Cephalanthera erecta var. oblanceolata N. Pearce & P. J. Cribb (Orchidaceae), previously known only from Bhutan, was first recorded in the lowland of Gyeonggi-do, Whaseong-shi, Seosin-myeon. This taxon is distinguished from Cephalanthera erecta by characteristics such as oblanceolate dorsal sepal and lateral petals, lanceolate lateral sepals, and simple, oblanceolate lip without spur. The vernacular name was newly given as 'Min-eun-nan-cho', based on the lip without spur. The morphological characteristics and illustrations of the taxon are provided along with its photograph.

Ixora auricularis (Rubiaceae), previously recognized as endemic to Yunnan (China), was reported in Vietnam. This plant differs from the closely related species Ixora coccinea in its auriculate shape of the base leaf, greater number of secondary veins, shorter stipules, calyx having more appendices, shorter corolla tube, and the oblanceolata shape of the corolla tip. Detailed information about its description as well as illustrations, color photographs and a species key of related species of Ixora in Vietnam are provided.

This study explored the motivation for adolescents to watching games and analyzed the relationship between motivation, satisfaction, and intention to use. The study surveyed 274 middle and high school students, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, five motivations for adolescents to watching games were extracted: 'Acquire Information', 'Social Relations/Multitasking', 'Gamer/Creator Preference', 'Escape/Habit', and 'Vicarious Satisfaction/Fun'. Second, 'Vicarious Satisfaction/Fun' motivation influenced the satisfaction and the intention to use of game. Lastly, Groups based on usage showed differences in motivation. The findings could be used as data to explore the factors of adolescents's game motivation and viewed the game markets.

Theoretical analysis is carried out for the curtoff wavelength characteristics of rectangular waveguide containing a step-ridge. In order to obtain the cutoff wavelength of step-rigde waveguide, an transmission matriz is formulated by the method of equivalent transverse resonance. The characteristic equation, in which the wavelength is obtainable by the numerical method, is derived from the equation. An approximate determination of the dominant mode fields in step-ridge waveguides at all frequencies has been made. Using these fields, the characteristic impedance equation is derived from power considerations. Analyzing the results of the calculations, the following characteristics are noted. The values of λ /a of TE10 mode increase with decreasing gap lengths and with increasing step width S or S , or both. Experimental results of cutoff characteristics are in good agreement with the theoretical analusis. It is shown that a waveguide within which a step-ridge is placed has a lower cutoff frequency and impedance than empty guide without it. Therefore, the role of a step-ridge guide is to broadening the bandwidth 2 to 3 times more than that of an empty guide of the same demension.

Soft-tissue deficits over the plantar forefoot, plantar heel, Achilles tendon, and distal parts of lower leg are often troublesome to cover with a simple graft or local flap due to limited mobility of surrounding skin and poor circulation in these area. Soft-tissue reconstruction in these regions should provide tissue components similar to the original lost tissue, supply durability and minimal protective pressure sensation and result in a donor site that is well tolerated and treated. We analysed 7 cases that were treated with the Instep flap due to soft-tissue defects over these regions from July of 1990 to July of 1993. All flaps were viable and successful at follow-up. 1. The age ranged from 9 years to 60 years, and 6 cases were male and 1 case female. 2. The sites of soft-tissue loss were the plantar forefoot(1 case), plantar heel(3 cases), Achilles tendon(2 cases), and distal parts of lower leg(1 case). 3. The causes of soft-tissue loss were simple soft-tissue crushing injury(1 case), crushing injury of the 1st toe(1 case) and posttraumatic infection and necrosis(5 cases). 4. The associated injury were open distal tibio-fibula, fracture(2 cases), medial malleolar fracture of the ankle(1 case), Achilles tendon rupture(2 case) and 1st metatarso-phalangeal disarticulation(1 case). 5. The size of flap was from $3{\times}4cm$ to $5{\times}10cm$(average $4{\times}5.6cm)$. 6. In 7 cases, we were not to find post-operative necrosis and infection, non-viability, limitation of ankle joint, and gait disturbance caused by the Instep flap surgery. 7. This study demonstrates that the Instep flap should be considered as another valuable technique in reconstruction of these regions.

