  • Recently, the retail industry has created efficient store operations, and has differentiated customer service through the future store. The intelligence of these stores is being applied by using technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), and the business process is being improved through this. The process also focuses on efficient store operations and service developments to provide customers with shopping convenience. The change in trends in the industry means that domestic distribution has already reached maturity. Even in countries where retail industries are mature, such as the U.S. and Europe, recent trends are moving toward maximizing operational efficiency and customer service. The reason is that many retailers have already reached saturation and survived the competition. This paper is a study of a drive-through service for automation and efficiency in receiving service after ordering by a customer of the distribution store. When ordering a product being purchased by a customer, the product picking process is done in a timely fashion through a picking scheduling agent. When the customer enters the store parking lot, a service supports the entry of information and finding a parking place so the customer can quickly pick up the goods. The proposed service can be applied to a retail store drive-through system, the distribution store's delivery system, the digital picking system, and indoor/outdoor large parking management systems, and it is possible to provide one-dimensional customer service through the application of IoT technology.

A Study on the Airflow near the Cold Heat Source Using CFD in Merchandising Store (CFD를 이용한 대형매장 냉열원 주변의 공기유동에 관한 연구)

  • This paper performed to predict vertical temperature distribution and air flow near cold heat source in the mass merchandising store. At the height of 150 cm, the vertical air temperature difference between the results of CFD and of measurement field showed $10\%$ near the refrigeration zone and $8.8\%$ near the freezing zone. Therefore, it regarded as appropriate for the using CFD to investigate airflow near the heat sources. The 3 kinds of CFD model were divided by the disposition of diffuser/exhaust and diffuser air temperature. At the refrigeration and freezing zone in the Model 2 and 3, the temperature difference between the front and the back of human model were showed $6.8^{\circ}C\;and\;3.9^{\circ}C$ with diffuser air temperature $17^{\circ}C$ and were showed $6.8^{\circ}C$ and $4^{\circ}C$ with diffuser air temperature $19^{\circ}C$.

Microbial Contamination Levels of Fresh Vegetables Distributed in Markets (유통 중인 신선 채소류의 미생물 오염도 평가)

  • This study monitored and compared the contamination levels of total aerobic bacteria, coliforms, Escherichia coli, and L. monocytogenes of either lettuce, sesame leaf, or cucumber sampled from either 15 super markets(SM) or 21 traditional markets(TM) located in both Seoul and the southern part of Gyunggi. Contamination levels of total aerobic bacteria and coliforms in lettuce, sesame leaf, or cucumber from SM or TM were not (p>0.05) significantly different. The highest contamination levels of total aerobic bacteria were observed in lettuce and followed by sesame leaf and cucumber. The contamination levels of total aerobic bacteria in lettuce, sesame leafs, and cucumbers were $7.01{\pm}0.14\;log_{10}CFU/g(SM)$ and $7.10{\pm}0.11\;log_{10}CFU/g(TM)$, $6.69{\pm}0.20\;log_{10}CFU/g(SM)$ and $6.44{\pm}0.13\;log_{10}CFU/g(TM)$, and $5.37{\pm}0.25 \;log_{10}CFU/g(SM)$ and $5.27{\pm}0.19\;log_{10}CFU/g(TM)$, respectively. A similar pattern of contamination rank was observed with the coliforms in three vegetables as was observed with the total aerobic bacteria E. coli were not significantly (p>0.05) different between SM and TM and isolated over $30\%$ in lettuce and sesame leaf and below $10\%$ in cucumbers. L. monocytogenes were not detected in all three vegetables(ND: cucumber <3 CFU/g, lettuce and sesame leaf <10 CFU/g). The microbial contamination levels determined in the present study may be used as the primary data to execute microbial risk assessment of fresh vegetables.

  • 현재 대형 마트에서 '미래형 매장(Future Store)' 을 구현하기 위하여 스마트 카트를 운영하고 있다. 스마트카트의 운영은 고객에게 물품의 정보, 해당 물품의 위치, 구매한 물품의 리스트 등 다양한 정보를 제공해주며 고객들에게 우수한 서비스를 제공한다. 하지만, 이런 스마트 카트는 큰 단점을 포함하고 있어, 많은 매장에 상용화 되기란 어려움이 예상된다. 이를 해결하기 위하여, 요즘 화제가 되고 있는 스마트폰을 이용하여 스마트 카트의 우수한 서비스를 제공하고자 한다.

  • This study aims to improve the Evacuation Performance o( the I)inc()unto-store in underground that is rapidly new shopping store in Korea. In this paper, The architectural properties of the floor plan and section was reviewed with egress focus, occupant load density of the Discount-store was surveyed and the procedure and method of performance based egress design for this occupancy was analysed with SIMULEX model and calculation method. As a result of modeling, more longer available safe egress time (ASET) is expected than required safe egress time (RSET)in underground discount-store. In order to improve the Evacuation Performance for this type occupancy, egress capacity including escape stair, aisle width, escape door is calculated with based on occupant load density and review of shopping cart's structure and size and maximum escape capacity of the cash counter.

  • 20년 전인 1993년 11월 12일 우리나라 대표 대형마트인 이마트(대표이사 허인철)가 탄생했다. 그리고 지금으로부터 4년 전인 2009년 12월 21일에는 아름다운 청풍명월의 고장인 충북 제천시에 제127호 이마트 매장이 들어서게 된다. 이마트 제천점은 연매출 600억 원의 점포로, 직영사원 140명과 매장협력임대사원 300명의 상생협력을 통해 제천시 강제동 유통업무지역의 대표적인 대형할인점으로 굳건히 자리 잡았다. 이곳 이마트 제천점의 안전을 책임지고 있는 권오일 안전팀장은 오픈 점포와 유독이 인연이 있으면서 '오픈 점포의 안전달인'이라는 별명을 가지고 있다. 2003년 신세계 이마트에 입사하여 청주점, 아산점, 그리고 현재 제첨점까지. 그가 몸담아 왔던 곳이 모두 오픈점이었는데, 오픈 점포에 맞는 안전시스템 구축에 탁월한 역량을 발휘하면서, 청주점 무재해 3배, 아산점 무재해 2배, 제천점 무재해 3배 달성 등을 이끌어왔다. 이로 인해 안전보건공단 공로표창장 및 상패(3회), 대전지방고용노동청 청주지청 및 충주지청장 표창(2회) 등 많은 공적을 남겼다.
