Comparison of Force Control Characteristics between Double-Rod and Single-Rod Type Electro-Hydrostatic Actuators (II): Back-Drivability (양로드형과 편로드형 EHA의 힘 제어 특성 비교(II): 역구동성)

  • In this study, the back-drivability of the single-rod and double-rod type EHAs (Electro-Hydrostatic Actuators) was compared by computer simulation and experiments. The back-drivability of EHAs exhibit non-linear behavior like their force tracking performance. In case of the double-rod type EHA, the back-drivability was mostly influenced by the bulk modulus of oil that changes with the working pressure due to entrapped air. The back-drivability of the single-rod type EHA was directly affected by the operation states of its pilot-operated check valves, while the asymmetrical piston geometry and the non-linear bulk modulus of oil also made the dynamic response in building up the cylinder pressure dependent on the operating conditions.

  • A DC generator control system was designed to control the torque of a rotating shaft precisely. The control system is composed of a strain gage type torque cell, a torque cell amplifier, a computer, a D/A converter, a error detector, a DC voltage amplifier and a resistor. The response test under unit step input and the dynamic stability test for the designed control system were carried out. It was confirmed that the settling time from the response test is about 4 s and the error from the dynamic stability test is less than 0.06% of rated output of torque cell. The designed control system may be used to control a DC generator which may be used to apply torque to a rotating shaft.

시 최적화 제어기구의 설계방법에 관한 비교연구

  • 이 논문은 제어신호가 이상적인 포화특성을 갖은 제작조건하의 시불변, 선형 제어계의 시최적화 제어기구의 설계이론을 비교 연구하는데 목적을 두었다. 어떤 초기상태에 있는 계를 특정된 최종상태로, 최단시간내에 이행시켜 가는데 요구되는 제어기구의 설계문제는 여러해 동안 흥미있는 연구과제로 학계에 등장되었고 이러한 문제를 처리하는데에는 여러가지의 설계방법이 제안되어 왔다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 최적화 제어기구의 설계 이론중, 상태천이법에 의한 방법, 최대원리의 적용에 의한 방법 및 동적 프로그래밍기법에 의한 방법들을 서로 비교하여 2차계의 시최적화 설계사례에 이들을 적용시킴으로써 그 설계법상의 문제점을 비교 검토하여 보려는데 목적을 두었다. 설계사례 2차계는 시불변, 선형인 것으로 가정하였으며, 초기상태벡터 및 최종상태벡터는 모두 특정된 값으로 지정되고 제어신호는 이상적인 포화특성으로 제약받으며 스윗칭 시간이 유한크기가 아닌 정규형인 경우에 한정시켜 다루었다. 어느 설계이론을 적용시키나 시최적화를 위한 제어측은 단속제어방식으로 결과되었으나, 시최적화 문제의 특수성때문에 최대원리 및 동적 프로그래밍기법의 적용사례에서는 자연경계조건 및 Transversality 조건 등이 스윗칭시간 또는 최종시간을 직접 결정하여 주는 관건은 되지 못하였으며 계통의 상태방정식 또는 보조상태방정식을 구속제약된 양단상태량을 만족하도록 최적에어측을 적용하여 풀므로써 스윗칭시간과 최종시간이 얻어진다. 따라서 어느 한가지 방법의 적용만으로는 수학적인 처리상의 애로는 피할길이 없었으며 Hamiltonian함수의 변화성질을 보조적으로 활용하여 가면 이러한 번거로움이 덜하여 지긴하나, 다루는 계통의 차수가 높을 수록 이러한 수치해를 얻기위한 번거로움은 여간한 험로가 아닌 것으로 생각된다. 결론적으로 이러한 시최적화문제의 설계에는 몇가지의 혼용적용이 바람직하다고 결론된다. 이의 개발에 박차를 가하지 않을 수 없는 것이다.고, 우선 여기서는 당면문제로서 대처하지 않으면 안될 자동주파수제어문제및 계통의 경제운용문제만에 한정하여, 이것을 우리나라의 현상과 관련시켜 개설하고, 이들의 자동화에 관한 기본적인 문제를 간단히 적어 보겠다. 가능하다. 제작완료된 ASIC은 기능시험을 완료했으며 실제 line-of-sight(LOS) 시스템 구현에 적용중이다. 시대를 살아 갈 회원들이다.   • Dynamic model for supersonic engine is proposed to design control law. The model structure is constructed to capture the local characteristics of supersonic and subsonic flow by using conservation equations. To evaluate the stability of control law under the disturbances, the air turbulence model is incorporated with the engine model. The combined model shows analogous results compared to performance analysis model which is good coincidence with CFD results and disturbance effects.

