A Study on the Construction Plan of Smart Fish Farm Platform in the Future (미래 스마트 양식 플랫폼의 구축방안에 대한 연구)

  • As the consumption of fishery products continues to increase, aquaculture industry has emerged instead of fishing industry facing limitations of fish stock resources. Recently, smart fish farming industry has rapidly developed through convergence with 4th Industrial Revolution technology. Accordingly, it is important to derive a future model of smart fish farming platforms in order to secure the superiority of the aquaculture industry and the technology standard hegemony. In this study, the future direction of smart fish farm platform was derived through the analysis of environment related to politics, economy, society, and technology related to smart fish farming by applying PEST methodology of macro-environment analysis. It is expected that it will help the public and industrial circles in planning and implementing related projects by including the entire process of value chain of aquaculture industry of breeding, production, management and distribution, and by presenting advanced models based on artificial intelligence and digital twin.

A Study on Evaluating the Practicalness of Library and Information Courses in Korea (한국 문헌정보학 교과목의 실용성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposed to assess courses which are currently offered in the Department of Library and Information Science, and to explore directions for improvement. Based on field librarians' needs and opinions about the courses, we suggested separating the required, core, and elective courses. We proposed six courses including 'Internship', 'Introduction to Library and Information Science', 'Cataloging and Classification', 'Library Management', and 'Information Retrieval' as required courses, and 5 courses including 'Practice in Cataloging and Classification', 'Information Resource and Service', 'Collection Development', 'Digital Library System', 'Introduction to Bibliography' and 'Records Management and Archives' as core courses. Finally, the remaining courses were recommended as selective courses which each department could select depending on their circumstances and faculty. The important components for substantial LIS courses are as follows: timeliness of training topics, expertise of educational contents, professionalism and qualifications of faculty, specialized educational materials, and increasing the major correlation between courses and professors.

  • After the industrial revolution, the design concepts have established by the basis of the ornament and styling and emphasized in the respect of characteristics of the art and manufacture. On the other side, theoretical research part of design has neglected. But, the modem concepts of design is changing into new concept that shares the attributes of various sides of sociology, cultural sciences, engineering and business adminstration study. In accordance with the change of design concept, the utility frequency of the statistical method is increasing in the ares of design. In this paper, we evaluated the adequacy of statistical method of the design papers that were published in the Journal of Korean Society of Design Science.

기술혁신이 정보통신 사업구도에 미치는 영향 및 전망

  • 최근의 정보통신은 하루가 다르게 기술혁신에 의한 변화를 맞이하고 있는 가운데, 기술이 시장을 주도하여 신기술이 시장구조를 변화시킴은 물론 정보통신 사업구조를 크게 개편시키고 있다. 정보통신망기술은 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 대량, 고속으로 전송·교환할 수 있는 방향으로 발전되고 있으며, 단말기는 유·무선전화서비스를 비롯하여 영상정보까지 다양하게 송수신할 수 있는 보다 작고 간편한 멀티미디어 일체형으로 발전하고 있다. 서비스분야에서는 디지털화, 고속화, 광역화에 따라 문자, 음성, 영상 등이 통합된 멀티미디어서비스가 보급되고 있으며, 특히 '7년부터 상용화된 인터넷을 통한 전화와 방송서비스는 정보통신분야에 새로운 사업영역으로 등장하고 있다. 이로인해 기존의 통신사업 질서인 “유선통신 대 무선통신”, “기본통신 대 고도통신”, “통신 대 방송”의 개념은 무너져 버리고, 기술과 시장이 상호 융항되어 새로운 통신사업 구도를 형성시키고 있다. 이의 대표적인 사례는 인터넷분야이며, 기존의 전화사업은 물론 CATV등 방송사업에까지 시장잠식과 구도변화라는 형태로 커다란 영향 미치고 있다. 국내 정보통신 사업정책도 이러한 세계적인 추세에 따라 이미 지난해 별정통신 사업자의 신설 등 정책과 제도를 바꾸었으나, 기술혁신 속도보다 늦게 반응하여 사업초기에 혼란을 주고 있는 실정이다. 최근 기술에 의한 시장구조 변화에 대응하기 위하여 정부는 기존 국가 초고속망구축사업도 대폭 수정하여, 즉 모든 가입자선로를 광케이블로 연결하는 당초의 계획을 ADSL 등 기존 전화선의 활용과 WLL기술을 선택적으로 적용시키고 있다. 통신사업자들도 유선위주의 전송망과 가입자망을 LMDS, WLL 등의 무선통신망으로 구축하려는 현상이 나타나고 있으며, 정보통신 정책도 과거의 유·무선통신을 별개로 취급하던 정책에서 선회하여 겸업 또는 연계를 권장하는 방향으로 전환되고 있다. 이와같이 정보통신분야의 기술혁신과 새로운 서비스의 도입은 기존 서비스시장의 시장잠식은 물론 유·무선영역을 무너뜨리고, 고정사업자와 무선사업자간의 영역이 허물어지는 등 사업자구도를 크게 변화시키고 있다. 이러한 기술혁신의 영향으로 시장경쟁은 심화되어 단기적으로 기존 통신사업자의 경영수지가 악화되기도 하지만, 요금인하를 수반한 신기술서비스의 공급은 이용자 입장에서 저렴하고 양질의 정보통신서비스를 제공받을 수가 있으며, 장기적으로는 서비스이용 증가로 인해 전체적인 시장크기는 더욱 확대되어 통신사업자와 이용자 모두 효율성을 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

  • Having been speed development of information delivery using the mobile phone, it is generalization. The Mobile has one of the importance for their information searcher as tool. It is widely recognized that tourism information can be defined as useful and reliable reference which significantly influence the traveler' decision-making. This paper presents pioneer and ongoing study of the method for the pinpionting mobile tourism information system with RTLS, 2D Barcode and mobile phone itself. And, this paper relief that benefit and influence of TCO a view on the business administration points.

