Measurement of Vertical-Directional DTV Signal Level Using a Multi-Copter (멀티콥터를 이용한 수직방향 DTV 신호 레벨 측정)

  • DTV field tests have been performed to measure field strength and to check reception ratio on indoor and outdoor sites. They use an antenna of 9m to measure DTV signal in case of outdoor measurement on the road. Modern skyscrapers require the analysis of vertical-directional wave propagation by measuring vertical-directional DTV signal. Even if the field strength is above the reception threshold of $43dB{\mu}V/m$, the reception is impossible in case of strong multi-path or high impulse noise. So, vertical-directional field measurement is essential in environment of tall buildings. In this paper, we developed an octo type multi-copter to measure vertical-directional DTV signal level. A compact and portable DTV signal level meter, an antenna, a microwave transmitter for data transmission, and a recording equipment are equipped in the multi-copter. Three different sites are selected to test the measurement system. Developed measurement system using the multi-copter is very useful in measuring vertical-directional DTV signal, especially in apartments, non-accessible area by vehicles, and forbidden areas.

  • 도시화 속도의 증가와 더불어 3차원 자료 획득의 출처가 다양해지연서, 도로 및 건물경계선과 같은 선형 GIS 정보에 대한 신속한 갱신 또한 요구되고 있다. 임의의 출처 자료로부터 대상 자료를 갱신하기 위해서는 가장 먼저 두 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정하여야 하며, 특히 영상정보와 같은 출처 자료와 GIS 자료와 같은 대상 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정하기 위하여 기존에 제시되어온 대부분의 방법들은 두 개 자료간의 관계를 정의 할 수 있는 기준정과 같은 정확한 점 정합 요소(point matching entities)를 요구하고 있다. 따라서 정확한 정합 요소들을 획득할 수 없는 경우 영상과 GIS 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정할 수 없을뿐더러 위치 관계 정립의 결과는 정합 요소들의 분포 및 정확도에 매우 의존하게 된다. 또한 이러한 점 정합 요소들을 정의하기 위해서는 대부분의 경우 수동적으로 이루어질 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영상 및 GIS 자료의 선형 정보를 이용하여 정확한 점 정합 요소들을 모르더라도 영상과 GIS 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정할 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 사용된 알고리즘은 개선된 Hough 변환(Modified Hough Transform)을 기반으로 다수의 선형 정보 중에 정합되는 요소들을 자동으로 찾아내고 이들을 최소제곱법으로 풀이함으로써 두 데이터간의 기하학적 변환 관계를 결정하는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 접근을 통해 데이터간의 기하학적 변환 관계를 결정한 후, 영상 상에는 존재하지만 GIS 자료에는 존재하지 않는 선형 정보에 대한 갱신 여부를 확인하고 갱신함으로써 3차원 위치 자료의 자동 생성에 대한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.로 갈수록 퇴적이 우세한 것으로 관측되었다.보체계의 구축사업의 시각이 행정정보화, 생활정보화, 산업정보화 등 다양한 분야와 결합하여 보다 큰 시너지 효과와 사용자 중심의 서비스 개선을 창출할 수 있는 기반을 제공할 것을 기대해 본다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped.   • The homogeneous road section is defined as one consisted of similar traffic characteristics focused on demand and supply. The criteria, in the aspect of demand, are the diverging rate and the ratio of green time to cycle time at signalized intersection, and distance between the signalized intersections. The criteria, in that or supply, are the traffic patterns such as traffic volume and its speed. In this study, the effective method to generate valuable data, pointing out the problems of removal method of obscure data, is proposed using data collected from Gonjiam IC to Jangji IC on the national highway No.3. Travel times are collected with licence matching method and traffic volume and speed are collected from detectors. Futhermore, the method of selecting homogeneous road section is proposed considering demand and supply aspect simultaneously. This method using outlier filtering algorithm can be applied to generate the travel time forecasting model and to revise the obscured of missing data transmitting from detectors. The point and link data collected at the same time on the rational highway can be used as a basis predicting the travel time and revising the obscured data in the future.

