A Situation-Based Dialogue Management with Dialogue Examples (대화 예제를 이용한 상황 기반 대화 관리 시스템)

  • In this paper, we present POSSDM (POSTECH Situation-Based Dialogue Manager) for a spoken dialogue system using a new example and situation-based dialogue management techniques for effective generation of appropriate system responses. Spoken dialogue system should generate cooperative responses to smoothly control dialogue flow with the users. We introduce a new dialogue management technique incorporating dialogue examples and situation-based rules for EPG (Electronic Program Guide) domain. For the system response inference, we automatically construct and index a dialogue example database from dialogue corpus, and the best dialogue example is retrieved for a proper system response with the query from a dialogue situation including a current user utterance, dialogue act, and discourse history. When dialogue corpus is not enough to cover the domain, we also apply manually constructed situation-based rules mainly for meta-level dialogue management.

  • 언어 병리학에서는 연령별 대화 능력 발달에 관한 연구에 관심이 많다. 하지만 이러한 연구는 많은 시간과 비용이 소모된다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 대화 능력 발달의 많은 연구 중 한 가지 방법인 화제 변경을 Sent2Vec을 이용하여 자동적으로 탐지해주는 방법을 제안한다. 아동의 연속된 두 발화를 비교하여 화제의 변경을 Sent2Vec의 코사인 유사도를 통해 찾아냈다. 본 연구에서는 언어 병리학에서의 연구 결과와 비교를 하기 위해 초등학생 1학년, 3학년, 5학년 집단의 데이터를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법의 결과와 언어 병리학에서 연구한 결과의 상관관계가 99.95%로 매우 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 화제 변경 탐지를 자동화함으로써, 언어 연구에 필요한 시간과 비용을 크게 절감할 수 있다.

  • This paper is a study on the relationship of archives and writing. Writing is an big issue these days. Archival studies need to be interested with writings. It's not just about writing skills. Archival studies have to try archiving more good relationships. Symbiotic approach can be worth the efforts. The main focus of this paper is on the writing in archives workshop. Archives workshop is a good place where writing and archiving have a symbiotic relationships. Writing is an archival try to invite the values of 'requests, inquiring after, observes, conversation' to archives. These archival practices can contribute the symbiotic approach to constructed archives.

Analysis of Communication of Dental Hygienist in Oral Hygiene Instruction during Scaling (치과위생사의 스케일링시 구강보건교육의 의사소통분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual condition of communication of dental hygienist in oral hygiene instruction during scaling. The research was intended for 67 dental hygienists who worked dental hospitals and clinics. Oral hygiene instruction during scaling was audiotaped. Pearson correlation analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and chi-squared test were conducted. The results gained by the research were as follows. An analysis of 67 dental hygienists has found that 63 dental hygienists (94%) educated the patients with dentiform and 65 of them (97%) did rolling method. Thirty-three of them (49.3%) recommended oral care products to the patients. Only 14 of all educators (21%) said simple greetings and educated importance of care of subjects' teeth, side effect of scaling, when they finished all the scaling stage. The average time of oral hygiene education was 161.3 seconds. In detail, the dental hygienists told 155.0 seconds, the patients did 6.3 seconds on average. The percentage of education time without patients' comments and dialogue each other were 35.8% and 37.3% respectively. The conversation frequency according to the education level of dental hygienist showed significant difference (p<0.05). There was a negative correlation between total education time and patients coming for scaling per day and there was a positive correlation between total number of questions and patient talking time. The result of chi-squared test showed that there was significant difference on asking regards depending on setting a limitation of scaling time (p<0.05). The research showed that the dental hygienists seem to educate the patients mechanically, uniformly rather than educate them according to their oral hygiene condition.

  • 감성공학이 G7과제의 하나로 시작되면서 다양한 감성평가 실험들이 수행되어 수많은 실험데이터가 생성되었지만, 효율적인 관리체계의 부재로 인해 많은 노력과 비용이 투자된 가치있는 감성평가 데이터가 자료의 공유 및 활용이라는 측면에서 여러 가지 문제점을 내포하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 주거ㆍ사무환경에서 인간의 감성을 지표화하는 6개 분야의 감성기반기술개발 연구과제에서 생성된 피험자의 생리신호 및 주관적 감성평가 데이터를 통합 관리할 수 있는 종합적인 감성정보관리시스템을 설계하였다. 이 정보 시스템은 사용자에게 정교한 GUI와 높은 대화성(interaction)을 제공하기 위해 2계층 클라이언트/서버 구조로 설계하였다.

