The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the fit between innovation strategy and firm characteristics on innovation performance. We conducted surveys for venture companies in the Southeast region, The results of multiple regression analysis based on 135 questionnaires are as follows : First, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and social network level, the higher the innovation performance. Second, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and management control system level, the more positive effect on innovation performance. Finally, the higher the fitness between innovation strategy and innovation culture, the higher the innovation performance. This result implies that the enterprise characteristics should be designed and operated in accordance with the innovation strategy implementation.
Ion concentrations and osmolarities of the body fluid and oxygen consumption of the larvae of the freshwater crab, Eriocheir japonicus under the influence of various salinities and water temperatures were studied. The levels of $Na^+\;and\;Cl^-$ ions in the body fluid of the crab placed in the low salinities (freshwater and $30\%$ seawater) were higher at the low temperature $(16^{\circ}C)$ than high temperature $(30^{\circ}C)$. However, the crab in the high salinity $(90\%\; seawater)$, those ions in the body fluid were higher at the high temperature $(30^{\circ}C)$ than the low temperature $(10^{\circ}C)$ When the zoea larvae were young (first and second stages), the ion concentrations of the body fluid were more affected by salinities and temperatures of the media. The salinity levels of the media more influenced the levels of $K^+$ ions of the body fluid of the larvae than the temperature. The osmolarities of the body fluid of the larvae were almost isotonic when they were placed at $70\%$ seawater $(24.5\%o)$. Oxygen consumption of individual larva was lower in zoea 1 and 2 stages than the other stage larvae. The high oxygen consumption of the larvae was observed at $70\%$ seawater compared to the other salinity levels.

In July 2021, UNCTAD classified Korea as a developed country. After the Korean War in the 1950s, economic development was promoted despite difficult conditions, resulting in epoch-making national growth. However, in order to respond to the rapidly changing global economy, it is necessary to continuously study the domestic industrial ecosystem and prepare strategies for continuous change and growth. This study analyzed the industrial ecosystem of the automobile industry where it is possible to obtain transaction data between companies by applying complexity spatial network analysis. For data, 295 corporate data(node data) and 607 transaction data (link data) were used. As a result of checking the spatial distribution by geocoding the address of the company, the automobile industry-related companies were concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area and the Southeastern(Dongnam) region. The node importance was measured through degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and eigenvector centrality, and the network structure was confirmed by identifying density, distance, community detection, and assortativity and disassortivity. As a result, among the automakers, Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, and GM Korea were included in the top 15 in 4 indicators of node centrality. In terms of company location, companies located in the Seoul metropolitan area were included in the top 15. In terms of company size, most of the large companies with more than 1,000 employees were included in the top 15 for degree centrality and betweenness centrality. Regarding closeness centrality and eigenvector centrality, most of the companies with 500 or less employees were included in the top 15, except for automakers. In the structure of the network, the density was 0.01390522 and the average distance was 3.422481. As a result of community detection using the fast greedy algorithm, 11 communities were finally derived.
In order for a company to grow through technological innovation, technological innovation capacity to support technological innovation is more important than anything else. In addition, the technology commercialization process can not be ignored in order to lead to the improvement of the business performance. In this context, this study analyzed the impact of firm's technological innovation capacity on business performance and tried to analyze whether technological innovation capacity has a moderating effect on technological innovation capacity. To analyze the purpose of this study, we collect data through questionnaires of small and medium venture companies located in the southeast region of korea. The results of multiple regression analysis based on 132 collected company survey data are summarized as follows. First, Technology innovation capacity has a positive effect on business performance. Specifically, companies with well-equipped R&D capabilities, technology accumulation capabilities, and technology innovation systems showed higher business performance(market competitiveness, business growth potential, and business profitability). Second, technology commercialization capacity has a positive effect on the effect of technological innovation capacity on business performance. This result implies that a company with a good technical commercialization capability increases the positive influence of technological innovation capacity on business performance. The results of this study suggest that it is important to systematically manage the technology commercialization capacity in order to generate business performance through technological innovation.

This research is concerned with the current state and uniqueness of Vietnam's Fair Trade through the case study of Fair Trade Organizations (hereafter FTOs) in Vietnam. Vietnam has emerged a successful developing country with rapid economic growth under the socialist regime, while the income gap between the rich and the poor is still growing. Especially the poverty is becoming a serious issue for ethnic minorities and smallholder farmers in the mountainous areas. Fair Trade in the early stage has been initiated, and still is led by the charities and international development agencies of the Global North. But Vietnam's Fair Trade has been introduced by local Vietnamese who have been motivated to solve their own problems voluntarily. This is different from other Fair Trade producing countries in the Global South. It's noticeable that Vietnam's FTOs are playing a significant role of adopting and applying Fair Trade practices. Concerning Fair Trade producing countries the researchers are mostly focusing on Africa and Latin America and the themes are mainly to do with the impact of Fair Trade producers. There are very few research outcomes on the analysis of producing countries' FTOs and their motives and developing processes. The research findings can contribute to understand not only Vietnam's challenges and issues, but also Fair Trade producing countries in general.
This article explores why the two Southeast Asian countries, Vietnam and the Philippines, choose different strategies to cope with the Chinese threat. Despite the evident Chinese threat in the South China Sea, Vietnam has not meaningfully expanded the military cooperation with the United States, whereas the Philippines, ironically, has distanced itself with its ally, the United States. Existing studies on the topic does not offer a satisfactory explanation. We assign that two cases are examples of "underbalancing" - the failure of balancing even though there is an evident threat. Furthermore, we demonstrate the difference between cases of the Philippines and Vietnam by arguing that the number of veto players affects the outcome of foreign policy, underbalancing of two countries. The Philippines has only one veto player, the president, hence its response to external threats is incoherent. On the other hand, the number of veto players in Vietnam is more than one and those players demand negotiation among them on the matter of foreign policy. Upon analyses on two cases we argue that the former is the case of underbalancing caused by a lack of policy stability, while the latter is the case of underbalancing caused by a lack of policy responsiveness.