  • Problem-based learning (PBL) appears to be a superior and effective strategy to train competent and skilled practitioners and to promote long-term retention of knowledge and skills acquired during the learning experience. This study concerns the implementation of PBL in the online environment and face-to-face PBL. An online environment allows participants to communicate with one another, view presentations or videos, interact with other participants, and engage with resources in work groups. Nowadays, education is accessible everywhere with the use of digital devices. Educational institutions subscribe to GSuite for Education, and Google introduced its Google Classroom as an e-learning platform. This study aims to analyze Google Classroom and to design PBL for Mongolian students taking Korean courses. The main objective of this paper is to identify the usability and evaluation of Google Classroom. The result of this study will be a proposed e-learning platform for Dornod University, Mongolia, which is initially needed in the Natural Science and Business Department.

Exploratory Research on the Fidelity Management and the Digitalization of New Product Development Process (신제품 개발과정의 디지털화와 현실반영 정확도 관리에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • There has been rapid diffusion of digital innovation technology(DIT) such as 3 D CAD, CAE, simulation software which enable firms to see the future results of intended product designs through 3 D diagram and simulated results. This technology helps firms to reduce trial and error process by solving later stage problems in earlier stages. The DIT being the technology reflecting the real world, as a tool representing the simplified form of the real world, the degree of reflecting the real world(fidelity) is important in utilizing the DIT. This study is an exploratory research examining the process of reviewing the fidelity of the DITs and developing the complementary process necessary for utilizing the DIT with 'not good enough' fidelity. This study could draw out, from its case study, an exploratory hypothesis about the process of developing the complementary process. In the process, there is an analysis of the corresponding relationship between the actual data and the output data of the DIT, e.g. simulated result. Then the input data or output data are adjusted on the basis of the analysis of the corresponding relationship so that the discrepancy between the actual data and the expected interpretation of the output data, through the adjustment, of the DIT, can be reduced. This process is sometimes accompanied by the process of generating experimental data, which reflect the unique situation of the product development process of a company, to be put to the data base of DIT. The complementary process is the process requiring knowledge sharing and adjustment activities across different divisions. This study draw outs implications for effective management of the fidelity of DIT tools.

Development of Evaluation Indicators for Research Libraries (전문도서관 운영평가를 위한 평가지표 개발)

  • Evaluation indicators reflecting recent digital environments are needed as a tool to increase research library's competitiveness and productivity. Especially, research libraries have different subject backgrounds and there are many one-person libraries. In this study, we developed new evaluation indicators based on the draft indicators made in 2007 considering these environmental elements so that it may be used easily and applicable to various research libraries. In developing the new indicators, we reviewed other library type's indicators and listened carefully to the comments from expert librarians in the research libraries through several meetings. After developing the indicators, we made a survey in order to verify its validity as well as its effectiveness and also made a test evaluation for research libraries. The proposed indicators will contribute in evaluating the current level of Korean research libraries and promoting them to the future-oriented libraries.

Competitiveness of Cable TV in the Multiplatform Media Marketplace (멀티플랫폼 시대 케이블 TV의 경쟁력 강화방안)

  • This study investigated a current situation of cable TV in order to seek and suggest cable TV's competitive superiority in the era of multiplatform media marketplace. This study suggested cable TV's direction from two aspects, short-term and mid and long-term strategies. As a result, it recommended that cable TV industry need to establish content circulation representatives, and reinforce multiformat contents suitable for various multiplatform uses, digital cable promotion, production of SO's originated programs, HD VOD, bundling services and diverse programs. As a long-term strategy, this study also suggested cable TV industry need to cooperate with smart TV industry in order to widen openness of its platform, and to provide not only diverse contents but also applications by offering two-way, mobile, and on-demand contents and services. Finally, this study proposed cable TV is needed to move towards a comprehensive media portal, which is a contents aggregator with the aforementioned business strategies.

A Study on the Customer Relationship Activation based on Service Quality of Internet Shopping Mall (디지털 경영에서 고객관계 활성화를 위한 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempts to find out what kind of service quality is considered important by customers in using the Internet shopping mall and suggests the way to activate the customer relationship. The findings based on empirical analysis are shown here. First, empirical analysis of the contextual factors such as gender, education, and experience levels, shows that what customers perceive as most important in the product purchase is security in terms of the payment and personal information service. The second important service quality factor perceived by customers is responsiveness, particularly the rapidity and accuracy of response to their needs and wants. The customers also considered price, quality and diversity of the product as being important. Furthermore, there is no big difference among other service quality factors. Second, in the different gender context, there is no significant difference between the genders. However, the male group shows an even distribution of factors valued in the service quality, whereas female respondents placed stronger emphases on particular aspects of service, such as security, response, reliability and product quality. Third, in the context of different education level, the payment method between graduates and non-graduates has a significant difference. That is, the non-graduates prefer the credit card and saving through ATM, while the graduates use dual payment method using credit card and another payment method together. Therefore, the various payment methods should be considered according to the customer type, namely graduates or non-graduates. Fourth, in the context of different experience level, the result of the empirical analysis of the factors of the service quality shows no great difference between experienced and inexperienced customers. Both types of customer perceive security as the most important. To sum up, the service quality perceived by the customers of Internet shopping malls is empirically analyzed in different contexts such as gender, education, and experience. Then, the device for the customer relationship activation is suggested. It can be utilized as a guideline for the continuing diffusion of the Internet shopping mall, giving it a competitive advantage against other companies.
