  • 본 논문에서는 최근 유선을 대치하기 위해 등장한 여러 가지 근거리 무선통신 방식 중 블루투스 기술과 시스템의 안정성 및 리소스의 효율적 사용을 위한 멀티태스킹이 가능한 RTOS(uC/OS)를 이용하여 투선 비디오 도어폰을 설계 및 구현해 본다. 송신기는 카메라, 비디오 디코더, 영상 압축칩 프로세서(ARM7TDMI), 메모리, 블루투스 모듈 등을 이용하여 임베디드 시스템을 구성하였고, 수신기는 블루투스 모듈을 통해 수신된 영상 데이터를 모니터에 디스플레이 할 수 있다.

  • Recently, railway corporations have built maintenance information systems and collected failure and maintenance data. For example Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (SMRT) built the Electric Motor Unit-Information System (EMU-IS) which is the first maintenance information system in Korea. It has been operated from August, 2000. This paper deals with a case study on determining maintenance interval through reliability analysis using EMU-IS fault data. Door system is considered for the case study in which reliability is evaluated for operating time and distance and the overhaul interval is determined.

Air Intake Door Control for the High Air Conditioning Performance (인테이크 도어 제어를 이용한 고성능 냉난방 시스템)

  • Recently, the quick heating performance is an important issue in the car because engine power becomes so high. So car makers have been adapted the additional heating devices as like PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater. And the quick cooling performance is also important issue because its result is used in the IQS(Initial Quality Study). In this paper, control of the HVAC(Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) intake door has been studied for the quick heating and cooling performance. Heating performance is improved $4.0^{\circ}C$ at $-20^{\circ}C$ ambient temperature after 20 minutes. And cooling performance is improved $1.5^{\circ}C$ at $35^{\circ}C$ ambient temperature after 10 minutes. In addition, intake door control system brings on the cost reduction because the flab door can be eliminated. This intake door control system has been adapted to the new developing cars.

  • 웹서비스 등 다양한 응용분야에서 리눅스 서버의 사용이 일반화되면서 침입으로 인한 정보 유출 문제 및 다른 시스템으로의 침입 등의 문제를 발생시키고 있다. 한번 침입을 받은 시스템의 경우 시스템 설정이 변경되거나 백도어가 설치되어 쉽게 재침입의 표적이 될 수 있다는 점에서 침입으로 인한 부작용을 최소화하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 시스템 침입이 있더라도 시스템 설정을 변경하거나 백도어 설치를 할 수 없도록 제어하기 위한 파일 접근 제어 모듈을 제안한다.

  • After installation of platform screen door (PSD) in subway stations, particulate matters (PMs), which are originally ventilated through the platform, are accumulated inside the tunnel of the subway system. It deteriorates an air quality inside the tunnel. To ventilate the accumulated PMs inside the tunnel, the natural ventilator which are located inside the tunnel (namely, tunnel ventilation system) are used as only one circulation system. In addition, the installation of PSD can affect to the aerodynamic variations inside the tunnel, since the PSD system was not considered factor when the tunnel ventilation system was designed. However, the researches about the tunnel ventilation system have not been adequate. Therefore, this study is carried out with two objectives: 1) to measure the velocity of air current by the train-induced wind, when the train passes through the tunnel, and 2) to investigate the typical patterns of air current by quantitatively evaluating the characteristics of inflow/outflow of air current which passes through the natural ventilation system. This study can suggest the basic standard to newly design the tunnel of the subway system as well as the ventilation system.

  • Video digital door lock(VDDL) system detects people who access to the door and acquires the human image. Design considerations is that current consumption must be minimized by applying fast human detection algorithm because of battery-based operation. Since the digital door lock takes an image through a fixed camera, detection of a person based on background image leads to high degree of reliability. This paper deals with a single human detection algorithm suitable for VDDL with fulfilling these requirements such that it detects a moving object in an image, then identifies whether the object is a person or not using image processing. The proposed image processing algorithm consists of two steps: Firstly, it detects the human image region using both background image and skin color information. Secondly, it identifies the person using polar histogram based on proportional information of human body. Proposed algorithm is implemented in VDDL and is verified the performance through experiments.

  • Doors are to be the most basics of our lives from opening, closing and even keeping our property. Hence, doors have been innovated to blend in and make our daily lives more convenient. However, we find it difficult to open and close the doors manually of offices or tour zones, where they open and close at a precise time everyday. To solve this, we added a dimension of time to previous Door Locks. By this, every door with this specific door lock will open and close at a certain time we want them to open or close. Also, through the application you can control the time or use it to open and close the doors remotely. In order to do this, we systemed the door lock time system based on Java Programing language to make it easy to communicate and open or close the doors through smart phone applications, with the C programming language for the ATmega128 which will open and close the doors.

  • Recently, the study on the commercialization technology of Rope Platform Screen Door (RPSD) is on the process. The study is specifically on RPSD, which the rope screen ascends to allow passage with securing safety of passenger and the condition of aboveground station. For this human-centered design of RPSD, it is important to present system technology. However, it is also necessary to scientifically measure and research the emotions, senses or minds of users in the future. Therefore, this study analyzed the human factors to be considered with designing the system on RPSD, which is installed in Nokdong Station on Gwangju Subway as a trial. Moreover, the emotional evaluation was done by analyzing the factors as how they are effected in general; it processed by checking whether it is safe, height of rope is stable, it has openness (pressure) or strong by examining the moments that a set of ropes blocks rail from platform, and when train is arrived.

Door Effort Analysis for Door Checker of Integrated Type with Torsion Bar Spring (토션 바 스프링을 적용한 일체형 도어체커 개폐력 해석)

  • Door effort was calculated for a new door checker with torsion bar spring and integrated checker case by FE analysis. A hybrid checker arm which has peaks and valleys only on the upper surface was adopted to reduce noise in operation and make operation with more distinctive steps. The checker arm was modeled using shell elements to estimate both the longitudinal and the lateral resistance force by checker arm. By combining the checker arm resistance force obtained from analysis and the door self-closing force by the theoretical calculation, door effort was predicted to show the good correlation with test results. In addition the unrolling effect of roller model was investigated and a new roller type for more smooth rolling was studied.
