Bankruptcy Prediction Model with AR process (AR 프로세스를 이용한 도산예측모형)

  • The detection of corporate failures is a subject that has been particularly amenable to cross-sectional financial ratio analysis. In most of firms, however, the financial data are available over past years. Because of this, a model utilizing these longitudinal data could provide useful information on the prediction of bankruptcy. To correctly reflect the longitudinal and firm-specific data, the generalized linear model with assuming the first order AR(autoregressive) process is proposed. The method is motivated by the clinical research that several characteristics are measured repeatedly from individual over the time. The model is compared with several other predictive models to evaluate the performance. By using the financial data from manufacturing corporations in the Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) list, we will discuss some experiences learned from the procedure of sampling scheme, variable transformation, imputation, variable selection, and model evaluation. Finally, implications of the model with repeated measurement and future direction of research will be discussed.

  • UR협상에 따라 민간건설시장이 `95년에, 공공건설시장이 `97년에 개방되면 기술력이 강한 선진국이 국내시장에 진출함으로써 자본력과 기술력이 약한 국내업체가 도산하거나 이들이 하도급 업체로 전락할 우려가 있다. 그러나 건설업체가 기술개발에 주력하여 국제경쟁력을 갖추게 되면 국내건설시장보다 50배이상 큰 국제시장에 진출하여 건설산업이 70$\~$80년대와 같이 국가경제발전에 크게 기여할 수 있는 계기를 마련할 수도 있다. 기술개발의 주체가 민간기업이므로 향후 건설기술의 정책은 민간기업이 기술개발에 주력할 수 있는 여건을 조성하는데 초점이 맞추어질 것이다. 민간기업의 기술개발 촉진을 위하여는 신기술지정제도 등 기존의 여러 가지 인센티브제도를 보강하는 한편, 현재 가격중심인 입찰$\cdot$계약제도를 기술중심으로 전환하여 기술력이 우수한 업체를 우대할 것이다. 아울러 적산제도와 시방서 등의 제기준을 국제규범화하고 외국업체의 국내 진출시 예상되는 각종 클레임 문제에 대하여도 대응방안을 마련할 것이다.

  • 1. 저자가 1957년 5월부터 1958년 9월까지 남한 10개지역 즉 광릉(경기도), 네주도, 오대산(강원도), 울릉도, 강화도, 작약도(경기도), 주안(경기도 ), 이리(전북), 홍릉(서울), 남한산성(경기도)에서 복숭아, 사과등의 과실 Trap 방법과Sweeping 법으로 채집한 초파리는 4 속, 7 아문, 44종 2198 마리였다. 2. 급번채집에서 얻은 한국산미기록종은 D.(H.) trivittata Strobl Mycodrosophila splendida okada, D.(S.) auraria Peng(Type C)의 3 종이며 미지 10 종은 현재 검색중이거니와 그 결과는 멀지않아 발표할 예정이다. 3. 울릉도채집은 1958년 8월 1일부터 13일까지에 이루어졌으며 채집지는 도동, 사동, 천부, 대무, 남양 난봉, 성인봉이며 그 결과 채집된 22종은 울릉도산동물목록에 새로이 부가하는 바이다.

  • A new species of the genus Tethya (Demospongiae: Hadromerida: Tethyidae), Tethya songakensis, is collected from Jeju Island, Korea, by scuba diving. This new species is characterized by oxyasters, slender tylasters and spherasters with frequently branched ray. Tethya songakensis n. sp. is similar to T. simi Sara and Bavestrello, 2000 in megascleres and megasters, but it can be clearly distinguished with the latter by the shape of microasters.

  • Obelia tottoni(Leloup, 1935), Sertularella polyzonias(Linnaeus, 1758) and Symplectoscyphus turgidus(Trak, 1857) of the identified thecate hydroid speces from Anmyondo, Kojedo and Chejudo were turned out to be new to the Korean fauna. Up to date the Korean thecate hydroid fauna consists of six subspecies and 109 species in eight families.

