정부는 이미 차세대 성장동력 10대 과제로 디지털콘텐츠 산업을 선정, 2007년까지 세계 5대 디지털콘텐츠 강국으로 부강하겠다는 야심찬 포부를 밝혔다. 2003년 627억달러의 세계시장 규모에서 2007년 1,267억달러, 2012년 2,563억달러로 급증할 것으로 예상되면서 정부는 디지털콘텐츠 관련 분야를 집중 육성하겠다고 선언한 바 있다. 디지털콘텐츠 강국이 되기 위해서는‘사람이 경쟁력’이라는 것에 누구나 동의하고 있다. 디지털 지식경제사회가 진전할수록 뛰어난 한 사람이 평범한 1만명을 먹여 살리는 구조가 정착되고 있다. 이에 본지는‘사람’의 중요성을 일깨우고자 대학 ·기업 ·연구소 등 각계각층의 인력현황과 구조적 문제점, 그리고 나아갈 방향 등을 제시하는‘사람이 경쟁력이다’라는 주제로 지난 1월호부터 기획 연재를 진행하고 있다. 이번 호에는 국내 디지털콘텐츠 관련 대학의 전반적인 현황 및 각 지역에서 디지털콘텐츠 관련 전문 인력을 배출하고 있는 우수대학을 소개한다.

The present thesis aims to analyze in consideration of recent changes in teaching environment in the universities the commercial digital contents and e-learning courses provided by the libraries, and to propose the ways to encourage university library service needed under the current situation. A survey of professors and students upon the quality of commercial digital contents service provided by the libraries in I University was made to measure its influence upon e-learning courses. The quality of commercial digital contents service provided by libraries was measured through Digital Library Service Quality Index (which will be referred as DL-SQL Model from here), which is used as a model to examine the Digital Library Service, with partial adjustments of 4 levels (information system service, digital books service, customer service quality, and customer community service) and 7 components (search possibility, an exclusive organization and interface, accessibility, digital books, customer support service, personalized service, and customer community). Among the library services in regard to digital contents, "customer service" and "customer community service" were analyzed to have stronger influence upon e-learning teaching and studying than quality-based service for "information system" and "digital books". Consequently, it is concluded that customized information service provided by the library for the professors who teach e-learning courses and their students is more influential to supporting e-learning courses than quantity pushing service through purchasing commercial digital contents, upon which the direction of digital contents policy to provide library services for e-learning courses should be based.

The educational environment in the digital age of the 21st century definitely affects teaching and learning methods to be changed. In addition, the perceptions and methods of mathematics education in the digital age have also been changing. This study proposes a university mathematics education model suitable for the digital age, which makes full use of the internet/digital environment and leads the students to participate in the learning processes. We apply the proposed model to Linear Algebra course, and present a concrete method of teaching and learning model including evaluation. This will be the first study on how to organize and operate digital courses in Korea in accordance with the mathematics education in the digital era which is rapidly spreading around the world.

본 연구는 거시경제학의 기초이론인 케인즈 모형을 사용하여 지역의 대학이 지역 경제에서 차지하는 역할이 어느 정도가 되는지 계량적 분석과 설문지를 통한 실증분석을 하였다. 먼저 케인즈의 모형을 사용한 분석결과, D 대학 학생들은 1994 년$\sim$2002 년까지 연간 1 천억 이상 소득 창출효과를 보였다. 이것은 속초시 총소득의 $15%{\sim}30%$ 이상을 차지하는 상당한 비중이라 할 수 있다. 두 번째 분석으로는 D 대학 학생과 지역주민을 대상으로 한 설문 조사를 하였다. 특히 같은 도내 대학교인 K 대를 대상으로 조정 권 (2002)의 연구와 그 결과를 비교하였다. 분석결과 D 대학과 K 대는 전반적으로 유사한 결과를 보였지만, 지역주민들은 실제 계량적 분석결과와 달리 지역대학의 경제적 영향력을 과소 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 지역주민 (지방자치단체) 의 지역대학에 대한 인식의 차이와 이해 부족은 지역대학의 잠재능력을 사장시킬 뿐만 아니라 결국 지역발전의 저해 요인으로 작용한다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

이 연구의 목적은 에너지신산업 분야 디지털 혁신공유대학 온라인 교육과정을 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 교육과정에 대한 만족도 및 인식을 조사하고, 학습자의 수업만족도와 핵심역량 간의 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 에너지신산업 분야 디지털 혁신공유대학 교육과정을 수강한 학생들의 교육과정 만족도 조사 결과를 양적, 질적 방법으로 분석하고, 분석 결과를 토대로 혁신공유대학 교육과정 설계 및 개발 방향과 시사점을 제시하였다. 이 연구 결과는 향후 디지털 혁신공유대학 교육과정 질 관리 환류 체계를 마련하고, 지속적인 교육과정 질 관리 시스템 구축을 위한 토대가 될 것으로 기대한다.

허문행 전 한국소프트웨어진흥원 디지털콘텐츠사업 단장이 퇴임 후 3월초부터 대학강단에서 후배양성에 나서고 있다. 안양대학교 디지털미디어학부에서 교편을 잡은 허문행 전 단장은“정부정책을 직접 펼칠 수 있는 자리도 보람 있었지만 대학에서 학생을 가르치는 것도 가슴을 설레게 하네요”라며“디지털콘텐츠를 체계적으로 공부한 학생들이 사회 적소에서 오피니언 리더로 자리매김 할 수 있도록 적극 도울 계획”이라고 포부를 밝혔다.

This paper examines the necessity and direction of digital literacy education as university education in the AI era. Digital literacy can be considered universal education about everyday culture in a digital environment, and its scope is expanding to cultivate the competencies necessary for citizens of a digital society, rather than simply the ability to use digital devices. In this paper, the university liberal arts curriculum has strengthened the information literacy area to reflect the changes of the times, but it is presented as a problem that it is still focused on the technical aspects of learning how to use digital devices and specific programs. It was suggested that the direction of digital literacy education in universities should not be limited to the technical and instrumental aspects of using digital devices, but that it would be desirable to focus on digital ethics considering the social impacts that may arise from the use of digital devices.

This study aims to investigate the current state of digital reference services using electronic bulletin boards in Korean academic libraries and to suggest improvements. Through the examination of 205 academic library websites, 56 libraries were identified to use electronic bulletin for digital references. The digital reference service questions and responses from four libraries were further analyzed: the types of reference question, the structure and accuracy of answers, and digital reference completion time. The implications of this study for future research and practice lie in its provision of a systematic way to design practical guidelines for virtual reference services.

The Korean University faced the rapid challenge of M&A. The Korean Government had a evaluation of all Universities and colleges. This paper investigated the transactional and real time properties of the University Evaluation Indexes and suggested these indexes to the BI(Business Intelligence) system contents.
