Effect of Tillage and No-tillage of Winter Green Manure Crops on Yield of Red Pepper in Plastic Film House (비가림하우스 동계 녹비작물의 경운과 무경운이 고추 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향)

  • To determine the effect of winter green manure crops for tillage and no-tillage organic pepper cultivation in plastic film house, five different green manure crops were cultivated during winter season. In nutrition composition of green manure crops, total nitrogen contents were higher in Vicia hirsuta and Vicia angustifolia than any other crops. The average dry weights of green manure crops were 8.3 ton per ha in tillage and 7.0 ton per ha in no-tillage, among green manure crops that of Secale cereale was the highest. Fertilizer supply was depended on the biomass of the cultivated green manure crops and nutrition contents, total nitrogen supply of V. angustifolia was 226 kg and that of S. cereale was 251 kg per ha in tillage field. In no-tillage field, N-supply of V. angustifolia was 197 kg and that of S. cereale was 222 kg per ha. In yield components of red pepper, fruit numbers per plant were 55.5 in green manure crop tillage and 37.0 in no-tillage cultivation. Among green manure crops, the yield of dried red pepper was the highest for V. angustifolia in both green manure crop tillage and no-tillage cultivation.

  • 대체에너지 바이오연료 "유채" 최근 온실가스의 대량배출로 인한 지국온난화 문제해결과 더불어 고유가 시대의 대체에너지로 부상하고 있는 바이오연료(바이오디젤를 생산할 수 있는 유채에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 유채는 동계작물로 종자의 약 40~45%가 기름성분이며, 지방산 중 올레인산이 많이 함유되어 바이오디젤 생산에 적합한 식물로 겨울철 유휴농지를 활용하여 재배하면 농가소득과 더불어 농촌경제 및 관련 산업의 활성화에도 도움이 될 것이다. 유채는 파종시기와 방법 및 파종 후 관리여부에 따라 생산량의 차이가 심하므로 생산량의 증대를 위해서는 파종시기의 재배법을 잘 숙지하여 재배한다.

Comparison of Forage Yields and Growth of Summer Forage Sorghum, Proso millet and Japanese millet according to Cropping System with Winter Forage Barley (동계 사료작물 보리와 하계 사료작물 수수, 기장 및 피 작부방식에 따른 생육과 조사료 생산량 비교)

  • This study was carried on comparison of forage yields and growth of cropping system as forage (winter & summer) in Cheonan 2015~2016. The species of forage crop used were Barley (cv. Youngyang), Sorghum (cv. SX17), Proso millet (domestic) and Japanese millet (cv. Jeju). Plant height is the lowest when harvested in lough stage than in the harvests of all summer crops. The dry matter yield of lough stage was 1,343 kg/10a in barley. Looking at the dry matter according to cropping systems, the sorghum was higher at 10,018 kg when harvested at the lough stage than at the harvest. Dry matter of Proso millet and Japanese millet also had higher at the lough stage than at other harvest times. ADF content of sorghum was lower than that of harvesting, but Proso millet and Japanese millet showed higher ADF content in lough stage. The NDF content of the three crops was higher than that of the harvests, and crude protein content was higher in harvest than that of at lough stage. Total production of crude protein against dry matter yield was about 761 kg when sorghum was harvested at lough stage. There was no difference in the content of TDN among three crops according to harvesting time.