The spot weldability of dissimilar metal joints between austenitic stainless steels (STS316)/IF steels and ferritic stainless steels (STS430)/IF steels was investigated. This study was aimed to determine the spot welding parameters for a dissimilar metal joint and to evaluate the dissimilar metal joint's weldability, including its welding nugget shape, tensile-shear strength, hardness, and microstructure. The comparison of these results was described in terms of fracture behavior. Compared with the weld lobe of similar metal joints, dissimilar metal joints (STS430/IF) had reduced weld current range. However, the weld lobe of STS316/IF steel joint showed increased weld current range. This is because the dilution of chemical composition in the molten weld pool suppressed the heat input being caused by Joule heat with current flow through the samples. The microstructure of the fusion zone was fully martensite and mixture of ferrite and martensite for austenitic stainless steel/IF steel and ferritic stainless steel/IF steel combination, respectively. The experimental results showed that the shape of nugget was asymmetric, in which the fusion zone of the austenitic and ferritic stainless steel sheet was larger due to the higher bulk-resistance. The predicted microstructure by using the Schaeffler diagram was well matched with experimental results. After peel test, the fracture was initiated from heat affected zone of ferritic stainless steel sheet side, however the final fracture was propagated into the IF steel sheet side due to its lower strength.
Apartments with a southern exposure are often thought to have advantages in receiving winter sunlights and summer natural ventilation. However, as due-south-apartments increase recently, the consideration for residential environment for households with no southern exposure is necessary. In case of due-south-apartments, residents prefer east-sided apartments than west facing apartments which might receive more hot sunlight in the afternoon; however in case of west-oriented apartments with active ventilation, the interior area is bright until late afternoon without unpleasant heat and has advantage in light environment aspects. This study aims to compare and analyze merits and demerits of air flow and sunlighted environment of buildings through sunshine duration simulation using CFD simulation ad sunlights about southeast-sided and southwest-sided apartments based on general opinions for apartment directions. As results of the interior natural ventilation analysis, as the average air flow speed in southwest-sided apartments was 1m/s faster than that of southeast-sided, it has effects of lowering sensory temperature of residents in summer, and for sunlighted environment, southwest-sided apartments are advantageous for sunlighted area for duration time inside. As a result of the research, the calculation of physical residential environment of apartment residential space should be reached through integrated evaluation of natural ventilation and sunlighted time from placement and facing direction of the buildings considering characteristics and environment of each apartment, not based on general opinions.
Geographically Korea is located near the Southeast Asia and her volume of trade with countries in this region is just next those with America and japav. It is also true, however, that we do not have enough data for the region even though there have been increasing investments and travels from Korea to countries in the region in recent years. Especially, the same is true of the design it may be safely said that we have been indifferent. The purpose of this study is to suggest new design translation ways to find new markets in the Southeast Asian counties, probably away to break off with the so- called IMF era competing with those countries ranging from the Design Powers of European countries, america, and Japan to those countries that have long held markets in the region -Hongkong, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Singapore. Seemingly, markets in the Asian countries would be good means for us to complete our policy of the internationalization or globalizatiov. As the region has more various races, cultures, customs, and historical backgrounds than any other countries or regions in the world, not only general political and economical situations based on each one's history and culture are reviewed but also construction markets in the Southeast countries, one of barometers for modernization, examined with a view to suggesting means to develop interior design manpower to be more competitive than the counterpart of the advanced counties. The 21st century will be of design culture without fail. Through our design history is relatively short, we have and proud of the five - millennium long history which is just individual source of the creativeness and aesthetics to lead the design field in the world with god competitiveness.

Various types of steel, namely, 0.35C, 0.2C-Cr, and 0.2C-Cr-Mo steels, were quenched and tempered by high-frequency induction heat treatment. The type, size, and spheroidization of the carbides varied depending on the tempering temperatures ($450{\sim}720^{\circ}C$). During the tempering process, the carbide was precipitated in the martensite matrix. The 0.35C, 0.2C-Cr, and 0.2C-Cr-Mo steels contained carbides that were smaller than 120 nm. The carbide was spheroidized as the tempering temperature increased. Owing to the fine microstructure and spheroidization of the carbides, all three steels had a high tensile strength as well as yield ratio and reduction of area. In the case of the 0.2C-Cr steel, the use of Cr as an alloying element facilitated the precipitation of alloyed carbides with an extremely small particle and resulted in an increase in the spheroidization rate of the carbides. As a result, a large reduction of area was achieved (>70%). The 0.2C-Cr-Mo steel had the highest tensile strength because of the high hardenability that can be attributed to the presence of alloying elements (Cr and Mo). Quenching and tempering steels by induction heat treatment resulted in a high strength of over 1 GPa and a large reduction of area (>70%) because of the rapid heating and cooling rates.
