디자이너의 사회적 위치에 따른 디자인 재능기부 참여의향과 영향요인 연구 (Research on 'What Causes Influence on the Inclination to Participation in Design-Talent Donation' : A Comparison between Prospective Designers and Professional Designers)

  • 디자인 재능기부는 새롭게 진화된 사회공헌활동의 한 형태로 디자인이라는 전문적 기술 및 경험을 사회와 나누는 활동을 말한다. 본 연구의 목적은 디자이너의 사회적 위치에 따라 어떠한 요인이 디자인 재능기부에 대한 참여의향에 영향을 주는지 실증적으로 규명해 보는 데 있다. 연구 조사 방법으로 디자인 재능기부에 참여 가능한 잠재적 자원인 디자이너의 역량을 전문 디자이너와 예비 디자이너로 분류하고 각각의 집단에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 설문 조사를 실시했으며, t-test를 활용한 결과 분석을 통해 두 집단 간의 통계적 차이를 검증했다. 분석 결과 전문 디자이너와 예비 디자이너 집단 간 디자인 재능기부 참여에 대한 영향요인 중 개인적 이익에 대한 기대욕구와 사회적 이익을 위한 참여 욕구에서 유의한 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 디자인 재능기부를 통한 기대보상의 유형은 사회적 위치와 유의미한 상관관계가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 디자인 재능기부 참여의향에 따른 영향요인을 통해 사회적 위치에 따른 디자이너의 디자인 재능기부 인식수준의 차이를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 바탕으로 잠재적 재능기부 제공자인 디자이너의 경력에 따라 디자인 나눔 사업의 방향을 세분화해야 한다는 시사점을 보여주었다.

  • 국가경제력은 세계 10위권을 오르내리지만, 세계기부지수는 81위에 불과한 것이 대한민국의 현실이다. 본 논문은 소셜미디어와 퍼네이션(Fun+ Donation)이 국내의 열악한 기부문화를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 핵심 요소로 보고, 이 둘을 결합한 문화 비즈니스 콘텐츠를 제안한다. 가칭 "'우리'가 만드는 스타"는, 소셜미디어를 활용해 대중이 직접 스타가 될만한 신인을 뽑고, 신인들이 자선 콘서트에 참여해 자신의 재능을 성장시키며 동시에 국내 개인기부문화 정착에 앞장서는 새로운 형태의 문화 비즈니스 콘텐츠이다. 이 콘텐츠가 국내 개인기부문화 정착, 다양한 공연문화 생산 및 제공, 국내문화의 세계화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

뷰티디자인의 사회적 책임에 관한 연구 (A study on social responsibility of beauty design)

  • The aim of this study was first to expand participation types in the field of beauty design by examining activities in the field, and second, to seek practical methods for addressing the important issue of social responsibility amid the current pandemic situation. Accordingly, social responsibility in design was examined through a review of previous studies. The features of practice domains and design performance fields were examined comparatively. As a result, it was found that social practices take place in various sectors, with sensibility toward the environment being escalated to a new level in the cosmetics industry. In terms of cosmetics enterprise practices, collecting, recycling, manufacturing, and retail networking has been established to reuse up to 95% of waste resources. Furthermore, ethical responsibility and participation concerning product and service waste resources are recommended, resulting in the supply of eco-friendly products in a virtuous cycle. In terms of systematic policy, even component transformation (such as organic certification and excluding toxic substances) is being carried out. However, it was difficult to identify such responsible activities in Korea; thus, systematic practice is needed. Designers take part in talent donation activities, and it was the sector they prefer the most. However, it is necessary to conduct studies on limitations such as venues equipped with cosmetics procedure equipment and public cosmetics sanitation and make systematic improvement, such that activities can be led with initiative from passive participation.

농촌마을 농특산물 포장디자인 개선을 위한 샤렛 개발 및 효과 - 재능기부디자이너들의 의식변화를 중심으로 - (Development and Effectiveness Analysis of Charrette for Improving Agricultural Product Package Design in a Rural Village - Focusing on the Recognition Changes of Voluntary Designers -)

  • In these days, agricultural products are regarded as a core income source in tourism villages. Nevertheless, poor packaging of agricultural products has threatened the competitiveness and quality of products. For farmers, it is less likely to employ individual designer for developing and improving their packages due to low accessability to rural villages and budgets. Based on this background, this study conducted 'Charrette' in order to improve agricultural product packaging. The target village was 'Goraday' in Gangwon province. This study consisted of different steps for building and implementing proper 'Charrette' programs. Then, it also conducted empirical investigation about the effectiveness and efficiency of 'Charrette'. 'Charrette' has made progress as follows; first step was concerned with advance preparation for constructing program. Second, implementation of 'Charratte' included data collection and analysis, and development of design. Third, evaluation and feedback stage have given presentation and discussion about suggested design with local residents. Empirical investigation about the effectiveness and efficiency of 'Charrette' has been composed with survey and interview targeting participants. In survey and interviews, designers were asked about their attitudinal changes in relation to knowledge, recognition, function, motivation, and satisfaction toward 'Charrette' and 'agricultural product package design' before and after participating the event. The results showed that knowledge and perception of designers toward 'agricultural product package design' have positively increased. In addition, it revealed that designers were satisfied with collaborations with others and their contribution to rural community business. However, the results also suggested that sufficient preparation time/schedules and opportunity to meet other and farmers before events would be required to have better communication and understanding in relation to their tasks and role distribution. Furthermore, it is also required for designers to hold relationship with local community in order to actualize their packaging design.
