  • Student pilots receiving flight education are inexperienced in piloting and situation judgment skills and are greatly affected by various factors such as psychological, physical, and environmental factors. In particular, one of the most influential factors in the flight education of student pilots is the weather conditions. Unlike large aircraft used in the air transportation business, small aircraft used for flight education have a great impact on education, such as flight restrictions depending on weather conditions, psychological pressure in severe weather, and deterioration of student skills. Therefore, in this study, the meteorological characteristics of meteorological factors that have a great influence on small aircraft were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, an efficient and safe training operation method was suggested to a professional pilot aviation training organization through the adjustment of the training period for the season, the increase in aircraft operation rate, and a safe solo flight plan considering the weather.

A Study on the Influencing Factors of Falling Disaster in Small and Medium-sized Construction Sites (중소형 건설현장의 추락재해 영향요인 분석 연구)

  • This research aims to identify risk factors for fall accidents at small and medium-sized construction sites through a comprehensive regression analysis. Initially, the study involved collecting a decade's worth of fall accident data from these sites. A t-test confirmed a significant variation in the treatment duration following fall accidents between two distinct groups: small and medium-sized versus large construction sites. Subsequently, a regression analysis was conducted to establish a model highlighting the risk factors associated with safety accidents. The factors influencing fall accidents were determined to be, in descending order of impact, the time of the accident, the day of the accident, and the occupational classification. The findings from this study are expected to serve as foundational data for enhancing policies and conducting statistical analyses tailored to construction site sizes. They also provide crucial information for future research on risk quantification at small and medium-sized construction sites.

Spatial Estimation of Priestley-Taylor Based Potential Evapotranspiration Using MODIS Imageries: the Nak-dong river basin (MODIS 인공위성 이미지를 이용한 Priestley-Taylor 기반 공간 잠재 증발산 산정: 낙동강 유역을 중심으로)

  • The evapotranspiration (ET) is one of the most important factor in the hydrological cycle. In this study, remote sensing based ET algorithm using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) was considered. Then, Priestley-Taylor algorithm was used for estimation of potential evapotranspiration in South Korea, and its spatial distribution was analyzed. Overall applicability between estimated potential evapotranspiration and weather station pan evaporation in Nakdong river basin was represented. The results using small pan showed that correlation coefficient in Pohang and Moonkyung Station was 0.70 and 0.55, respectively. However, the results using large pan showed correlation coefficient in Pohang and Moonkyung Station was 0.62 and 0.52, respectively.

미국 및 일본의 석회석 광산 견학보고

  • $\cdot$ 일에서 기 개발 운영되고 있는 대형 노천 광산 및 광산 장비 제작 공장에 대한 전반적인 실태 파악을 통하여 향후 대형화로 국제 규모화될 당사 석회석 광산의 운영 및 기술적인 방향을 모색코저 함이 금번 출장의 목적이었다. 이에 당사 광산분야 기술자 6명으로 team을 구성, 76년 하반기에 약 1개월은 미국에서, 약 1개월은 일본에서 양국 굴지의 10여 open pit mine 및 3개 장비 메이카를 방문 견학하였다. 금번 방문결과 다음과 같은 점을 느꼈다. 첫째 금번 당사의 560만톤 증설은 사실상 미 $\cdot$ 일을 앞지르고 국제적으로 굴지의 규모임을 확인할 수 있었고 둘째 광상의 지리적 여건 비교에서는 미국의 것에는 뒤지나 일본의 조건에 비해서는 우리의 것이 결코 악조건이 아니며 세계 특히 일본 석회석 광산업계가 안고 있는 제반문제점의 심각성(광구 경계 인접에 따른 분쟁, 시가지 인접에 따른 공해문제, 개발 여건의 불량 등)에 비추어 볼 때 국내광산 기술자들의 노력 여하에 따라 일본은 충분한 경쟁대상이 될 수 있으며 국내 시멘트업계, 광산의 지리적 지질적 여건상 일본광산보다 더욱 우수한 광산을 만들 수 있다는 자신감을 얻었다. 그러나 첫째 장기적인 측면에서의 광산 개발의 결여, 둘째 맥석과 폐토 처리 및 quarry QC의 불가피성, 셋째 사회적 요소의 낙후(M.S 뇌관부재, 메이카 출장에 의한 장비의 수리, 화약류의 산원(山元) 혼합사용 등) 등은 두드러진 우리의 결함이라고 느꼈으며 이들 결함의 시정, 보완을 위해서 사내외적으로 기존질서의 재검토가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. 미 $\cdot$ 일 광산에서 일반화되어 있는 radio(walkie-talkie) system 및 electric shovel, 주우시멘트사 산구사무소에서 시도된 belt반전장치, 인력의 확대관리 등은 조기도입하여 실용화 할 수 있는 대상이라 생각하며 일철의 조형산개발(72년 생산 개시, 광산 개발비 200억원, 년산능력 800만톤)은 괄목할만한 것이었다. 또한 앞으로 국내업계 여건이 허락하는 한 광산 기술자의 해외파견 회수를 증가시켜 더 많은 사람들이 직접 보고 느끼어 우리의 것을 개선 창조해 나갈 수 있는 기회를 많이 가져 국내는 물론, 국제 경쟁에 대처할 수 있는 업계 기술자의 자질 향상을 바란다.

