The primary purpose of the study was to review both domestic and international literature and intervention programs designed from an ecological perspective in dealing with issues on family welfare. This study cites several research evidence that indicates why an ecological model is a relevant alternative to investigate issues in family welfare. The strengths of the ecological approach and limitations of the present study were discussed. Suggestions for future research were made based on the review of literature.

Home Economics has been confronted with many disciplinary challenges in and/or out of it. We, as the home-economists, have to find out ourselves and re-identify Home Economics. This study aims to analyze the treatises reported on KHERJ through the contents classification for the purpose of establishing the academic identification of Home Economics. Korean Home economics Research Journal made its first appearance in 1959 and has been published serial number 100 at the end of 1994. At this moment, it seems to be valuable to identify the state(tendency) of researches during that time, So this study analyzed the contents of all articles91165) printed in the Journal of Korean Home Economics Association from 1959 to 1994. In this study, articles were classified by subject matter(theme categories), relevant facts of researcher, research method, etc. The results of the study were indicated by the publication state(situation) of Journal, status and place of colleges and universities of head researcher, number of articles according to college and universities, distribution of subject matter, number of researcher, research fund, transition of subject matter, research method according to subject matter, and transition of statistic technique applied and research objects.

가정교과는 역사적으로 '가정생활의 향상'이나 '가정생활에서의 문제 해결 능력 함양' 등 외재적 목적에 의하여 정당화 되어왔지만, 가정교과의 현실적 상황은 가정교과의 교육내용 자체의 가치에 의한 정당화와 내재적 목적에 대한 이론적 규명을 요구하고 있다. 본 연구는 가정과교육의 내재적 목적을 규명하기 위하여 가정교과의 교육내용으로서 가정학의 지식을 가르치는 것이 교육철학적으로 어떤 의미가 있는지 밝히고자 하였다. 학문중심 교육과정의 관점을 받아들일 때, 가정학은 가정생활 현상에 관한 독자적인 개념, 원리, 지식을 체계화한 '지식의 구조'이며 가정교과의 교육내용으로서 고유하고 독자적인 의미를 가진다. 가정과교육의 내재적 가치와 목적은 이러한 교육내용 안에 들어 있으며, 그 교육내용에서 논리적으로 추론되어 나온다. 가정교과의 내재적 목적은 학습자가 가정교과의 교육내용을 잘 이해하여 일상생활의 사태를 가정학적 관점으로 바라볼 수 있는 안목을 형성하고 확장해나가는 데 있다. 학습자는 이러한 '지적 안목'을 바탕으로 가정생활의 실제 사태에서 주어진 상황을 제대로 '해석'하고 '판단'할 수 있게 된다. '가정생활에 대한 지적 안목'은 가정생활과 관련된 모든 생각과 말과 행동의 원천이 된다는 점에서 가정생활에서의 실제적 문제 해결을 의미 있게 하는 토대가 된다. 따라서 종래의 가정과교육내용이 가정생활에 관한 단편적인 지식이나 사실로 파악되었다면, 가정생활에 대해 폭넓은 안목의 형성에 기여하는 가정학의 지식의 구조로 새롭게 해석되어야 한다. 나아가 가정학 지식의 이해가 학습자의 '가정생활에 관한 지적 안목'으로 통합되도록 가르친다면 가정과교육의 내재적 목적이 실현될 것으로 기대된다.

This is a study of divorce cases under new family law in Korea specifically during the period of May 1991 to November 1995. This study comprises 33 cases that appeared on two daily newspapers, Chosun-ilbo and Kookmin-ilbo during that period. This study contains the analysis on the rights of Korean women at the time of divorce.

Interest in family living culture is decreasing in Korea, compared to interest in culture technology and culture industry which are rapidly increasing. Although expenditure on cultural activities is generally increasing, activities that are most preferred are concentrated on personal leisure or public performances. This study takes an in-depth look at the underlying issues related to family living culture in order to highlight its necessity and importance to productive family life. For this purpose, the dynamics of past and current family living culture in Korea are analyzed, with a particular focus on the role of education. Trial family living culture program are suggested based on overall findings.

The purpose of this study was to investigate a framework for family stress management. The subjects were 287 housewives habitated in Seoul. Cronbach's α, Pearson's r, Factor analysis, ANOVA, Frequency, Percent, Duncan's Multiple Range Test were conducted for the purpose of the study.

The composition of human milk was compared with that of cow's milk. The contents of amino acids were analyzed by amino acid autoanalyzer. The content of glutamic acid in cow's milk was three times as much as that in human milk. The content of essential amino acid in human colostrum was twice as much as that in mature milk.
