The purpose of this study was to analyze the parental consultations, patients' age and consulters. Also it was to improve the tendency of consultation homepage The subjects were 2485 questions on Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Homepage except deleted questions which were not related with consultations. The examined contents were categorized into patients' age, counseling contents, consulters. The results were as follows: 1. Patients mostly belonged to preschool children(64.29%). 2. In the subjects, questions were mostly about growth and development, restorative and pulp treatment. 3. In the subdivided subjects, great part of questions were about tooth eruption, restorative and pulp treatment and trauma. 4. The 93.72% of consulters were mothers. 5. We should reinforce with FAQ about growth and development, restorative and pulp treatment and trauma. Also we should improve on quality of information and childcare related contents and Homepage related pediatric dentistry.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the parental consultation. Also, it was to investigate the tendency divided into different subjects. The subjects were 2142 questions on korean academy of pediatric dentistry homepage. The questions were categorized into 7 subjects, 37 subdivided subjects and children age. The results were as follows: 1. Age group was divided into $0{\sim}6months$, $7{\sim}12months$, $13{\sim}24months$, $25{\sim}36months$, $3{\sim}6years$, $7{\sim}12years$ 12years and over 13 years. $13{\sim}24months$ and $3{\sim}6years$ age group had the largest number of questions. 2. The subject were growth & development, development disturbance & oral disease, behavior management, operative & endodontic treatment, dentition & occlusal guidance, traumatic injury & surgery and etc. Development disturbance & oral disease had the largest number of questions. 3. In subdivided subjects, operative & endodontic treatment showed the most, followed by development & eruption of teeth, traumatic injury, cross-bite, tooth brushing methods in sequence. 4. In age group within subdivided subjects, the most frequent question was neonatal & natal tooth in $0{\sim}6months$, development & eruption of teeth in $7{\sim}12months$, $13{\sim}24months$, operative & endodontic treatment in $25{\sim}36months$, $3{\sim}6years$, time & method of orthodontics in $7{\sim}12years$ and operative & endodontic treatment in over 13years. 5. The questions about cross-bite, traumatic injury and soft tissue disease were distributed evenly in age group.

The moderners of industrial society suffer from various stresses, which bring about increase in prevalence of temporomandibular disorders, oral mucosal disease and chronic neuropathic pain, therefore, the number of patients seeking help of those symptoms tend to increase. The purpose of this study was to discuss the importance of oral medicine related disease by investigating questions that appeared in cyber consultation of Kangnung National University Dental Hospital web site. Among the nearly 2000 questions, the rate of questions related to oral medicine was 20.92%, and the rate of questions related to other departments were oral and maxillofacial surgery 16.87%, conservative dentistry 16.67%, orthodontics 14.02%, prosthodontics 12.25%, periodontics 8.36%, pediatric dentistry 4.93%, preventive dentistry 2.08% and otherwise questions 3.90%. Among the 403 questions related to oral medicine, the frequent questions were oral mucosal diseases 44.17%, temporomandibular disorders 41.19%, halitosis 4.47%, xerostomia 3.23%, other orofacial pain 2.23%, forensic dentistry 1.49% and otherwise questions 2.98%. From the higher rate of questions related to oral medicine compared with other fields of dentistry, we would consider that the people are considerably concerned about the oral medicine related disease, such as oral mucosal diseases and temporomandibular disorders.
