Skip lesion is not uncommon feature in osteosarcoma and considered to be importantly associated with poor prognosis factor, and thus, should be excised with the main mass. The accurate pre-operative evaluation of the intramedullary extent of osteosarcoma is essential, because it determines the level of bone resection. Among the reliable detection methods, bone scan has a drawback of high rate of false negative results and regional MRI has a difficulty to cover the whole involved lesions without clinical suspicion. The authors report a case of osteosarcoma of the distal femur with a proximal skip lesion that was not detected by either regional MR imaging or by bone scan, but which was visualized by FDG-PET/CT.

본 연구는 임상검사 및 방사선 사진상 악관절장애로 진단된 환자중 물리치료,악관절 안정장치 등의 보존적 치료방법을 시행하였으나 증상의 개선이 별로 없는 퇴행성 관절질환이나 중등도의 개구제한을 가진 환자를 대상으로하여 aspirin을 이용한 활액성분 분석 및 악관절 도약술과 sodium hyaluronate의 주입을 시행한후 이에 따른 치료결과를 평가하기 위하여 시행되었다. 평균연령이 31.2세(21-42세)인 11명의 악관절 장애환자를 대상으로 하였다. 악관절 도약술과 sodium hyaluronate의 주입은 악관절의 동통과 개구제한의 해소를 위해 시행되었으며 그 결과를 시술전, 시술 즉시, 시술 1주후 및 4주후로 나누어 분석하였으며 활액 채취시 생리식염수의 희석에 의한 활액성분의 농도 변화에 따른 오차를 막고자 활액과 혈액내의 aspirin의 농도차를 이용하여 정확한 활액 성분농도를 측정하였다. 이상의 연구를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 전체 환자의 생리식염수에 의한 악관절 활액의 희석계수는 1.4-12.9(5.5$\pm$4.2)로 상당히 넓은 범위를 나타내었다. 2. 만성 폐구성 과두걸림 환자군(n=7)의 생리식염수에 의한 활액의 희석계수 (6.2$\pm$3.5)는 퇴행성 관절질환을 갖는 환자군(4.4$\pm$5.7, n=4)과 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 만성폐구성 과두걸림군과 퇴행성 관절 질환군간의 활액성분의 농도는 유의한 차이가 없었으나 희석계수를 이용한 수정된 Hyaluronic acid와 총단백질의 농도는 만성 폐구성 과두걸림군의 경우에서 유의하게 더 높게 나타났다. 4. 악관절 도약술과 sodium hyaluronate의 주입 직후 만성 폐구성 과두걸림 환자군의 경우 평균 8.3mm의 추가적인 개구 증가로 유의한 차이가 관찰되었고 퇴행성 관절질환의 경우 평균 1.3mm의 추가적인 개구증가가 있었으나 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 못했다. 5. 시술전, 시술 1주후 및 4주후의 여러 검사항목을 비교한 결과 두 군에서 모두 시간의 경과에 따라 기능이상 및 동통 감소의 경향을 나타내었으나 유의하지는 않았으며 만성 폐구성 과두걸림의 경우 기능장애지수(dysfunction index) 와 최대개구시 동통의 정도는 시술전과 시술 4주후간에 유의한 차이가 관찰되었다.

From 1980 to 1997, we experienced 3 skip metastasis in femur out of 19 osteosarcoma patients. After diagnostic incisional biopsy and chemotherapy, hip disarticulations for all patients were performed. Still the mechanism of skip metastasis is unclear, but there have been two suggestions including medullary extension through an intraosseous embolism of tumor cells, or trans articular extension along the planes of fascia, capsule, ligaments, and venous channels around joints. The mechanisms of skip metastasis in our cases were not clear, but it was considered as an initial preliminary stage of metachronous osteosarcoma. If there are evidences of skip metastasis, it is strongly recommended to disarticulate proximal to the skip lesion rather than to amputate transmedullary.