Fire Resistance Performance of Precast Segmental Concrete Lining for Shield Tunnel (쉴드 터널용 프리캐스트 세그먼트 콘크리트 라이닝의 내화성능)

  • Reinforced concrete (RC) shield tunnel lining must be designed for fireproof performance because the lining is sometimes exposed to very high temperature due to traffic accidents. Both experimental and numerical studies are carried out to evaluate fire resistance performance of precast RC tunnel lining systems. In the experimental studies, six full-scale precast RC tunnel segments are exposed to fire in order to examine the influence of various parameters on the fire resistance performance of precast RC tunnel lining. We used the temperature curve of the RABT criteria, which are severe conditions of fire temperatures. The fire test showed that the explosive spalling was not observed by substituting concrete to PP fiber reinforced concrete. A transient heat flow analysis was carried out in consideration of the material properties that change with temperature, and the results showed good agreement with the test results.

  • Full-length Animation has been producing very actively with a large of U.S.A and growing rapidly as a pare of entertainment industry since the middle of the 1990's. However, in actual fact, Korea Animation doesn't have any characteristics as compared with Japan Animation & U.S.A Animation's growth. It is owing to in financial difficulty and that there's no conversion about consciousness that Animation is only for children. This study is constructed with color information as the central figure from a gradation of information delivery and analyzed ‘Image Color’ of full-length animation which is produced by large studio in U.S.A. This study predicts about past, present and future of animation centering around a color that visual sensitivity factor which recognize enormous information very quickly among sensitivity stimulus of human being. With this study analysis a color of U.S.A animation, looking for sensitivity color factor that react to elaborate and delicate stimulus, and then expressed color from developed animation skill apply to sensitivity industry.

