Recently, the hotel business requires to secure various client bases and accompany proper marketing and advertising activities for survival and development. Media PPL has been popular as an effective method to meet these requirements. Many studies have been practiced about the effect of media PPL marketing. This study was practiced to confirm the effect of the hotel place marketing using media PPL and the involvement for character in PPL. The following 4 assumptions are established for these purposes. The first confirms the impact relation between media PPL and hotel image. The second confirms whether the involvement for characters in media PPL influences the impact relation between media PPL and hotel image. The third confirms the impact relation between hotel image and purchasing behaviors. And the last confirms whether the involvement for characters in media PPL influences the impact relation between hotel image and purchasing behaviors. In order to analyze the assumptions established for this study, A questionnaires is carried out and factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis are performed with them. According to the results of these analyses, all of 4 established assumptions are partly accepted.

이야기는 그 자체만으로 전달될 수 없기 때문에, 이야기만큼이나 중요한 것은 가공되지 않은 상태의 이야기를 구성지게 전달하는 텔링의 방식이다. 디지털 매체가 발전하고 보다 다양한 전달 방식이 등장하면서 텔링이 더욱 강조되고 이야기보다는 스토리텔링이라는 개념이 주목 받게 되었다. 이 연구는 스토리와 텔링을 구분하는 관점에서, 스토리텔링을 개발하는 작가들의 작업을 분석하고 그들을 도와주는 지원 시스템을 설계했다. 작가의 태스크를 분석하기 위해 본 연구에서는 집필 프로세스에 대해 현업 작가를 인터뷰하고 기존의 writing tool의 기능과 이야기 구조 이론을 참고하여 검토했다. 또한 본 연구에서는 이야기가 흘러감에 따라 변화하는 정보-인물 간 관계, 사실 정보-들을 고려하였다. 작가는 이야기가 흘러가는 매 순간 모든 이야기 속의 사실을 알고 있지만, 독자와 이야기 속의 등장 인물들은 이야기가 흘러감에 따라 작가가 의도하는 순서와 방식으로 사실 정보들을 하나씩 습득하게 된다. 이러한 데이터를 수집/관리하고, 다시 변형하고, 또 유지/보수하는 것이 작가에게 가장 큰 인지적인 부담이기 때문에 이를 지원하도록 노력했다.

Recent Korean popular films and television dramas represent journalist as the character who colludes with corrupt power to engage in scandals or completes one's goals by good or bad means. It matters that the negative discourse of journalists fosters audience's distrust on journalism. Representation of journalists in popular culture is related to the reliability of journalism. In relation, it is noticeable that popular media represent female journalists. This study examines how recent popular films deal with female journalists through the case of (2011) and (2012) to find improvement of discourse on journalists. In result, three female characters in these films represent positively 'reformative leadership' (Chief Cho in ), 'appropriation of information technology'(Seong Hyo Kwan in ), and 'emotional response' (Jang Eun Seo in ). Compared to representation of journalists through male, the positive representation of female journalists constributes to positive discourse on role and function of journalism. However, it may be considered that these positive representations are merely a part of whole journalists.

This study attends to the effects of political entertainment as a newly emerging television genre on citizens' political talk. Particularly, this study suggests audience involvement and political information efficacy as key psychological factors that mediate the relationship between political entertainment and political discussion. More specifically, audience involvement was deemed as a conclusive concept that consists of such sub-dimensions as audience identification and parasocial interaction with program characters and transportation into the messages. Among 317 participants in an online survey, a total of 273 subjects, who had at least some viewing experience with political entertainment TV programs, were included in the final analysis. According to the findings, softer programs that piggyback political information on top of their entertainment content were more likely to increase viewers' identification and transportation. The viewer experience of identification further heightened the level of political information efficacy, which in turn positively contributed to one's willingness to participate in political talk and to hear the other side. It also appeared that political information efficacy significantly mediated the relationship between political entertainment viewing and political talk.

This study focuses on Ko woo-young (1939-2005), a Korean representative cartoonist. I analyzed his work Nolbudyeon (1988), which is a retelling of Heungbu and Nolbu, a traditional Korean story. I consider Ko woo-young a creative observer who has popularized his perspective in modern society. His work is a good example of how a traditional folktale can be made relevant in modern society. I used three methods of adaptation to differentiate Nolbudyeon from Heungbu story: construction of events, characterizing, and space-time background. First, to aid character development, Nolbudyeon includes a prologue that focuses on conflicts between brothers with different personalities. At the same time, the ambiguous ending could be a response to Heungbu story, which has a didactic theme. Second, I found that the new characters, Nolsun and Yeonsaengwon, enhanced the differences between Heungbu and Nolbu by playing the role of mediators. Also, in Nolbudyeon, both Heungbu and Nolbu had positive as well as negative elements, in contrast with the original story's traditional point of view on good and evil. Finally, by exploring the space-time of Nolbudyeon, we can see that its world is combined with the contemporary world. In other words, Nolbu and Heungbu, though outwardly traditional, have a modern outlook. Therefore, readers can recognize that Nolbudyeon is a metaphor for modern life rather than just an old story.

