This study determines 69 iSchools provided which data science curriculum, and presents the direction for Korean LIS schools. It is certain that iSchools extend their subject territory including areas related to health, technology and biotechnology. However, this phenomenon is not actively observed in Korea. iSchools also focus on the area about how to process and manage data. iSchools, in deed, offer courses regarding data science, data management and data security. The 'database' was a higher proportion of 'data warehouse' curriculum, and, 'data statistic and analysis' curriculum are forming similar portion. As a result of analysis of the iSchool's curriculum and comparison with Korean curriculum, this study suggests: the expansion of LIS curriculum related to data science; the enhanced role of the data translational data science; development of curriculum to raise the mathematical analysis capabilities, development of specialized curriculum and experimental classes; and support new knowledge skills to interact with technology.

Statement of responsibility in bibliographical records plays a key role in clarifying intellectual responsibility of the work, and it also plays a role in making up access points. However, cataloging rules for the statement of responsibility mostly deal with the distinction between the principal role and minor roles. This becomes a problem because the responsibility type itself is more important than the order of the types. For this reason, in this paper I will explore improvements of the description methods of statement of responsibility by organizing the role indicators. Namely, using the role indicators more effectively than the current description methods do, we can collocate the dispersed statements of responsibilities. The role indicators can also be used for an author facet in information retrieval and can provide additional information for authority control.

RFID is application field is very wide. For example, There is parking administration system, bookkeeper administration system etc. Such application system must do priority Carrier wave choice according to application purpose. If in case of Carrier frequency is low, awareness distance is short and Carrier frequency is high, awareness distance is very long. This uses in case awareness object is fast-moving. And it must be Tag's supply and demand's that is smooth. Even if development of system is completed, if Tag's purchase is difficult, developing item is not need. In this paper, we shows RFID system using EM4095 chip that is using 125KHz by carrier wave. EM4095 is high effectiveness chip of the low-power and circuit is very simple. It is possible to read with being write as that connect 4 lines with MCU. MCU used Atmega128. As result, we explained circuit and control programs for each part, and show Tag's ID reception that use Reader by picture.

Recently, the table of contents (TOC) has been becoming increasingly accessible and utilized. The study conducted descriptive statistics and comparative analysis of the table of contents in terms of parts of speech and subject in text. For this purpose, this study chose the books of the social sciences field from acquisition lists of an academic library, obtained Dewey class numbers of target books from KERIS union catalog, and extracted TOC data from online bookstore. Morphological analysis was performed on each book titles and TOCs, and descriptive statistics and frequency analysis were carried out. As a result, nouns made up roughly half of the morphemes of titles or the TOCs. TOCs had about 50 times more nouns than titles. The percentage of unique nouns that appeared only in the table of contents is estimated to be 95.2% of the TOC's total nouns. The table of contents also showed a differences in its lengths depending on the field of social science.

A modern architectural building is a cultural heritage, which is also part of our history until the present. Documentation is thus considered an irreplaceable method to preserve our cultural heritage as it may be the last resort of preservation. The study analyzed the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) on the Heritage Documentation Programs of the National Park Service. Based on the analysis of the comparison and documentation of the modern architectural building implemented by the Cultural Heritage Administration, the study suggested improvement plans from three different perspectives. First, specifically detailed regulations of the legal system are supposed to be used for the implementation of the documentation of modern architectural buildings. Second, it is suggested that a general plan for continuous documentation be made. Last, by setting up a collection method, an information service needs to be provided for the public.

This study aims to determine the impact of digital literacy skills of middle-aged and older people using public libraries on their life satisfaction. For this study, a survey was conducted on 192 middle-aged and older people aged 40 to 64 living in area G. The collected data were analyzed using the statistical package SPSS 27 program. The analysis methods in this study included frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test for post-hoc analysis, and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, digital literacy competency has a significant positive impact on the life satisfaction of middle-aged and older adults; as their digital literacy skills improve, their life satisfaction increases. Second, digital literacy competency varies based on gender, education level, employment status, and average monthly income, influencing their engagement in activities such as study or work. Additionally, higher levels of digital literacy competency, as determined by the highest level of education, positively affect life satisfaction, leisure activities, and cultural life.

This study examined several recommendation techniques to construct an effective book recommender system in a library. Experiments revealed that a hybrid recommendation technique is more effective than either collaborative filtering or content-based filtering technique in recommending books to be borrowed in an academic library setting. The recommendation technique based on association rule turned out the lowest in performance.

Institutional Repository offers integrated capture, management. preservation and access intellectual asset of individual institution and is also considered as a strategy to disseminate and exchange intellectual output as part of global 'Knowledge Bank'. A case of Institutional Repository, 'dCollection,' was introduced in Korea Education & Research Information Service(KERIS) as an institutional repository solution. This paper drew related issues in order to apply institutional repository to domestic universities. The results will bring a paradigm shift in scholarly communications, as a guideline of institutional repositories in the university libraries.

The purpose of this study is to select factors that its impact on subscription of the package type e-journal in Korea. In order to accomplish this study, factors to select the package-type electronic journal are discussed through preceded research literatures, and presented the factors for subscription of the package-type electronic journal based on KESLI materials. As a result, ten evaluation categories and thirty-four evaluation factors are selected as e-journal evaluation elements.