  • The physical attributes of a computer, such as processor speed, size and access time of memory, and I/O bandwidth, are fixed when the computer is delivered to the user. Under these conditions, the performance of a multi-process system where multiple processes share various resources can be enhanced by monitoring and controlling the relationship between the user processes and the system resources. This paper applies object oriented concept to the performance management and suggests a standard for the management. Resource managers and user processes are defined as managed object and a performance manager is defined as a managing object. A protocol between the user processes and performance manager is designed and attributes and methods of the objects are also defined. Through the standardization, the user processes and the performance manager can be developed independently and the system's performance can also be collectively managed.

  • 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 사용자간의 통신수단 및 자신을 표현하는 하나의 수단으로 사용되면서 다양한 정보를 보유하고 있다. 이러한 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 모바일 디바이스를 통하여 사용하는 사용자가 늘어 가고 있다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 컴퓨터 디바이스를 통하여 사용하는 경우 컴퓨터 디바이스 내부에는 캐쉬, 히스토리와 같은 일반적인 웹 서비스 이용 로그 기록을 남기게 된다. 모바일 디바이스를 사용하여 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 이용하는 경우 원활한 서비스 이용을 위하여 사용자의 개인 정보, 친구 정보, 대화 내용과 같은 유출되면 악용 될 수 있는 민감한 정보를 모바일 디바이스 내부에 저장하여 서비스 한다. 이러한 민감한 데이터는 적절한 보안 관리가 실행되어야 한다. 하지만, 다양한 보안 취약점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 모바일 소셜 네트워크 서비스 데이터 관리 보안 취약점에 대하여 분석하고 대응방안에 대하여 연구한다.

Efficient Semantic Structure Analysis of Korean Dialogue Sentences using an Active Learning Method (능동학습법을 이용한 한국어 대화체 문장의 효율적 의미 구조 분석)

  • In a goal-oriented dialogue, speaker's intention can be approximated by a semantic structure that consists of a pair of a speech act and a concept sequence. Therefore, it is very important to correctly identify the semantic structure of an utterance for implementing an intelligent dialogue system. In this paper, we propose a model to efficiently analyze the semantic structures based on an active teaming method. To reduce the burdens of high-level linguistic analysis, the proposed model only uses morphological features and previous semantic structures as input features. To improve the precisions of semantic structure analysis, the proposed model adopts CRFs(Conditional Random Fields), which show high performances in natural language processing, as an underlying statistical model. In the experiments in a schedule arrangement domain, we found that the proposed model shows similar performances(92.4% in speech act analysis and 89.8% in concept sequence analysis) to the previous models although it uses about a third of training data.

Real-time Task Aware Memory Allocation Techniques for Heterogeneous Mobile Multitasking Environments (이종 모바일 멀티태스킹 환경을 위한 실시간 작업 인지형 메모리 할당 기술 연구)

  • Recently, due to the rapid performance improvement of smartphones and the increase in background executions of mobile apps, multitasking has become common on mobile platforms. Unlike traditional desktop and server apps, response time is important in most mobile apps as they are interactive tasks, and some apps are classified as real-time tasks with deadlines. In this paper, we discuss how to meet the requirements of heterogeneous multitasking in managing memory of real-time and interactive tasks when they are executed together on a smartphone. To do so, we analyze the memory requirement of real-time tasks, and propose a model that has the ability of allocating memory to multitasking tasks on a smartphone. Trace-driven simulations with real-world storage access traces captured by heterogeneous apps show that the proposed model provides reasonable performance for interactive tasks while guaranteeing the requirement of real-time tasks.

  • 세계는 개방화되어 가고 있으며, 이에 따라 정보의 가치가 더욱 중요하게 되고 있다. 국가와 기업이 경쟁에서 살아남기 위해서 정보의 효율적인 관리와 공유, 그리고 가치 있는 정보로 가공하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 환경에서 등장한 것이 EDI이다. XML/EDl는 전통적인 EDI의 단점을 해결하며 표준의 한가지 접근방법으로 개방적이고 사용자간의 상호 대화가 가능하며 객체지향적 이라는 특징을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML을 EDI에 도입함으로써 대규모의 전자 상거래의 자동화를 가능하게 하며 고비용, 저효율적인 EDI 문제점을 해결하는 XML을 활용한 EDI시스템의 설계 및 구현의 한 방안을 제시한다.
