As activities and convenience of residents in outdoor spaces in apartment houses have been considered important, strategies for making outdoor spaces in apartment houses healing spaces have emerged as a major interest. The purpose of this study is to draw elements for planning healing to create healing spaces in collective housing areas and to present design guidelines. The findings of this study are as follows. Functional elements of a healing environment were classified into safe environment, therapeutic environment, ancillary environment, orientation-reinforcing environment, amenities, and social environment. Outdoor spaces in collective housing areas were divided into collective housing entrance areas, internal and external spread areas, outdoor activity areas, and areas by theme. First, collective housing entrance areas should be planned in such a manner that residents can feel the area is private and easy to recognize. Second, internal and external spread areas should be planned in such a manner that they are easy to access and communicate with neighbors. Third, outdoor activity areas should be divided into an open space, resting space, playing space, and sports space. Open spaces should be planned in such a manner that they can command a fine view and respect the privacy of nearby residents. Resting spaces should be equipped with a shelter that protects users from direct sunlight, rain, and snow as well as include a movable bench. Playing spaces should be built considering development of children's curiosity, adventurous spirit, character, stimulation, and physical health. Playing spaces should be designed in such a manner that roadways and sidewalks can be separated for safe traffic. Sport spaces should be planned in such a manner that they can be associated with a pavilion and trail that provide residents with an opportunity to communicate with each other and rest. Fourth, spaces by theme are classified into sense garden, therapeutic garden, experiential garden, and learning garden. Sense gardens are a small garden based on the five senses. Sense gardens should be designed in such a manner that they can improve users' mental and physical health through programs that stimulate the sense of sight, auditory sense, and olfactory sense. Therapeutic gardens should be designed in such a manner that they can provide a comfortable and relaxing space by minimizing noise. It is advisable for therapeutic gardens to be equipped with a medicinal herb garden, meditation garden, and sense garden. Experiential and learning gardens should be designed in such a manner that they can provide users with a space in which they can enjoy nature and leisure activities. It is advisable for experiential and learning gardens to be equipped with a tea garden, vegetable garden, and camping garden. Healing programs should be designed in such a manner that users can feel relaxed by providing a healing environment, making the most of the natural environment. Further research on evaluating whether the findings of this study are effective in healing in a qualitative and quantitative manner is needed.

서울시 강남구청은 지난12월 대치동에 세워질 구민회관 및 구의회청사신축 현상공모를실시하여 명종합건축(대표:김명화)안을 당선작으로 선정하여 발표하였다. 총27점의 작품이 응모된 이번 현상공모에는 당선작외에 예종합건축(대표:김상경)안이 우수작으로 선정되었으며, 건원국제종합건축(대표:이대형)안이 가작으로 선정되었다. 당선작으로 선정된 명종합건축(안)은 서측의 35m도로를 주 진입로로 하고 부지 앞쪽에 개방된 오픈 스페이스를 구성하여 출입을 자연스럽게 접근토록 하였으며, 주민들의 문화활동과 교육,복지를 위한 구민회관을 저층부에 두고 고층부에는 구의회를 위치토록 분리계획하여 동선과 기능의 명확성이 우수한 평가를 받았다. 본지에서는 당선작과 우수작 및 가작을 게재코자 한다.

The SWATH concept hull form which is capable of high speed navigation with small oscillatory motions in waves, was developed from the catamaran type hull forms. This paper describes how the motion of a SWATH ship in irregular waves can be reduced by regulating the stabilizing fins. The optimal regulator and LQG (Linear Quadratic Gaussian) controller for vertical plane motion have been applied for both platforming mode and contouring mode controls. The calculations of hydrodynamic coefficients and external forces are possible for defining the system equation for the design purpose of motion control. Performances of the controlled system are compared with those of original system.

