The Prospects for Underground Transmission System m Korea (수도서울의 161KV 지중선계통의 타당성검토 1)

  • 본고에서는 지중선로는 그 시공이 곤란하고, 사고수리기간도 길고, 한편 가공선로에 비교해서 9배이상의 건설비가 소요되고, 따라서 전기요금도 인상케 할 요인이 되므로 그 건설은 가능한 기피해야하나, 고층건물이 속출하는 도시에서는 그 사용이 불가피하고, 현재로서는 별다른 대안이 없다. 현재 한전은 당인리발전소와 용산변전소간에 간에 154KV OF cable 지중선로를 건설중에 있고, 1973년경에는 본문의 pipe type cable의 지중선로가 실현될것이 예기된다. 그리고 이외에 서울에서 5개소, 부산에서 2개소의 지중선로계획이 추진중에 있다.

  • 최근 수도권에서는 지방공단 등으로 이전한 노후 공장 건축물을 철거한 자리에 '테크노타운', '벤처타운', 'IT타워', '디지털밸리', '테크노밸리' 등의 이름으로 아파트형 공장을 설립하고 있다. 아파트형 공장은 서울을 중심으로 수도권역에서 토지이용을 극대화가기 위한 집합 공장건물로서 중소기업체의 입지 해결 및 쾌적한 작업환경을 제공하고 도시근로자의 풍부한 노동력을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 또한 공동 부대시설을 확보하여 공간효율의 극대화와 종업원의 복리후생이 개선되는 등의 중소기업 지원효과를 거두고 있다. 고층화, 집단화, 공동화를 주요 특징으로 하는 아파트형 공장에서 부속시설의 화재보험요율 적용에 관하여 생각해보고자 한다.

  • 도심 도로변의 대기질은 주변의 고층 건물로 인한 거리 협곡으로 인하여 도시의 대기질에서 가장 빈번하게 기준을 초과하는 지역이다. 대부분의 대도시에서 고층 빌딩으로 구성된 도심 거리 협곡(urban street canyon)의 자동차에서 배출되는 대기오염물질은 운전자, 보행자, 도로변 작업자, 자동차 승객 등의 건강에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 자동차 대기오염물질은 지표면에서 발생되기 때문에 거리 협곡은 배출원 인근의 대기오염물질 확산에 중요한 영향을 준다. 우선적으로, 거리 협곡은 협곡 상공에서 수직적인 혼합을 유도하게 된다. 둘째로, 거리 협곡의 형성은 협곡의 지형적 또는 물리적 경계 내의 오염물질을 정체시키게 되어, 협곡 상공으로 공기가 자유롭게 이동하여 오염물질을 수송하는 것을 지체시키는 경향이 있다.   • The purpose of this research is to analyze the publicity of the private open space of high-rise office buildings in seoul. The contents of this research consist of two main parts. The first part is to classify the personal behavior's characteristics and to investigate the user's satisfaction of the publicity in the private open space through the case study of samples in seoul. The second part is to analyze the correlations between the personal behavior's characteristics and the user's satisfaction of the publicity in the private open space of high-rise office buildings. In conclusion, this research will contribute to establish the planning methods of the private open space of high-rise office buildings and to promote the quality of urban residential environment in Korea.

  • As the urban scale changes and the construction technology develops, the living space is being expanded in three dimensions. However, despite the development of construction technology represented by the appearance of skyscrapers, damage to high - rise buildings with dense population can be rather high. In order to solve such a situation, digital twin technology that can control and predict the real world in real time can be an alternative, and it is necessary to utilize pre-constructed spatial information actively. Therefore, this study aims to provide a standardized data model for using existing such information as well as various information produced in the future to the building disaster prevention field. To this end, we developed a data model that extends the CityGML standard, a representative city information model, to disaster prevention.

Assessment of 3-Dimensional Sunshine Environment Using Geographical Information System Data around Pukyong National University (부경대학교 주변 지역의 지리정보시스템 자료를 이용한 3차원 일조 환경 평가)

  • In this study, sunshine environment in an urban area is analyzed using a numerical model which considers sunshine-duration blocking by topography and buildings. The numerical model used in this study has an improvement in the algorithm detecting sunshine duration in the model domain. The main improvement in the algorithm is to detect sunshine duration using all the surfaces of any grid cell(the previous model uses the center of any grid cell). The improvement in the algorithm gives more accurate evaluation of sunshine duration at corner surfaces of buildings. Using the improvement model and geographic information system(GIS) data, sunshine environment is analysed at an building-congested area in Busan for a week in four seasons. The results show that sunshine duration can be much changed by apartment complexes, high-rise buildings, topography in the model domain.