  • 선박은 화물 및 여객을 수송하는 해상교통 수단으로써 여객 및 승무원의 안락성, 탑재장비, 기기의 성능 보전 상, 화물 및 구조부재의 안전성 차원에서 진동제어가 주요 해결 기술의 하나이다. 또한 최근 선박의 대형화, 고속화로 인해 엔진과 프로펠러의 기진력은 커지는데 반해 구조 강도계산 기술의 발달로 인해 선체구조 경량화가 촉진되어 선체의 유연성이 커질 뿐 아니라 전통적인 선체 구조와 기관, 축계 강성사이의 균형이 깨어짐으로 선박의 진동제어는 더욱 중요시 되고 있다. 선박의 경우 건조 후에 진동제어를 위한 조치를 취하는 일은 매우 제한적이고 많은 비용이 들기 때문에 설계단게에서 선박진동제어를 위한 사전 노력이 충분히 이루어지는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 선박의 주 기진원인 프로펠러, 주기관 등의 기진력 자체를 적정화하는 노력과 함께 그로 인한 응답을 극소화하기 위해 설계 단계부터 인도까지 단게별로 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 단계별 진동제어의 한 예를 Fig.1에서 보여주고 있다[1]. 선체와 같이 복잡한 대형구조물의 진동특성 및 응답을 계산함에 있어서 컴퓨터의 발달과 유한요소법과 같은 해석기술의 발달로 실제 구조와 매우 유사한 3차원 모델링이 가능하게 되어 해석의 정도를 높일 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 프로펠러 기진력, 유체와의 연성효과, 감쇠특성 등을 정도 높게 산정하는 데는 아직도 많은 어려움이 있다. 이와같은 문제는 진동응답의 계산정도를 저하시키는 주요 요인이 되어 설게단계에서 충분히 진동 제어가 이루어졌다 하더라도 건조 후 실제운항 시 진동문제가 발생되는 경우가 있다. 건조 후 진동문제 발생시 구조변경을 통한 해결은 한계가 있기 때문에 각종 진동제어 장치의 연구개발이 최근에 활발히 이루어지고 있다[2]. 본 고에서는 설계단계에서부터 건조 후까지의 선박진동제어 과정[1,2,5,6]을 단계별로 고찰하여, 점점 까다로워져 가는 선박 진동규제[3,4]에 대처하고 승무원의 안락성에 대한 욕구, 구조물의 안전성, 장비의 성능보존이 만족되는 저진동 선박의 건조를 위해 향후 해결해야할 과제들을 도출하여 선박진동분야이 연구개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Shear Strength of the Vertical Joints in Precast Concrete Large Panel Structures (대형 콘크리트 판넬구조의 수직접합부 전단강도에 관한 연구)

  • The strength of vertical joints of precast concrete large panel structures depends on the many factors, such as the bond strength of grout concrete (or mortar), the interlocking of the shear keys, the dowel action of horizontal bars. Many experimental studies have been conducted to in vestigate the shear strength of the vertical joints. In domestic, a few design formulas to predict shear strength of the vertical joint were proposed by some investigators, but formulas were based on limited experimental results. The objective of this paper is to propose a suitable formula for the shear strength of vertical joints with 94 vertical joints experimental data using the modified Mohr-Coulomb's 4ield theory and regression analysis. From the comparison of the proposed formula with others, it is shown that the proposed formula can be used economically for the design of vertical joints.

Analyses of Actual State and Structural Safety of Regionally Characterized Greenhouses in Korea (지역별 특성화 온실의 실태 및 구조적 안전성)

  • Recently, regionally characterized greenhouses have been built every place around the country. These greenhouses insist of their higher performance by considering regional merits than the greenhouses without considering regional ones, but it is not clear. The purpose of this study was to make clear the characteristics of the regionally characterized greenhouses through the analyses of actual state and structural safety. The greenhouses were investigated and classified into wide span house, large pipe house, arched lattice house, wooden house, viniculture house, and domed pipe house. The frames of wide span house, arched truss house, viniculture house and domed pipe house were analyzed to be structurally stable under the design wind speeds and snow depths in recurrence intervals of 15 or 30 years, but large pipe house was a little unstable and required some reinforcements, and wooden house turned out to be unstable. In addition, foundations of all characterized greenhouses were stable against pull - out capacity under the design wind speeds in recurrence interval of 30 years.

The Empirical Analysis of Differences in Recognition of the Genders in the Media Facade (LED 미디어파사드에 있어 남녀에 따른 인지정도의 실증분석)

  • Recently, the Department has utilized the media facade as a means to attract new customers and promotional tools. In particular, we checked the rate of customer's gender who visited a large department store. The ratio of women's visit is 4.6 times more than men. This can confirm the need to produce a differentiated content of LED media facade by gender. This study are subject to an empirical analysis of differences of perception of evaluation factors of media facade in gender. At first we specified four factors which can evaluate the media facade according to gender by previous studies. There are aesthetics, artistry, comfort and harmony. And the hypothesis was set as "Each factor might be differences between the recognition of their gender" In order to verify a hypothesis the country's large department store was selected and experiment was performed. In the result of the experiment, among the four factors, aesthetics, creativity, and harmony were chosen, while comfort was dismissed. This results confirm that the following factors are needed to attract more women's customer at the department such as combination of space and media facade, combination of shape and color, appropriateness of the information and beautiful place, and directing way of content.
