Nowadays consumers have begun to have interest in eco-friendliness, and re-design is being highlighted as a fashion alternative for consumers with interest in ethical consumption. This study established the concept of re-design fashion as a way to practice eco-friendly design and analyzed various re-design fashions with four types. And it also analyzed decorative and structural details being often employed for re-design. This study intends to suggest new alternative fashion in order to develop re-design fashion design that can satisfy both eco-friendliness and practicality. The results of the research are as follows: First, according to the result of analyzing re-design fashion types, they can be divided into the types of developing new products through combination of decorative details, combination of structural details, development of new fabric through fabric reconstruction, and reconstruction to different products. Second, according to the result of examining the details that can be used to develop new re-design fashion products, pleats, shirring, tuck, peplum, or tab's decorative details and neck-line, collars, sleeves, cuffs, or pocket's structural details are utilized often. Third, total seven recycled clothes were used to design three works taking decorative and structural details. Through this, the study suggests re-design fashion products that can solve environmental pollution resulted from wastes of clothes.

Humans desire the achievement a of sense of unity between themselves and place to create an identity of place as a realization of his or her sense of belonging. Humans develop ideas from their culture and environment to be expressed physically within the landscape through symbols. Symbols are formed within a place through the structure of the space and, more visually, through the details. The purpose of this paper is to examine the structure of space and the details of 'the Courtyard of the lions' in the Alhambra and to study how the details influence the formation of the identity of place. This paper also compares the structure and details in terms of the meaning of symbols, design languages, cultural, social and historical background and the experience of the place. The structure of the space in 'the Courtyard of the Lions' represents Paradise in the Islamic religion a common theme in the composition of traditional Islamic gardens. The design languages expressed within the structure are order, balance, accent and enclosure; the inherit meanings of the structure are religion, the natural environment and way of life. The details tell of the ideology of Paradise, royalty, nature, and praise of God, while their design languages include physical and visual continuity, accent, variation, the feeling of movement, rhythm, and depth perception. The details also express the historical background of the Dynasty of Nasrid and the style of Mudejar. The name 'the Courtyard of the Lions' was taken from the detail of the lim figures, details within the landscape which are important in building an identity of place. This study demonstrates that the details at 'the Courtyard of the lions' achieved a sense of unity between man and place. In conclusion, details have immense influence in building of the identity of place.

본 논문에서는 기존 패턴캐드시스템 및 드레이핑시스템을 이용한 의복제작과정의 한계점과 개선가능성에 대해 알아보고, 이를 기반으로 새로 디자인한 의복제작시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 원피스, 바지, 셔츠, 재킷 등 옷의 큰 스타일인 의복템플릿으로부터 의복디자인을 시작 한다. 소매, 카라, 포켓, 넥라인과 같은 템플릿 디테일들은 디자이너가 마음대로 다른 세부 템플릿들과 교체할 수 있으며, 세부 템플릿으로 커버할 수 없는 디테일한 수정은 3D 드레이핑 시스템과 2D패턴에디터에서의 직관적인 오퍼레이션을 통해 이루어진다.

환경을 고려하는 제품개발에 대한 시대적 요구는 자연스럽게 그린 디자인 개념을 형성하게 되었고, 이러한 그린 디자인에 대한 관심이 디자인의 가치기준을 근본적으로 변화시켜 나갔다. 또한 소비촉진을 부추겨 환경파괴에 일익을 담당했던 디자인은 환경문제를 고려한 새로운 디자인철학을 바탕으로 환경을 위한 실천노력이 요구되는 시점이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 환경문제를 고려한 실천노력의 하나로 플라스틱을 주요 소재로 사용하는 제품 디자인의 제품설계단계에서 폐기물을 사전에 줄이고, 발생된 폐기물 중 재생 및 재활용이 가능한 재료를 최대한 회수하여 효율적으로 자원화 할 수 있도록 구체적인 재활용 설계방법을 모색해 보았다. 연구의 진행은 재활용 설계 시 고려해야 할 요소를 재료에 관한 문제, 구조에 관한 문제, 2차 가공에 관한 문제로 나누어 진행하였다. 재료의 문제는 플라스틱 재료의 재활용 범위를 검토해보고 재활용을 가능하게 하는 재료의 선택 및 활용방법을 제시해 보았으며, 재활용 재료의 분류를 돕는 재료표시방법에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이어서 구조의 문제를 생산 및 재활용 시 조립과 분해를 용이하게 하기 위한 임시고정구조와 영구 조임 구조의 디테일 설계방법을 정리하였고, 제품완성단계에서 필요한 2차 가공방법이 재활용에 미치는 영향을 검토해 보았다. 이상과 같이 세 가지 연구방향을 토대로 재할용 설계를 위한 종합적 가이드라인을 추출하여 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the garden details of Carla Scarpa in order to understand his selection and composition of materials, detailing style and symbolism of the spaces. Literature review and a field trip were conducted for the study and the results are as follows. First, Scarpa used vernacular materials such as Murano glass and Istrian limestone, and juxtaposed various materials using contrast of color and texture. His mixed uses of traditional and modern materials shows the passage of time. Second, he create his own detail style such as ziggurat and geometric motif, which make the garden space to look more interesting and rich. Scarpa respected local craftsmanship like glass design and used textile design style such as overlaying. Third, symbolic uses of water features help make narrative and poetic gardens. Scarpa's unique detail style and respects for traditional craftsmanship provide lessons on how to interpretate traditional design style in modern garden.

Skin Architecture', which has been an important topic of architectural discourse in the recent past, is playing an even greater role in the design expression of architectural materials nowadays. The purpose of this study is to define the epidermal conception about material matter and to discover the various modes of visual effect in the use of architectural materials.Epidermal thought is expressed in different forms, ranging from a simple covering made up of materials of all kinds , removable or technological wrappings. Analyzing the recent experiments from the works of Bernard chumi, Herzog & de Meuron, Peter Zumthor, Gigon & Guyer , it can be argued that the skin is a good emotional approach in the design expression of architectural material matter as epidermal concept since the 1980's.

This research was focused on jean jacket and jean pant design characteristics in the collection. To offer a basic proposal for the development of jean jackets and pants, pictures of fashion web pages from 2007 to 2011 were used, and data were analysed by the usage of the frequency and percentage of the SPAW Statistics 18. The results of the research were as follows. Men's jackets were mainly medium in length with a tetragonal silhouette and simple detail. On the contrary, women's jackets were mainly of an X silhouette, short in length, and with varied details. Men's jean pants were mainly represented by a straight, comfortable silhouette while women's jean pants were characterized by a variety of silhouettes, fit, and lengths.

This study was aimed at examining the characteristics of women's blue denim on the basis of design elements to provide fundamental data for fashion majors and fashion designers. Seven design elements were selected from previous studies to compare them with the following characteristics of blue denim: color (washing, dyeing), ornamentation (trimming, detailing, painting, and printing), and form modification, tearing, and ripping). Data from 1,520 photographs of the 2019 S/S to the 2023-24 F/W collections were collected through overlapping checks. The data were then subjected to frequency analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (version 26). The results are as follows: The most frequent design method used in producing the denim items in our sample was washing, followed by modification, tearing, and ripping and detailing. The greatest change in denim design occurred in 2023, and more design element changes were observed in the F/W season than in the S/S season. Washing was used four times or more frequently than dyeing, while detailing was employed approximately 2 times more often than trimming. With respect to form, the most common approach was modification, followed by tearing and ripping.