Analysis of Causes of and Solutions to the Stack Effect by Vertical Zoning of High-rise Buildings (초고층 건축물 수직조닝별 연돌효과의 원인 및 해결 방안 분석)

  • Urban overcrowding has created an explosive supply and demand for high-rise buildings. High-rise buildings are contributing to enhancing the image of the city by serving as focal points, but due to the stack effect, malfunction of elevator doors, difficulties in opening and closing the doors and windows of the outer wall, smoke and odors spreading to the upper floors, noise, energy loss, fire and pollutants have been causing various unexpected problems such as rapid spread of fire. This study classified high-rise buildings according to their vertical zoning, analyzed the causes of and solutions to the stack effect, and derived design and construction methods. Through the initial plan to block the outside air and securing airtightness through precise construction, we sought ways to secure the airtightness inside and outside the building by actively blocking the airflow from the lower floors. In addition, the facility solution can be a measure to reduce the specific phenomena caused by the stack effect, but it should only be applied to the minimum extent because the potential for secondary damage is high. This study emphasized the need for systematic stack effect management by suggesting design and construction measures for each vertical zoning of the causes and countermeasures of the stack effect. It is expected that this study will be helpful not only for design and construction, but also for building maintenance.

A Study on the Flow Changes around Building Construction Area Using a GIS Data (GIS 자료를 활용한 신축 건물 주변 지역의 흐름 변화 연구)

  • In this study, the effects of urban redevelopment and building construction on the change of the detailed flows around the Pukyong National University (PKNU) campus located in the building-congested area was investigated using a CFD (computational fluid dynamics) model and GIS (geographic information system). For the analysis of the detailed flows before and after the constructions of the buildings around and within the campus, numerical simulations for the 16 inflow directions were performed before and after the construction. We used, as reference wind speeds at the inflow boundaries, the averaged wind speeds observed at the Gwangan light beacon (962) where there is no surrounding obstacle (i.e., building and terrain) acting as friction. We analyzed the area fractions in which wind speeds at z = 2.5 m changed after the construction for 16 inflow directions. The area fractions were relatively large in the east-south-easterly and southerly cases, because of the high-rise buildings constructed at the east and the apartment complex and the Engineering buildings constructed at the south of the PKNU campus. In the case of the easterly of which frequency is highest among the wind directions observed at the Daeyeon AWS (AWS 942) located inside the PKNU campus, the wind-speed change was not significant even after the constructions. It is shown that the building construction has affected the detailed flows around as well as even in the far downwind region of the constructed buildings. Also, it is shown that the GIS and CFD model are useful for analyzing the detailed flows in planning the urban redevelopment and/or building construction.

A study on a power plant using Dye-sensitized solar cells in low light environments (저조도 환경에서의 염료감응형 태양전지를 활용한 발전소자에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, attention has been focused on renewable energy and carbon neutrality to resolve fossil energy depletion and environmental problems. In addition, high-rise urban buildings and an increase in building energy are rapidly increasing. There are many restrictions on installing solar power in urban areas. In addition, as buildings become taller, a lot of low-light environments in which shade is formed occur. Therefore, in this study, we intend to develop a power plant capable of generating electric power in an outdoor low-light environment and indoor lighting environment. The power plant in a low-light environment used a dye-sensitized solar cell. A unit cell and a 20cm×20cm module were manufactured, and the electrical characteristics of the power plant were measured using light sources of LED, halogen lamp, and 3-wavelength lamp. The photoelectric conversion efficiency of the unit cell was 17.2%, 1.28%, 19,2% for each LED, halogen lamp, and 3-wavelength lamp, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the 20cm×20cm module was 10.9%, 8.7%, and 11.8%, respectively. In addition, the maximum power value of the module was 13.1mW, 15.7 mW, and 14.2 mW for each light source, respectively, confirming the possibility of power generation in a low-light environment

A Study on the Visualization of Urban Wind Flow by Using Thermochromic Pigment (열변색성 염료를 이용한 도심 공기 유동 시각화에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, due to environmental problems caused by densification and high rise of urban areas, interests in air flow is increasing and appropriate shape and layout design of buildings is required. Therefore, in this study, we intend to propose an experimental method that can observe the air flow around a building using thermochromic pigment. Thermochromic pigments have limitations in observing precise temperature changes due to the characteristic that the color changes only with respect to a specific temperature, but they have the advantages of easy configuration of experimental equipment and short time required for experiments. In this study, the air flow tendencies around a building was examined by performing CFD analysis for a simple model and then compared with the thermochromic experiment results in order to review the usefulness of the proposed experimental method. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to observe the formation of separated flow and vortex region generated by buildings using the charateristics of thermochromic pigment and it was confirmed that the proposed method can be useful for buildings design and urban city planning.