Beside fire resistance, for Phenolic Composites(here-in-after PCs), in actual, moisture resistance are also needed when they are applied to components in wet uses such as in Naval vessels and in off-shore operations where direct water contact may be expected. PCs have so-called 'Micro-porous' when they are made by normal GRP manufacturing techniques, which causes much larger amounts of water absorption in them to higher level of around $7\%$. So, this figure, which indicate impending disaster in a polyester matrix laminate, has made some specifiers suspicious of the effect of the water on mechanical performance of PC in 'wet' service. To solve this problem, a large amount work has been carried out by workers in UK and US. This paper is an attempt to explain that the effect of the high water absorption of PCs is not the disaster that some 'prophets' may foretell. Let's open our next door fur better society much safetyfied by our own efforts with PCs. like in UK.

The relaxation response is a state of profound rest, creates physiological responses directly opposite to the stress response. The relaxation response can be used to counteract the harmful effects of stress. The relaxation response can be elicited by a number of techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, autogenic training, biofeedback, etc. These relaxation methods in any mental or physical conditions associated with distress and even in normal people have useful benefits for stress control and health enhancement. These relaxation techniques are but one part of a comprehensive stress management program, through regular and continuous practice appropriate for each person, they will make an effective role in stress management. In this review, author reviewed how to practically use meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and autogenic training, in more detail. In the treatment of various stress-related disease, especially in psychiatric disorders, the relaxation technique may be a useful complement to conventional treatment and serves as an intervention between stress and disease.

The fish behavior survey in the main-net of a large scale-net was carried out in relation to the catching function of the set-net. at Kishihata set-net in Japan during the period from January 29th to February 22th 1992. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. The greatest number of schools observation in the main-net occurred between 17 : 00hrs and 18 : 00hrs. after which the schools suddenly disappeared. This result show that the schools did not stay in the main-net. but immediately moved through into the bag-net or left the main-net. 2. The course of movement of the small schools of sardine in the main-net was in a straight line to the slope-net. However. upon arrived at the slope-net the school turned around. away from the slope-net and went directly towards the playground. 3. The majority of small schools of sardine in the main-net were estimated to move with the mode velocity 25cm/sec. however the maximum velocity were recorded 80cm/sec.

The paper examines migration and settlement process of the Ulleung Island residents. On the theoretical side, this paper analyzes migration and settlement process of the Ulleung Island residents in relation with a social, cultural, and political phenomenon of that island. And on the methodological side analyzes this paper historical literatures and output materials of field work. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, this paper approaches the issue on three dimensions. First, this article pursues the movement course of the Ulleung Island residents in the early Gaecheokryoung era. Second, it follows up their settlement process. Third, it tries to find out the factors of the population increase and decrease. The findings are as follows: The factors of migration of Ulleung Island residents are following three - first, social and political motive, second, economical motive, and third, criminal motive. The immigrants with these motives have constituted a unique society on the Ulreung Island.

This study analyzed the process of mourning for aging in the film 'Miss Granny' in a convergent method. In exploring the contents of the movie repeatedly and interpreting the feeling of loss of old age in aging process as mourning process, I explored them in a psychoanalytic way. In other words, in a psychoanalytic method, I analyzed the aging process as a process of reinterpreting life and the change in developmental attitude toward the future life as a psychological world of mourning. The results of the study show that the process of mourning follows 'loss and deficiency', 'escape and regression', 'disidentification and decentralization', and 'adaptation to the new reality'. Based on these results, this research suggests that the counselor should not only focus on creating a psychological mood environment so that the client's mourning work will be smooth, but also should be able to use a complex counseling technique to improve the mental ability of the client.