Development of Freeway Traffic Incident Clearance Time Prediction Model by Accident Level (사고등급별 고속도로 교통사고 처리시간 예측모형 개발)

  • Nonrecurrent congestion of freeway was primarily caused by incident. The main cause of incident was known as a traffic accident. Therefore, accurate prediction of traffic incident clearance time is very important in accident management. Traffic accident data on freeway during year 2008 to year 2014 period were analyzed for this study. KNN(K-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm was hired for developing incident clearance time prediction model with the historical traffic accident data. Analysis result of accident data explains the level of accident significantly affect on the incident clearance time. For this reason, incident clearance time was categorized by accident level. Data were sorted by classification of traffic volume, number of lanes and time periods to consider traffic conditions and roadway geometry. Factors affecting incident clearance time were analyzed from the extracted data for identifying similar types of accident. Lastly, weight of detail factors was calculated in order to measure distance metric. Weight was calculated with applying standard method of normal distribution, then incident clearance time was predicted. Prediction result of model showed a lower prediction error(MAPE) than models of previous studies. The improve model developed in this study is expected to contribute to the efficient highway operation management when incident occurs.

Analysis of Lane-Changing Distribution within Merging and Weaving Sections of Freeways (고속도로 합류 및 엇갈림구간에서의 차로변경 분포 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The lane-change behavior usually consists of discretionary lane-change and mandatory lane-change types. For the first type, drivers change lanes selectively to maintain their own driving condition and the second type is the case that the drivers must change the current lane, which can occur in recurrent congestion sections like merging and weaving sections. The mandatory lane-change behavior have a great effect on the operation condition of freeway. In this paper, we first generate data such as traffic volumes, speeds, densities, and the number of lane-change within the merging and weaving sections using the data of individual vehicle collected from time-lapse aerial photography. And then, the data is divided into the stable and congested flow by analyzing the speed variation pattern of individual vehicles. In addition, the number of lane-changing from ramp to mainline within every 30-meter interval is investigated before and after traffic congestion at study sites and the distribution of lane-changing at each 30-meter point is analyzed to identify the variation of lane-changing ratio depending on the stable and congested flows. To recognize the effect of mainline flow influenced by ramp flow, this study also analyzes the characteristics of the lane-changing distributions within the lanes of mainline. The purpose of this paper is to present the basic theory to be used in developing a lane-changing model at the merging and weaving sections on freeways.

Development of Image-map Generation and Visualization System Based on UAV for Real-time Disaster Monitoring (실시간 재난 모니터링을 위한 무인항공기 기반 지도생성 및 가시화 시스템 구축)

  • The frequency and risk of disasters are increasing due to environmental and social factors. In order to respond effectively to disasters that occur unexpectedly, it is very important to quickly obtain up-to-date information about target area. It is possible to intuitively judge the situation about the area through the image-map generated at high speed, so that it can cope with disaster quickly and effectively. In this study, we propose an image-map generation and visualization system from UAV images for real-time disaster monitoring. The proposed system consists of aerial segment and ground segment. In the aerial segment, the UAV system acquires the sensory data from digital camera and GPS/IMU sensor. Communication module transmits it to the ground server in real time. In the ground segment, the transmitted sensor data are processed to generate image-maps and the image-maps are visualized on the geo-portal. We conducted experiment to check the accuracy of the image-map using the system. Check points were obtained through ground survey in the data acquisition area. When calculating the difference between adjacent image maps, the relative accuracy was 1.58 m. We confirmed the absolute accuracy of the image map for the position measured from the individual image map. It is confirmed that the map is matched to the existing map with an absolute accuracy of 0.75 m. We confirmed the processing time of each step until the visualization of the image-map. When the image-map was generated with GSD 10 cm, it took 1.67 seconds to visualize. It is expected that the proposed system can be applied to real - time monitoring for disaster response.

