A Study on the Effects of Visual Merchandising (VMD) Components of Fashion Virtual Reality (VR) Stores on Psychological Benefits of Technology Adoption (패션 가상현실(VR)매장의 비주얼 머천다이징(VMD) 구성요소가 기술 수용의 심리적 효용에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The study analyzed the effect of VMD components of virtual reality (VR) stores on the psychological effectiveness of technology acceptance. As a result of the analysis, among the VMD components of fashion virtual reality (VR) stores, experientiality, aesthetics, and suitability had a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment. There was no significant effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, or perceived enjoyment. The results of this study are significant in that they conducted an empirical study on the intention of use due to the VMD components of a fashion virtual reality (VR) store, which was rarely covered in previous studies on fashion virtual reality (VR) stores.

  • 웹프로그래밍 환경에서 프리젠테이션 로직을 구성하는 서버처리 웹페이지에는 디자인을 위한 HTML 요소와 로직을 구현하기 위한 서버측, 클라이언트측 스크립팅 요소가 혼합되어 있다. 이와 같은 경우 스파게티 코딩에 의해 웹디자이너와 웹프로그래머간의 작업의 경계가 불분명해지고 디자인과 로직의 구성이 정렬되지 못하는 문제점이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 웹페이지의 가독성과 재사용성을 향상시키기 위한 리마커블 코드 분리 모델을 제안한다. 이를 통해 웹페이지 수준에서 HTML 요소와 스크립팅 요소를 완전하게 분리하고 관련 연구와 차별화되는 플랫폼 독립적이고 언어 중립적인 웹페이지 모듈화 과정을 소개하고자 한다.

A Study on Hierarchy Analysis of Design Factors for Product Development Process (신제품 개발과정에 있어서의 디자인요소 분석을 통한 계층화 연구)

  • In this study, in order to achieve the before-mentioned study purpose, the importance of developing the new product, the relationship with the design, and the design element for developing the new product were considered. In order to extract the importance of the design element which is applied to the development of the new product design, the research model about the induction of the priority was created, the evaluation items were instituted, and the demonstrative research approach was performed in order to recognize the relationship among those elements. Firstly, in the process of selecting the items for the application, 14 evaluation elements which were extracted through the advanced study data were grouped in 4 kinds of dimensions, and the properties which are related with the Digital TV product were composed up of 36 items. Through the factor analysis, by decreasing the detailed standard for the evaluation of 36 items, the parsimony was secured, and the characteristics which the various items contain induced into one factor. Secondly, the detailed factors which were united into one factor went under the paired comparison as one by one through AHP again, and then the importance degree was generated. First of all, as the first stage of AHP, the decision making factors which affect the whole achievement of purpose of the decision making were classified as in a hierarchical style. From these research results, it was known that the functional factor and esthetic factor in the process of designing the new product are the major affecting variables, and it was confirmed that in case of the Digital TV products group, the factors such as the high quality of picture, big screen, user interface, sound, product reliability, style, size, indoor reproduction, and guarantee are the main factors which influence the need of the consumers in purchasing products.

  • This study analyzed the web style guide of five foreign university library web sites and extracted the web site components of main university libraries in ten domestic areas and then drew the common factors from the components. This study also found out the unity and rule in the general design trends of university library web sites. In order to do this, the results for the usability and accessibility of university library web sites were applied to this study. And being based on it. this study presents the web style guide components of the university libraries which are the factors to endow the web site with the consistently visual identity.

  • Sign is one of the important factors in city and national image formation, thus requires high level of quality. However, domestic sign emphasize only the sense of attention that leads to big sized signs, thus often results in a poor coordination with the surrounding space. This situation requires employees in sign business want to learn specialized knowledge about design field. Based on these circumstances, we propose sign design software to employees in sign business field as an aid tool that can help to develop good signs in terms of functionality as well as harmony of design. Thus, in this investigation, sign simulation software application case that can design sign and apply this sign to the actual application site is presented. In order to develop this software, literature survey and preliminary studies were performed to analyze the preparation process and environment, and designed sign design element and software elements, user interrace, and finally Java software were utilized. This developed software can be used as a textbook in sign design related departments in schools, and hopefully to enhance the social recognition of sign as well as academic interest.

  • The government is in progress the traditional retail market redevelopment and remodeling due to atrophy of the traditional retail market in accordant to opening of the circulation market and changing of the consuming patterns. However, it seemed that primitive project was limited to the environment improvement scope. As the shopping environment which is comfortable to the consumers is provided and the design which considers a traditional retail market specific quality is applied from business plan early. It will be useful for the management normalization of traditional retail market actually. The spatial factors were analyzed as follows. 1. The circulation of consumer should be secured to make boundary line of the pass way. 2. The display booth should be standardized for the security of sight. 3. The signage panel should be consolidated in according to the plan. 4. The street vendor's handcart and tent should be arranged for circulations and the vision line.

  • Architecture and Film have been interested in each other since 1895. This concern manifests various aspects and is continued up to now. If we examine into detail of relationship between film and architecture, those share the integration of time and space as the art of time and space. Film makes inexpressible time into space by showing the change of space in the issue that is the merger of time and space. Then, this is the issue of movement that compiling element was intervened. And the creative space of film which is the timely expression stimulates the person to experience whole form through spatial experience. Consequently, the architecture as an image maker must be developed through a research about film as an image creator. Also a discussion about film and architecture do not apply one to the other but must be focused on the mutual relationship.

  • This purpose of this study was about the analysis on the dynamic expression of geometric manipulation in interior composition elements. The paradigm of contemporary times became different from paradigm of modern times. The change of paradigm is caused by the side effect of paradigm of pre-times.   • Interactive space became one of the major design paradigms. For elevating the interactive effect in this, we need user-centered design methodology which uses the influential factors on the interactivity. As the second paper of three-linked studies for the interactivity in the interactive space, this research analyzed the interface factors' specific attributes for supporting behavioral participation. 'Interface' is one of three main factors on the interactivity(Intersubject/Interface/Interaction). Its role in the interactive space is to induce or support user's participations which bring the interactive changes into the designs. Qualitative case analysis was the main method and 30 cases were investigated. 'Individual analysis-Transitional description-Generalization' were the progressive steps for case analysis. As final results, 17 attributes for supporting behavioral participation were analyzed.

The Impact of Underlying Attributes of Design Team Members on the Group Creativity (디자인팀 구성원의 내재적 속성이 그룹창의성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Creativity is an essential ability for a successful design task, mainly because design is an activity creating something new. As the sphere of design has expanded and become complex, the design task goes beyond an individual designer's capability. Therefore, it is necessary to organize a design team consisting of various team members with diverse expertises. The aim of this study is to find out the impact of fundamental attributes of members on the group creativity in order to establish a guideline for building a creative design team. Heterogeneous teams and homeogenous teams were created according to three main factors of group creativity namely, personality, field and experience. The group creativity of each team were evaluated through protocol analysis of design activities as well as the comparison of problem solving processes and outputs. It was identified that the impact of design teams on the group creativity was distinctively different in four phases of the design process (preparation, divergence, convergence, and execution) regarding creativity properties such as fluency, elaboration, originality, usefulness. Based on these findings, a schematic model for building a design team in order to enhance the group creativity by composing the most appropriate team members for each phases of the design process was developed.