The purpose of this study is to research the costume styles during the Silla(新羅), and Paekje dynasty[百濟] in 'Seodong tale'. In those days, costume form, color, pattern, and ornaments played an important role in representing the differences in social status. The Methodology of this study is reviewing and researching the symbolic meaning and classifying the types of the style of the Costume in 'Seodong tale' through the antique records and tombs bequests and expressing the clothing of the appearance people in the picture. This study is about the costume styles representing the differences in social status during the Silla and Baekje dynasty in 'Seodong tale'. Sedong wore 'Heug Geon(黑巾)' and 'Yu', 'Ko(袴)'. The king of Silla, Jinpyung wore Tree and Antler-typed Diadem and 'Po(袍)' with 'GwaDae(銙帶)' and Earrings, Necklaces, Rings. The servant of Baekje wore 'Eunmhwakwansik[silver crown]' and 'Jangyu' bound the silver belt and 'Ko'. Silla Princess of the court, Seonhwa wore Feathered Trim with Conical hat, and 'Yu' bound the belt and 'SangdongChima' and Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Rings. Sedong's mother's hair style was 'Eonjeunmeori' and wore 'Yu' and 'Ko'. The queen of Baeje, Seonhwa wore 'Keumhwasik[Gold crown]', and 'Po' bound the belt and Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets.

The layout in picture book is a visual statement that arouses children's psychological reaction upon pictorial positions and those disposition, and that indicates a correlation between theme and background and characters' movements. This study firstly confirmed that children's perception and experience are variously formed according to age, past experience, psychological action, physiological impulse, mentality, growth environment, etc., in order to analyze how the pictorial layout in children's picture book has influence on children visually and psychologically. Likewise, visual and psychological perception was carried out targeting on the children between 4 and 7 years old, based on the perceptive specific and process that have been studied by previous researchers. In addition, the children's picture books published overseas or domestically were presented as the related cases, in order that the facts analyzed may be drawn to harmonious and effective pictorial layout. Lastly, it is expected that the conclusion suggested by this study may be of help to illustrators to design picture books individually and creatively, as well as be applied to studying effective expression in the educant who learn about illustration.

The characters' voices in the movie, Rashomon mean the absence of memories created by self-consciousness in order to avoid the crisis. The varying statements of the characters and the three spaces: the space of Nakanimon (th e ruins), the representation space as polyphony (the forest), the egoistic space of truth (the guardian), show the social ills of doubtfulness and mistrust among the Japanese at that time due to the defeat from the war. This matches with the polyphony theory of Mr. Bakhtin, a Russian cultural critic. The key concept of polyphony theory is that the voices that do not accord each other are not harmonized but each voice builds their own world and participates in the novel without being influenced by the creator. This study's aim is to discuss two aspects; Bakhtin's polypony theory allows polyphony film s to function as cinematic composition and spatial characteristics of polyphony films in the movie, Rashomon.

We examines the aspect of dramas delivering Korean culture and literature to the public in the 1950s through the drama (2004). This drama focuses on Myeong-dong and views society and literature in the 1950s. This drama not only introduces ordinary people to viewers realistically, but also helps viewers understand by inserting interviews with researchers. In addition, through the gaze of poet Lee Bong-gu, they connect their literature with different literary people to obtain narrative completeness while helping viewers understand the inner side of the literary people. At the end of the drama, Lee Bong-gu's voice is a meaningful riverside for future evaluations, and it means the result of overcoming the pain of the 1950s with a romantic atmosphere and literary passion. Therefore, the drama "The Count of Myeongdong" is a meaningful text that delivered the literature and cultural landscape of the 1950s to viewers in a popular and sincere manner through the video.

Many scholars exerted efforts to establish archival studies as a specialized academic domain. Two of the most often-quoted leading scholars who worked for the emergence of modern archival studies were English archivist Hilary Jenkinson (1882-1961) and American archivist Theodore R. Schellenberg (1903-1970). As they were published over 50 years ago, their theories were not only applied in various areas, but they also served as important principles in archival practice in the past. Nevertheless, there only exists a few translated books on the prominent archival theories. These studies-which directly focus on their theories or related studies such as comparative studies-lack Korean translations. The objectives of this study are to review Jenkinson and Schellenberg's biography and their professional achievements, as well as to empirically examine and investigate why there were differences in their theories by reviewing the periods they had lived and worked in. To achieve these objectives, the review of their academic and biographical backgrounds was prioritized. Their archival definitions, assessment, roles and perspectives on education as archivists were then compared one by one.
