In the ball end-milling process of a 3-dimensional mold, it is important to select cutting conditions and tool path considering the geometrical shape of a workpiece to reduce machining time. In this study, experiments were performed to decide allowable feed rate not breaking stability of system for different geometrical shapes. It was found that downcut is more stable than upcutting in machining side wall and downward is preferable to upward in inclined part depending on the angle of the inclination and depth of cut.

In the dynamic analysis model of full vehicles, the ball joint is usually modeled as an ideal joint. Searching a ball joint, the engineering plastic covers metal and the plastic has little compliance. It is expected that the compliance will physically have an influence on load transfer. This thesis presents a dynamic model considering the compliance of a ball joint, and studies an influence related to load transfer. It models the compliance of a ball joint to 3 directional spring. Likewise, it researches the load of a ball joint via a four-post simulation of a full vehicle, comparing with a model considered compliant and the model of an ideal joint. As a result, the difference between the compliance and the ideal joint model was determined. For this reasons, to conduct precision load prediction for durability analysis, dynamic analysis considering the compliance of bali joint should be required.

Cable domes deform very largely because of the characteristics of flexible hybrid system and pre-tension, and include geometrical non-linearity in those structural behavior. Especially wind load is more dominant than seismic loads, because cable domes are flexible structures whose stiffness is very small and self-weight is very light. Therefore, in this paper, Modified Stiffly Stable Method is applied to analyze the nonlinear dynamic behavior of cable domes and compared these results with ones of Newmark-β Method which is generally used. The Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Arena is taken as an numerical example and three kinds of models with giving each different intensity of pre-tension are selected. And dynamic nonlinear behavior of cable domes are analyzed by artificial spectrum of wind velocity wave which is similar to actual wind loads.

In this paper, a modeling method for the vibration analysis of rotating structures employing multi-reference frames is presented. The geometric stiffening effect that results from centrifugal inertia force is considered. In most previous studies single reference frame has been employed for the analysis. In the present study, a modeling method employing multi-reference frames is presented, and the effects of employing multi-reference frames on the analysis accuracy are investigated through solving numerical examples.

원전 탈기기 저장탱크의 기하학적 구조 및 정상 상태에서의 입출력 흐름율을 고려하여 동적 제어 모델을 설정하고, 적응 추정기를 이용하여 수위 측정 센서의 고장 검출 및 진단 기법을 제안하였다. 영광 3, 4호기의 실제 운전 데이터를 적용하여 제안된 고장 검출 및 진단 기법의 성능을 평가하고 타당성을 검증하였다.

영상기반 렌더링(image-based rendering) 기법은 전통적인 컴퓨터 그래픽 기법과는 다르게 장면 생성 시 복잡한 3차원 정보들을 2차원 영상들의 조합으로 표현하여 렌더링 하는 방법이다. 그 중에서 원통맵을 이용한 렌더링은 파노라마 영상을 이요해 관찰자에게 보다 빠르게 실시간으로 장면을 렌더링하여 보여준다. 이러한 영상기반 렌더링에서도 ㅅㄹ제감을 보다 더 높이기 위해서는 빛과 빛에 의해 생기는 그림자, 하이라이트의 역할이 매우 중요하다. 하지만 파노라마 영상의 경우 미리 촬영된 영상들을 사용하므로 실시간으로 동적인 광원의 변화와 그로인한 그림자와 하이라이트 부분을 표현하기 위해서는 변화된 영상들을 재촬영하여 새로운 파노라마 영상을 제작해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 OpenGL을 이용하여 실내 공간을 표현한 원통 영상 기반 환경 맵에서 광원의 위치변화에 의해 가상 하이라이트 (virtual highlight)의 움직임을 파노라마 이미지의 재 촬영 없이 몇 가지 기하학 정보만으로 계산하여 표현해 주는 방법을 제안한다.

기하급수적으로 증가하는 인터넷의 정보량에서 최적의 정보를 찾고자 하는 사용자의 요구가 증가함에 따라 개별적 사용자에게 필요한 정보만을 제공하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 사용자의 요구를 충족시키기 위해 사용자의 행동을 관찰하고 학습하여 사용자 대신 문서를 수집하는 웹 문서 추천 에이전트의 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 논문에서는 웹 문서 추천에이전트에서 사용되는 프로파일을 효과적으로 생성하고 학습하기 위한 문서 표현 방법, 특징 선택법을 제안한다. 제안된 문서 표현 방법은 슬라이딩 윈도우 방법을 통해 인접한 단어쌍의 문맥 정보를 이용하고, 의존 구조를 이용하며 사용자의 관심 변화에 빨리 적응 할 수 있도록 시간에 대한 가중치를 반영한다. 제안된 방법으로 프로파일을 구성한 웹 문서 추천 에이전트는 사용자의 관심 분야를 효과적으로 반영하고 관심 변화에 빨리 적응하여 사용자에게 알맞은 문서를 추천한다.

자체의 중력 효과를 고려하는 구대칭 완전 유체 전산모사 연구를 위해 일반상대론적 유체역학 코드를 이 분야 연구자들을 위한 공개용으로 개발하였다. 이 코드는 3+1 ADM(Arnowitt-Deser-Misner) 공식과 등방 공간 좌표를 사용하였다. 시공간 기하를 구하기 위해 극한값 썰기 (maximal slicing) 조건과 함께 세 개의 제한 방정식을 풀었고, 시공간을 채우는 물질인 유체는 근사 리만 해법을 사용한 HRSC (high resolution shock capturing) 기법으로 오일러 관찰자 시점에서 풀었다. 이 코드의 수렴성과 정확성을 검증하기 위해 상대론적인 구대칭 충격파 비교 분석, 블랙홀로 빨려 들어가는 상대론적 구대칭 강착, TOV(Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff) 별 및 OS (Oppenheimer-Snyder) 붕괴 코드 테스트를 수행하였다. 특히, 이 코드의 동적 진화 테스트인 OS 붕괴의 경우 해석적인 해와 결과를 비교하기 위하여 좌표변환을 수치 계산으로 수행하였다. 아인슈타인의 일반상대성 이론을 넘어서는 변형된 중력이론 중 하나로 최근 제시된 EiBI(Eddington-inspired Born-Infeld) 이론에서 TOV 별의 해가 일반상대성 이론과 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 살펴 보았고, 그 이론에서도 물질이 붕괴하여 블랙홀을 만드는 경우 특이점이 형성되는지 고찰해 보았다.

정보통신기술의 발전으로 유 무선 인터넷 사용자가 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있는 가운데 무선 인터넷을 이용한 m-Commerce 의 활성화가 기대되고 있다. 이와 더불어 무선 인터넷에서 안전한 m-Commerce를 제공하기 위해서는 다양한 모바일 기기 환경에 맞춘 무선 인터넷 PKI 서비스가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 기기 성능, 네트워크 환경, 서비스 종류, 사용자의 보안 요구 사항에 맞추어 경제학 이론에서 출발한 MAUT(Multi-Attribute Utility Theory)와 간결한 휴리스틱스(Simple Heuristics) 알고리즘을 이용한 보안 등급 프로토콜을 동적으로 결정하는 적응적 보안 정책 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 바탕으로 PKI와 X9.59 기반의 보안 e/m-Commerce를 구축한다.