  • Because of abnormal weather, a heavy snow on the Northern latitudes occurs frequently. This has resulted in significant damage and recovery costs. In korea, it has been declared a special disaster area due to heavy snowfall in Gangneung and Pohang 2004, 2005 and 2011, so there was a revision of action instruction for the road snow removal. Although, in our current system, snow removing methodology, regional equipment holdings, and snow responsible interval, respectively, has been classified by the National Highway, near cities and provinces support system not yet prepared. Only, if snow removing is not possible within the region itself, which contained the contents of "support and assistance to military or nearby offices requests". In this thesis, we studied the disaster scenario development according to heavy snow and the response and support system to the features of each regional. For the scenario deduction, we preferentially collected day snowfall and disaster yearbook data to regionals, classified similar pattern and plotted GIS snow map. We also classified heavy snow disaster by region and type and we deduced five-step scenario. The five-step scenario is nationwide(1st-stage), the National Capital region(2nd-stage), the Chungcheong Provinces(3rd-stage), the Kangwon province(4th-stage) and the Ch?l a provinces(5th-stage). Therefore we build near provinces support system according to five-step scenario.

Crystal Structure Analysis of Uranium Oxides (산화우라늄의 결정구조 분석)

  • The crystal and defect structures of U $O_{x}$(x=2.0, 2.03, 2.14, 2.19, 2.20 and 2.26) were analysed by rietveld refinement and the results were compared to the U-O phase diagram. Neutron diffraction data were collected in the temperature range of RT~100$0^{\circ}C$. The specimens of x=2.14, 2.19, and 2.20 consisted of two phase: $UO_{2+x}$(Fm3m, a≒5.4$\AA$) and $U_4$$O_{9}$(I43d, a≒21.8$\AA$). The proportion of the $UO_{2+x}$(Fm3m) phase increased with increasing the temperature. The variation of the proportion of the two phases with temperature in the U $O_{2.2}$ and U $O_{2.18}$ samples showed some deviation from the expected values from the phase diagram especially at the high temperature range. The phase transitions ${\gamma}$longrightarrow$\beta$longrightarrow$\alpha$ of $U_4$$O_{9}$ were discussed in relation with the phase separation.eparation.ion.

Productivity Analysis on the Standard Quantity-Per-Unit Costing Method and Work Crew Combination Method : Focused on Non-Vibration Mass Excavation Method (무진동굴착공법의 일위대가방식과 작업조방식의 생산성 비교 분석)

  • Recently, the non-vibration mass excavation method is used on sewage pipes and road construction sites in Jeju. However, a construction cost estimation based on the unit quantity does not provide a proper unit price. In this study, a comparison of the productivity of the standard quantity-per-unit costing method and the one of the work crew combination method was made based on the site monitoring of the non-vibration mass excavation method that is used in construction sites near Jeju. For this, data of 35 sites were collected: a regression equation was derived from the 30 data, and verification was carried out through the remaining 5 data. The analysis concluded that a day's workload is $16.43m^3$. In addition, a combination of the equipment considering the site conditions and the amount of labor, which varies with the number of work crew was obtained in order to estimate the construction cost of the work crew combination method. The construction cost was calculated based on the one-day workload ($16.43m^3$) derived from the regression analysis. The cost then was analyzed and compared with the standard quantity-per-unit costing method.

GAP Estimation on Arterial Road via Vehicle Labeling of Drone Image (드론 영상의 차량 레이블링을 통한 간선도로 차간간격(GAP) 산정)

  • The purpose of this study is to detect and label the vehicles using the drone images as a way to overcome the limitation of the existing point and section detection system and vehicle gap estimation on Arterial road. In order to select the appropriate time zone, position, and altitude for the acquisition of the drone image data, the final image data was acquired by shooting under various conditions. The vehicle was detected by applying mixed Gaussian, image binarization and morphology among various image analysis techniques, and the vehicle was labeled by applying Kalman filter. As a result of the labeling rate analysis, it was confirmed that the vehicle labeling rate is 65% by detecting 185 out of 285 vehicles. The gap was calculated by pixel unitization, and the results were verified through comparison and analysis with Daum maps. As a result, the gap error was less than 5m and the mean error was 1.67m with the preceding vehicle and 1.1m with the following vehicle. The gaps estimated in this study can be used as the density of the urban roads and the criteria for judging the service level.
