Behavior of 2-Stage Injection on Diesel Spray (2단분사 디젤분무의 거동)

  • The behavior of the 2-stage spray was studied by using the schlieren method with the high pressure common-rail injection system. The spray injected 2 times with the interval of $0.3ms{\sim}1.5ms$ between the 1st and the 2nd spray in a modeled combustion chamber of constant volume bomb. In this case, the quantity of injected fuel of 1st and 2nd also changed. The schlieren photograph shows that the 2nd spray goes further away than the 1st spray when the quantity of the 1st spray is less than that of the 2nd spray. The dispersion of the vapour to the combustion chamber is not affect in a 10% of 1st spray quantity. When the 1st spray quantity is more than the 2nd spray, the vapour scattering of spray is good.

  • The era of IoT in which all objects are intelligent and are connected to the Internet has been started. In order to establish and activate an IoT eco system, open services platform is very important. In this paper, we developed a BLE sensor module as a component of the open service platform based on the IoT and the open source hardware Blutooth4.0. To verify the functionality and performance of the developed BLE sensor module was built to evaluate the performance of the test environment.

  • In this paper, experimental study on the wan impingement spray of the common-rail diesel injector is performed. To examine the effect of various factors on the development of spray impinging on the wall, experiments were conducted at the various injection pressures. ambient pressures, wan distances from the injector tip, wall temperatures, and angles of wall inclination. The behaviors of the impingement spray ate visualized by using laser sheet methods and a ICCD camera. It is shown that the spray path penetration of the wall impingement spray increases with the increase of injection pressure, wall distance. wall temperature, wall angle. On the other hand the spray path penetration of the wan impingement spray decreases with the increase of ambient pressure.

  • 실제 해양에서 동일 수심과 거리에서 둘 이상의 음선이 교차하여 형성되는 Caustic에서는 고전적인 (classical) 음선모델(ray model)에서 나타나는 무한대의 음압이 아니라 주변지역과 비교하여 다소 높은 정도의 음압을 나타낸다. 하지만 caustic이라 할 지라도 음선들이 도달하는 도달시간차(travel time difference)와 펄스길이(pulse length)의 변화에 따라 음압상승현상의 폭이 달라지며 때로는 음압이 상승이 나타나지 않는 경우도 있다. 본 연구에서는 음선모델을 이용하여 caustic위치를 추정하고 펄스길이를 변화시키면서 신호모의를 실시하였다. 모의결과 caustic은 수렴대(convergence zone) 및 도파관(duct)등 음선이 모이는 곳에 집중되어 나타났고 펄스길이의 면화에 따라 음압이 다르게 나타났다.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 보급과 대용량 멀티미디어 서비스에 대한 요구 증가로 댁내 또는 중소사업장에 대한 광대역 무선 액세스(Broadband Wireless Access) 수요가 증가하고 있다. 기존의 무선랜은 도달거리가 짧아서 이동 중일 때나 AP(Access Point)에서 멀어지면 통화품질이 저하되고, 무선인터넷은 사용 비용이 높다. 이를 보안한 광대역 무선 인터넷 시스템인 와이브로(WiBro: Wireless Broadband Internet)는 휴대폰과 무선랜의 중간 영역에 위치한 이동초고속인터넷서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.16 BWA을 기반으로 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 서비스별 트래픽 모델과 특성을 분석하고, 다양한 트래픽 혼합 비율에 따라 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 이를 토대로 최종적으로는 WiBro 시스템에서 수용 가능한 최대 가입자 수를 산출하였다.

  • A diesel engine is one of the major prime movers to its high thermal efficiency. But due to the recent attention far the environmental pollution, the emissions of diesel engine became to a important problem. So it is needed to understand the characteristics of diesel spray injected into a combustion chamber. The factor which controls the diesel spray are the injection pressure, the nozzle diameter, the impinging angle and the variation of pressure and temperature. In this paper, experiments were conducted far the variation of the environmental temperature(273k, 373k, 573k), free spray and impinging spray. And the notions of penetration, spray angle, axial distance for free spray, and axial distance, spray thickness from impinging wall fur impinging spray.

  • An experimental study was carried out to investigate the global spray behavior and spray characteristics of high-pressure fuel injector in the direct-injection goasoline enginet. The atomization characteristics of fuel spary such as mean droplet size, mean velocity , and velocity distribution were measured by the phase Doppler particle analyzer. The spray tip penetration and spray width were investigated by the result fo visualizaiton experiment. The quantitiative spary characteristics of injector spray were measured under various sparay conditions and ambient pressures. The results of experiment show that the increase in ambient pressure have influence on the spray tip penetration and spray development process. Also, the influence of injection pressure and measuring location on the mean velocity and droplet size distribution were discussed.

The factors which control the diesel fuel spray are the injection pressure, the nozzle diameter, the impinging angle and the variation of an ambient pressure and temperature. In this paper, the experiments were conducted in the free spray and the impinging spray with various ambient temperatures(273K, 373K, 573K). And the behaviors of the diesel fuel spray, such as penetration, spray angle and axial distance in the free spray and axial distance and spray thickness in the impinging spray were studied.

  • The IR-UWB radar system radiates a pulse whose width is several hundred pico sec at Tx antenna and check the time to receive the pulse that reflected from target to measure the TOA. In this paper, we present a new algorithm which supplement the conventional ranging algorithm for more accurate estimation. We get received signal data using IR-UWB Radar module which equipped a NVA6000 UWB Transceiver and analysis the data of multi-path. Consequently, we found the property of UWB multi-path signal, which best fit a Gamma distribution. so we present a algorithm using Gamma-distribution and compared a performance with conventional ranging algorithm.

  • We introduce a user authentication system using distance estimation and a simple challenge response protocol based on a pre-established key. Using the time difference of arrival between an RF signal and an ultrasonic signal, an authenticator verifies if a user's authentication token is within its threshold distance, and it also verifies if the token's response to its random challenge is valid. We implement our authentication system and we analyze the success rates for authentication according to the variations in the distances and facing angles between the authenticator and the token. Our experimental results show that the token is authenticated with very high probability in reasonable settings.
