This study suggested a digital curation framework for supporting the digital policy of institutes that collect memory. As such, it conducted a literature review and an analysis of digital curation models, as well as a focus-group interview of historians and graduate students majoring in historical studies. In this study, digital curation framework refers to an abstract model for supporting policy development and the planning for a high-level view of the archival information service. This implications of this framework are as follows: (1) to emphasize the data life cycle and connection between stages and actions; (2) to make an infra-schema for understanding institutes that create, arrange, or store specific data as the same history contents have to be provided by different institutes and as there are differences in the data's value; (3) to check the present conditions of information services and their systems; (4) to consider the practical applications of contents that have been collected and stored; and (5) to converge all data in one system through the framework and activate diverse works in the context of the framework.

Information inequality has been differently conceptualized and defined in national laws. While the information inequality increases, library policy and informational service has lagged behind in meeting the needs of the society and the state. This paper aims to provide a preliminary research on information inequality, in terms of conceptualization, the legal base, terminology, index development based on the level of digital information. The paper also highlights cases on library services for solution of the difference. It compares library services designed for the disabled, ethnic minorities and the aged. The paper reviews the existing literature and project data. As a result, there are a number of processes and tasks that needs to be developed, including policy development, supporting organization, human capital, cooperating network, supporting facilities and service, and data.

With the rapid penetration of digital technology In recent years, there are growing expectations that many new services will soon become available. One of the new services is 3Dimension(3D) services, because our concern is concentrated on the quality of information that exceeds the digitalization of information. A stereoscopic technique for generating 3D images is contributed to raise the quality of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) service and is extensively applied to various fields. So 3D services, based on that technique, are expected to create a new market for ICT industry and provide significant benefits to consumers. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the consumer preference and evaluate the economic value of the 3D broadcasting service, so it provides propriety of the 3D technology development for market planners and product developers who need to assess the market potential of a product that is not yet available for actual test marketing. And it is useful for decision-makers in considering the provision of 3D services. In this paper, the gang survey was conducted to understand consumer preference of 3D services. And it attempts to apply the contingent valuation method(CVM) to measuring the willingness to Pay(WTP) for the 3D broadcasting service and analyzing the determinants of the WTP.

Researches on U-Healthcare service integrating medical information and IT technologies are actively conducted. U-Healthcare service is the next generation's medical paradigm that ensures conveniences to many users so that the society recognizes the importance and attempts for commercialization through various business model are performed. To form such U-Healthcare service market safely, various policies on the social structure should be established through the standard and the medical law to systemize of the medical information led by the governmen. Especially, the government's security policy to ensure the safety for the government leading visualization of U-Healthcare should be firmly established. Firstly, this paper presents U-healthcare Service and policy guideline. Secondly, it analyzes security threatening factors for the safe U-Healthcare service. By classifying the analyzed security threatening factors based on three major elements of the security, Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of security policy for each element is proposed.

Image media is used for the internet, computers and digital cameras as part of the core services of multimedia. Digital images can be easily acquired and processed, due to the development of digital home appliances and personal computers' application software. However, image degradation occurs by various external causes in the acquisition, processing and transmitting process of digital images, and its main cause is known to be noise. Therefore, this study proposed and conducted the simulation of image restoration filter algorithm that processes impulse noise and Gaussian noise by applying Lagrange interpolation and spatial weighted method according to distance, respectively. The proposed algorithm improved 8.77[dB], 8.83[dB] and 10.02[dB], respectively, compared to existing A-TMF, AWMF and MMF, as a result of processing by applying the damaged Girl images to impulse noise(P=60%) and Gaussian noise(${\sigma}=10$).

The purpose of this study is to assess usage of floating action button, a component of Google's Material Design. Case studies were conducted to overview the component's current usage and qualities, followed by eye-tracking experiments and in-depth interviews conducted to 12 subjects. Results have shown that while floating button can promote an action by catching viewers' attention with its striking visual, users tend to look at top more, thus preferring top placement for interfaces. To give positive user experience, designers should consider factors such as the amount of content covered by the button, the way users interact with the application, etc. This study aims to provide proper guidelines for the component's application.

As demands for health and wellbeing in the ageing society have grown, complex problems involving diverse stakeholders arise in the healthcare environment. The objective of this study is to identify roles and abilities of designers in a healthcare setting where professionals from different disciplines collaborate to achieve a common goal. Case studies on healthcare design projects adapting interdisciplinary approach were explored to find which methods and processes were implemented effectively. Results are based on three research questions that lead to analyzing multifaceted roles of designers regarding process facilitation, manage relations, visualization, and imagination.

This paper proposes a signaling and multiplexing mechanism in service-compatible 3DTV broadcasting for guaranteeing backward-compatibility with legacy DTV. Recently, 3DTV experimental broadcasting services are being developed around advanced countries and the standardization of service-compatible 3DTV broadcasting which is able to provide high-quality stereoscopic videos in progress. Based on experimental results, we confirm that proposed method can be used as a common technology and a reference model for stereoscopic video transmission over terrestial, satellite and cable DTV platforms in 3DTV broadcasting service and system development.

Today, a number of users using smartphone is very rapidly increasing by development of smartphone performance and providing various services. Also, they are using it for enjoying various services(cloud service, game, banking service, mobile office, etc.). today's mobile security solution is simply to detect malicious code or stay on the level of mobile device management. In particular, the services which use sensitive information, such as certificate, corporation document, personal credit card number, need the technology which are prevented from hacking and leaking it. Recently, interest of these mobile security problems are increasing, as the damage cases been occurred. To solve the problem, there is various security research such as mobile virtualization, ARM trustzone, GlobalPlatform for mobile device. Therefore, in this paper, I suggested efficient method that uses the mobile virtualization techniques of certification, security policy and access control, password/key management, safe storage, etc. and Trustzone of ARM for preventing information leakage and hacking.

This study was to explore the meanings and follow-up tasks for enactment of Act on Supply and Utilization Promotion of Assistive Technology Devices for People with Disabilities and Seniors(Assistive Technology Act) in Korea. I conducted analysis about contents and establishment process of the Act. The study found meaningful effects ; it provided the basis for supporting assistive technology devices based on the social model, it led to an Implementation of the national obligations such as UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it provided terms related to assistive technology. It is suggested to conduct follow-up studies and to put the efforts to strengthen additional laws for backing up the effective policy for extended support of assistive technology devices and for security of budget, for establishing regional service centers, for phasing of professional qualification, for controlling quality, for establishing an information system, and for promoting industries.
