers and as beneficiaries of the AWA. Therefore, the AWA that does not differentiate between violent and non-violent offenders should be reformed to allow law enforcement officials to focus on sex offenders convicted of violent and heinous crimes. That is, the AWA should not apply to sex offenders who are not dangerous, not likely to recidivate, and who committed non-violent crimes. In addition, because the AWA requires juvenile offenders to registrate on public notification forums, it may result in a greater risk to community safety and potential risk of reoffense. Accordingly, juvenile offenders convicted of non-violent sex offenses and not likely to recidivate will be provided appropriate treatments to be rehabilitated as members of community.

This study proposes a sex crime prevention application for single female households. After analyzing the current status of single-person households, crime status in Gimhae, and existing sex crime applications, 15 women in their 20s and 30s living alone were surveyed by users, including cultural probes and contextual inquiry. Insight obtained through user research using the service design tool confirmed that it has a positive effect on user satisfaction in the production of the application. Based on the results of usability assessment, it is a follow-up research task to propose and commercialize actual production outputs for the prevention of sex crimes against single-person household women by further developing the sex crime prevention mobile applications that are the output of this study.

The purpose of this study is to apply a probation and tea culture therapy convergence program developed for the self-esteem improvement and recidivism prevention of sex offenders supervised by GPS electronic monitoring(wearing electronic anklet). After applying the tea culture therapy program, this study examines the effect of the program on the self-esteem improvement of sex offenders with electronic anklet. This study employs an integrative approach of qualitative and quantitative methods. It was shown from the qualitative analysis that the participants have considerably more positive attitudes, active participation, seriousness in interpersonal relationship, anger management, and sympathy after the program. The results from quantitative analysis indicate that the self-esteem of participants are significantly improved.