  • In this paper, static and dynamic shift control stategies of CVT speed ratio are suggested. For the static shift control, in order to operate engine on the optimal operating region, a fuzzy control logic is used. In the fuzzy logic, S- factor that is defined as a degree of sportiness is introduced. Simulation results show that the static shift control strategy based on the fuzzy logic selects the optimal operating point automatically between the economy and the sporty mode corresponding to the driver's desire and the driving condition. For the dynamic shift control strategy, a shift speed map is suggested which determines the shift sped as fast or slow based on Δi, the difference between the desired speed ratio id and the actual speed ratio i, and throttle opening. It is seen from the simulation results that the CVT shift speed is determined by the dynamic shift control strategy to provide appropriate performance and comfort for the driver's demand and driving condition. Additionally, experiments are performed to investigate the dynamic performance of the shift speed for the lift foot up. From the experimental results, it is found that improved shift feeling can be obtained by the dynamic shift control strategy when lift foot up occurs.

  • The Steer-By-Wire(SBW) system replaces complex mechanical linkages of the current steering system with electric motors, sensors, and electronic control units. However, the SBW system should guarantee its safety and reliability before commercialization, and therefore, a reliable and robust fault-tolerant technology has to be implemented. This paper proposes a fault-tolerant control algorithm for the SBW system. Based on careful analysis on propagation effects of sensor faults, a reliable fault-tolerant control strategy has been developed. The fault-tolerant controller consists of a fault detection part that monitors and detects faults in the steering wheel and road wheel sensors, and a reconfiguration part that switches to normal sensor signal based on fault detection information. It has been demonstrated by simulation that the proposed algorithm detects sensor faults accurately and enables reliable steering control under various dynamic fault situations.

  • The profiles of on-line sensors such as DO, ORP and pH can provide useful information about pollutant removal reaction in sequencing batch reactor. For detection of denitrification completion, the nitrate hee point from ORP profile has been considered as a main indicator of denitrification completion. However, many researchers pointed out that the nitrate knee usually disappeared been the progress of denitrification is so fast and it makes the fault at detection of denitrification completion. In this paper, dynamic time warping(DTW) method and discriminant analysis were used to detect and isolate the profiles of two cases, denitrification completed and uncompleted. As the results, proposed methods can detect state of denitrification successfully.

  • This paper describes the developed HILS and test equipment in order to test the performances of MMW(Millimeter-Wave) seeker which can detect and track a high speed of short-range ballistic missile and aircraft. This system is used to 141 horn antenna array, array switching, and gain and phase control algorithm to simulate various kind of targets and trajectory of high speed and maneuver moving target. In addition, it simulates not only velocity and range for these targets but also clutter and jamming environments. System configuration and implementation and the measurement results of major subsystems such as target motion simulator, simulation signal generator, high speed data aquisition unit, and central control unit are presented. These systems could verify the detection and tracking performance of MMW seeker through dynamic real-time test based on simulation flight scenario.

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the structural safety of the basic design for the linear actuator for the flap control of aircrafts. The kinetic behavior of the linear actuator was determined using the multi-body dynamics (MBD) analysis, and the contact force was calculated to be used as input data for the structural analysis based on the finite element analysis. In the structural analysis, the thermal and static behaviors of the linear actuator satisfying the designed velocity were examined, and the structural safety of the linear actuator evaluated. Moreover, the dynamic behaviors of the key components of the linear actuator were investigated by the modal analysis. The actuation rod linearly moved with about 5 mm/s when the motor operated at 225 rpm and the maximum contact force of 32.83 N occurred between two driving gears. Meanwhile, the structural analysis revealed that the maximum thermal and static stresses were 1.57% and 78% of the yield strength of steel, respectively, and they were in a safe range of the structure. In addition, the linear actuator for the basic design is stable to the resonance by avoiding the natural frequencies of the components.
