웨이브렛 패킷 변환을 이용한 적응알고리듬의 수렴속도 향상 (Enhancement of Convergence Speed of Adaptive Algorithm using Wavelet Packet Transform)

  • 최근 들어 신호처리 분야에서 웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웨이브렛 변환 영역에서의 적응 알고리듬을 구현하고 비 정제적 신호에 대한 성능을 평가하였다. 입력 신호를 웨이브렛 패킷 변환하여 다해상도 분해하고 NLMS알고리듬을 이용하여 부 밴드에서의 적응 알고리듬을 구현하였다. 제안한 방법을 화이트 가우시안 잡음이 섞인 도플러 신호의 잡음 제거에 적용하여 그 성능을 평가하였다.

도플러 속도계(DVL)를 위한 광대역 수중 음향 트랜스듀서 (Broad-Band Underwater Acoustic Transducer for Doppler Velocity Log)

  • A broad-band underwater acoustic transducer that uses thickness vibration mode, derived from a disk type piezoelectric ceramic, has been proposed and designed for DVL (Doppler Velocity Log). Three different types of acoustic transducer were evaluated with respect to the transmitting voltage response, receiving voltage sensitivity and bandwidth of the transducer. The effect of the acoustic impedance matching layer and backing layer is discussed. The results demonstrated that three matching layer with lossy backing layer is the best configuration for underwater transducer. The trial underwater acoustic transducer with three matching layer has a frequency bandwidth of 55%, maximum transmitting voltage response of 200 dB and a maximum receiving voltage sensitivity of -187.3 dB.

무인잠수정의 수중합법을 위한 센서융합 (Sensor Fusion for Underwater Navigation of Unmanned Underwater Vehicle)

  • In this paper we propose a sensor fusion method for the navigation algorithm which can be used to estimate state vectors such as position and velocity for its motion control using multi-sensor output measurements. The output measurement we will use in estimating the state is a series of known multi-sensor asynchronous outputs with measurement noise. This paper investigates the Extended Kalman Filtering method to merge asynchronous heading, heading rate, velocity of DVL, and SSBL information to produce a single state vector. Different complexity of Kalman Filter, with. biases and measurement noise, are investigated with theoretically data from MOERI's SAUV. All levels of complexity of the Kalman Filters are shown to be much more close and smooth to real trajectories then the basic underwater acoustic navigation system commonly used aboard underwater vehicle.

초음파 펄스 도플러 속도계의 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement in Performance of Ultrasonic Pulsed Doppler Velocimeter)

  • In the velocimeter, the ultrasonic pulse signal is used for measuring the profile velocity of moving targets distributed in space because of the merits of its high distance resolution and harmless affect to the human body. The velocity reading in conventional ultrasonic pulsed velocimeter depends on the wave pattern reflecting the spatial distribution of scatters and includes observational error due to the signal processing of analyzing pulse signal. In this paper, we evaluate an influence of the received waveform of pulsed signal on the velocity information by setting a model. Subsequently, in order to improve the distance resolution and to obtain precise velocity information without the influence of the spatial distribution of scatterers, we propose a new method for the analysis of Doppler pulsed signal, in which the pulsed signal is transformed into a phase function with local data. Finally, it is confirmed that the performance of the velocimeter is more improved in the proposed method than in the conventional one.

해저설치형 음향도플러유향유속계를 이용한 음향산란층의 연직이동속도 측정 (Measurement of vertical migration speed of Sound Scattering Layer using an bottom mooring type Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler)

  • This study shows that the vertical migration speed of sound scattering layers (SSLs), which is distributed in near Funka Bay, were measured by 3D velocity components acquired from a bottom moorng ADCP. While the bottom mooring type has a problem to measure the velocity vectors of sound scattering layer distributed near to surface, both the continuous vertical migration patterns and variability of backscatterers were routinely investigated as well. In addition, the velocity vectors were compared with the vertical migration velocity estimated from echograms of Mean Volume Backscattering Strength, and estimated to produce observational bias due to SSLs which is composed of backscatterers such as euphausiids, nekton, and fishes have swimming ability.

  • A low power pulse Doppler radar should integrate a large number of data to provide a required maximum detectable distance. Doppler filter needs a window that has good out-of-bard rejection level to maintain high dynamic range. From these facts, we can apply decimation and presumming to increase the speed of Doppler processing. This Paper investigates the efficiencies of several decimation methods and the loss of presumming. And I propose a method to increase processing speed but to maintain the maximum detectable distance.

유체속도 측정을 위한 레이저 도플러 유속계의 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Construction of LDV System for a Measurement of the Fluid Velocity)

  • The optics and the signal processor of dual beam laser Doppler velocimeter(LDV) was fabricated. By using the dual beam and the forward scattering, the optics part of LDV was fabricated. And the signal processor of LDV was designed by the frequency counter type using new 11:6 period timing device in order to remove error signals, and was made of the reference clock of a 500 MHz ECL oscillator. Doppler frequencies from 10KHz to 70MHz can be measured using the signal processor. In the accuracy of the period counting part, from 1.81x10**-4% to 1.27% is estimated, and in the accuracy of the validation logic part, from 0.78% to 14.78% is estimated.

  • 본 논문에서는 다중경로 페이딩의 무인기 채널환경에서 무인기 속도에 따른 도플러 영향을 극복하기 위해 LMMSE(: Linear Minimum Mean Square Error) 알고리즘을 적용하였고, 파일럿 배치 및 패턴에 따른 영향성을 분석하였다. 모의 실험결과 파일럿 배치 및 패턴에 따라 성능 차이를 확인할 수 있었고, 본 논문에서 제시한 프레임 구조를 통해 실제 운용 환경에서도 고속의 무인기에 대해 안정적인 보조링크를 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The present study investigates flow characteristics in an optical disc drive. Detailed knowledge of the flow characteristics is essential to analyze flow-induced noise and vibration, forced convection and flow friction loss. The ODD used in the personal computer is used for the experiment and rotating velocity of disc is under the 4500 rpm. Time-resolved velocity components and velocity spectrum are obtained using the laser Doppler anemometry (LDA). The results show that the front holes reduce now-induced noise and the position of pickup body affects flow near the window. In addition, il is possible for cooling of heat sources in an optical disc drive through measuring the flow fields under the tray.

  • 수중환경에서 표적의 탐지 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 능동 소나에서는 높은 시간-대역폭곱의 파형들을 사용하며 대표적인 것으로 LFM 펄스를 들 수 있다 LFM 펄스를 사용하여 표적까지의 거리와 표적의 속도를 추정하는 방법으로는 모호함수를 사용하는 방법과 deconvolution 방법 및 FR-기반 기법 등이 있다. 이러한 기법중 모호함수 사용 방법과 deconvolution 방법은 능동 소나의 운용 주파수 대역에서 많은 연산량이 요구되므로 실제 시스템에 적용하기에는 제약을 받는다. 그리고 다른 기법에 비해 적은 연산량을 가지는 FFT-기반 상관관계 기법은 실제 시스템에 적용이 가능하지만 다중경로에 의한 성능 저하를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 적은 연산량을 가지는 FFT-기반 기법을 보완하여 다중경로에 적용 가능한 새로운 탐지기를 제안한다.