  • The weathered two-mica granite is widely distributed in Korea and called a kind of ground rock for kaolin. The major minerla compositions are consist of this quartz, feldspar, mica and clay mineral. At present, only a small portion of this granite is used as the material for the low-grade tile industry due to the low S.K. value and the high contents of impurities such as Fe2O3 and FeO. The low S.K. value is caused by feldspars not weathered to clay minerals. The refinement of this thus has been required for the recent shortage of the resources of high-grade one. This paper concerns an optimum hydrothermal treatment condition to refine the low-grade weathered two-mica granite of which impurities are feldspar mineral and Fe2O3. FeO components in using for the main material of ceramic industry. And then, from this result, we tried to fine out the basic formation mechanism of clay mineral from feldspar etc and develope the effectual utilization method of this.

  • 1980.8-1982.8월까지 일광, 주문진, 돌산, 어청도 및 성산포에서 채집한 1,663미의 보라성게의 성장 및 산란에 관한 조사이다. 1세부터 5세까지의 평균각경은 가각 19, 32, 43, 51, 58mm로 추정됐으며 $l_\infty=84.4 mm,\;k=0.223,\;t_o=-0.187$의 성장식을 보였다. 가경에 대한 각고, 보대, 간보대, 위홍문부경 및 극 길이의 상관관계는 매우 높았다. 연령에 따른 가부분의 상대성장은차이가 없으나 극의 성장에서는 3세까지는 각경에 비례하여 성장하나 그 이후의 연령부터는 반비례하고 있다. 일광해역에서의 산란은 6-10월에 일어나며 주 산란은 8월로 사료한다. 연령에 따른 주 산란시기는 다르며 고연령군은 저연령군 보다 일찍 산란하고 있다. 제주산 보라성게는 8월 이전에 산란을 이미 마친 상태이며 여수산, 일광산은 주로 8월에, 주문진산, 어청도산은 8월 이후에 산란하는 것으로 판단된다.

  • The author studied On the inorganic substances in the muscles of Branchiostegus joponicus japonicus, Chromis notatus, Haliotis gigantea mataka, obtaining the following results ; 1) The results of quantitative analysis are shown in Table 3. 2) It is noticeable that the concentration of Cu, P, Fe, Ca, and Na in the muscles of Branchiostegus joponicus japonicus (demersal fish), Chromis notatus (pelagic fish) and Haliotis gigantea mataka (shell fish) are quite different in the three species.

  • Neural Network(NN) is known to be suitable for forecasting corporate bankruptcy because of discriminant capability. Bandkruptcy prediction on NN by now has mostly been studied based on financial indices at specific point of time. However, the financial profile of corporates fluctuates within a certain range with the elapse of time. Besides, we need a lot of data of different bankrupt types in order to apply NN for better bankruptcy prediction. Therefore, We have decided to focus on textile and clothing industries for bankruptcy prediction with limited data. One part of the collected data was used for training and calibration, and the other was used for verification. The model makes a learning with extended data from financial indices at specific point of time. The trained model has been tested and we could get a high hitting ratio relatively.

A Study on the Planning Characteristics of the Dosanseodang through the Review of "The Writings of Toegye" (퇴계집을 통하여 본 도산서당의 조영적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • As a faithful study about the intended plan of builder, this article studied the Dosanseodang(陶山書堂) which is located in the Dosanseodang(陶山書堂). The Dosanseowon is one of the representative Yi-Dynasty' Seowons. Through the review of $\ulcorner$The Writings of Toegye$\lrcorner$. It is found several intended plan of the Dosanseodang(陶山書 堂) as follows. 1. When Toegye located the site of the Dosanseodang in the Dosan, using four criteria such as 1) geographical characteristics(地 理), 2) hills and waters(山水) 3) form and orientation of valley, 4) so-cial characteristics. 2. In the Dosan area, the location of Seodang was determined by the physical characteristics of the valley(orientation and entrance), not by the concept of Fung-sui(風水). 3. The whole spatial structure of Seodang area formed triangle, and the Dosanseodang was located at the angular point of the triangle. 4. The landscape elements of the Dosanseodang falled into the three landscape hierarchy such as a front view, a middle view, and a distance view. Besides the three views, there was a borrowed view which Toegye defined in terms of ownership.