본 논문은 기존 기발된 재실자의 탈출 계획 및 예측 프로그램 개발에 대해 길 찾기를 위한 알고리즘으로는 Dijkstra 알고리즘, Best-First Search 알고리즘, Johnson 알고리즘 등이 있으며 가장 안정적으로 알고리즘 구현이 가능한 A*알고리즘을 적용하였다. 따라서, 본 개발 프로그램은 재실자가 대피 목적지를 향한 최적의 길 찾기를 이용하여 가장 가까운 거리에 있는 탈출구를 효율적으로 찾을 수가 있으며 재실자의 사실감 있는 대피 이동 동선의 구현을 위해 기존의 경직된 경로를 매끄럽게 구현하였다. 탈출구는 흐름율과 정체 반경을 적용하여 재실자가 탈출구에 밀집하였을 경우 병목 현상이 발생하도록 하여 대피현상이 실제 상황과 유사하도록 프로그램을 구축하였다. 본 대피프로그램은 실제 건물의 CAD도면을 import 가능하도록 구축함으로서 대피평가시간을 절약할 수 있도록 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the interior improvement of department store would affect costumers' behavior The marketing field that is aimed to maximize consumption is required to recognize the strategy about the environment that promotes consumption and products values. The places where to appear intensively and largely are department stores; they have to Provide diverse kind of products, services, and pleasant circumstances for shopping. Therefore, the goal of this research is based on studying customers behavior that is distinguished cause in selling space in the department store. First, to notice the meaning of consumption to the modern society, secondly, to analyze how customers behave differently according to various shape of selling spaces, thirdly, with precise understanding of buyers consumption behavior, to suggest the fundamental information In department merchandizing planning for maximized selling.

The first object of this study is to clarify the newly demanded service to the visiter in the museum. And the second is to consider the spatial configuration on the layout of exhibition and the shape of exhibition room from the view points of behavior of appreciation and other methodology. The results of this study are as follows : The exhibition content and structure of Seoul Museum of History formed by a story-line according to the theme of an each zone fixed sequence in an each exhibition that we are achieved. But the layout of exhibition and the shape of exhibition consist on the other hand of the freedom selection. So the problem appeared In the difference of the exhibition content and the layout of exhibition to the behavior of appreciation. It can be said that the concept of exhibition space should be taken into account and the spatial configuration by the completed floor plan in order to satisfy the planning concepts.

In order to evaluate the clinical features of the rcurred patients with temporomandibular disorders, 52 patients were subjected at the Dept. of Oral Medicine, PNUH from 1985 through 1996. As related to gender, duraton and diagnosis, Ll the relate factors-multiple diagnosis, emotinal problem, history of treatment, parafunctional habit, life distrubance, and trauma were analyzed. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The patients with multiple diagnosis were 83 percent and more often seen in women, chronic group and muscle-joint disorder group. 2. Duration of retreatment in chronic group and muscle-joint disorder was longer. 3. The patients with oral parafunctional habits were 89 percent and more often seen in women, chronic gorup, muscle-joint disorder group. 4. the Recurred patients showed 46 percent in history treatment, 42 percent in life distrubances, 39 percent in macrotrauma and 12 percent in emotional problem.

This research tried to observe transition quality of unit plan for public space Korea public operated house since the 1950s. Plane of public-operated house had continually accommodated lifestyle change until present from the late 1950s. "Frontward 3 urface unit 3LDK'composition plans become settle by the representative plane after the 1990s. The process that with special quality change of public space the relation is deep. it is proposed consequently to analyze the space special quality change of the public operated house unit plan style.

In this paper, we propose the model to measure and compare the performances of the Linux, PC_Solaris and FreeBSD which are the heterogeneous PC based UNIX kernels connected by network. Using the stop-watch timer with the $mutextrm{s}$ unit, we measure the important performance indices of UNIX kernels which are the primitive and command execution time and disk I/O time. Also we measure the message transfer time using the TCP, UDP and RPC methods to compare the network performance of UNIX kernels. And we compare the performance of NFS for each UNIX kernels. And we display the measured data on internet.

Volumetric mass transfer coefficient was measured with carbon dioxide and deionized water for the gas-liquid cocurrent slug flow in 2, 5 and 8 mm tubes. Measurement was repeated with and without a vertical section in an experimental setup and entrance effect was found greater for smaller tubes. Volumetric mass transfer coefficient in the vertical section was found generally a strong function of gas- and liquid-phase superficial velocities. 5 mm- and 8 mm-tube data are highly consistent each other but not with 2 mm tube.