The purpose of this study was to observe the kinematic patterns of hurdling by domestic hurdlers and elite hurdlers from other countries in particular, we studied the hurdling motion and joint angles at the third hurdle in 110-m hurdle races. There were slight differences in the following variables at takeoff and landing: angle of the center of gravity(elite hurdler, $34.14^{\circ}$ domestic hurdler, $24.89^{\circ}$), angle variables the body angle(elite hurdler, $4.27^{\circ}$ domestic hurdler, $6.37^{\circ}$), the angle of trunk inclination(elite hurdler, $3.18^{\circ}$ domestic hurdler, $11.58^{\circ}$), and the hip angle(elite hurdler, $40.1^{\circ}$ domestic hurdler, $43.2^{\circ}$).

제20회 한국전자전람회가 사상 최대 규모, 최대실적을 올리며 대성황리에 6일간의 행사를 성공적으로 마무리지었다. 특히 금년은 전자공업이 시작된지 30주년을 맞이하고 전자전을 개최한지 20회가 되는 뜻깊은 해로서 2000년대에 선진 전자공업국으로 도약해 나아가기 위한 디딤돌을 마련하는 계기가 되었다.

최근의 IT기술혁신은 단일 산업군을 넘어선 융합형 기술 혁신이 주도하고, 이동성, 내재화, 지능화가 극대화되면서 IT가 전 산업의 생산요소이자 인프라로 그 역할이 중요해지고 있다. 이에 그 동안 하나의 독립산업에 머물던 IT산업은 국가 전체의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 기반산업으로서 그 역할이 확대되고 있다. 미국, EU, 일본 등 선진국들이 IT 융합전략에 박차를 가하고 있는 것도 이 때문이다. 이러한 상황에서 우리나라도 'IT Korea 미래전략'이 발표되고, IT산업의 진흥을 총괄하는 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 출범하였다. 이는 그 동안 국가주력산업으로 기능해온 IT산업이 전 산업의 경쟁력 제고를 지원함으로써 국가경제발전에 기여할 수 있는 새로운 전기가 마련되었음을 의미한다. 이에 정보통신 산업진흥원은 2010년 IT산업의 새로운 도약을 위한 전략목표로 1) IT융합을 통한 타산업과의 동반성장, 2) 산업경쟁력 원천으로서의 소프트웨어 경쟁력 제고, 3) IT산업 성장기반 고도화를 선정하였다. 정보통신산업진흥원은 IT산업 정책의 총괄기획자 및 코디네이터로서 IT사업의 전(全)과정을 지원하는 입체적 산업지원 체계를 구축하고, IT정책 간 연계를 통해 정책시너지를 극대화함으로써 새로운 IT융합전략의 성공을 이끌어 갈 것이다.

This paper presents a study on the subject for the design and implementation of high-speed frequency hopping RF transceiver used for tactical communications systems. Jump the transmission / reception frequency of the L-band to hop tens per second is possible by maximizing the immunity to interference, and is applicable to communication systems having a charging rotation function. To high-speed frequency hopping it is necessary to apply the necessary fast frequency hopping scheme DDS Driven PLL added. In this paper, the RF transceiver design and simulation analysis capabilities with fast frequency tactical communication systems, were implemented after the main test for functionality and performance. Was demonstrated hop high-speed jump tens per second through a test, the main transmission output, were measured RF key performance, such as received noise figure, by using the VSG and VSA generates a ${\pi}/4$ DQPSK modulated signal constellation and by EVM measurement that there is no problem in applying the communications system described above was pre-validated.

(주)이오시스템 생산기술팀에서 근무하고 있는 박성천 차장은 대학과 대학원에서 광학설계와 응용광학을 전공하고 이오시스템에 입사하여 한 직장에서만 15년을 근무하여 얼마 전 있었던 이오시스템 창립 30주년 기념행사에서 장기근속상을 받았다. 새로운 전환과 도약을 시도하는 회사와 마찬가지로 그동안 다양한 실무경험과 노하우를 쌓으며 개인적으로나 회사 공적에도 많은 일조를 한 그 역시 올해 새로운 변화와 도약을 준비하고 있다. 이름도 생소한 '시스템 엔지니어' 라는 목표를 향해 '사회인 박사과정'에 도전하는 박성천 차장을 만나 그의 이야기를 들어보았다.
