IS/IT 기술 및 지식에 대한 충북 지역 IS 실무자 재교육 수요 조사

  • 본 연구에서는 청주와 그 인근 지역에서 정보시스템을 개발하거나 운영하고 있는 업체의 IS 실무자들에게 (1) IS 실무자의 업무 수행 성과, (2) 소프트웨서 및 IT 전문기술수준, (3) IS 지식 및 능력 수준, 그리고 (5) 재교육 수요에 대해서 설문 조사하였다. 본 연구의 조사 대상자들은 주로 Sl(system integration) 업체에 종사하는 IT(information technology) 실무자들과 e-Business를 수행하는 일반 기업에서 전산 업무를 담당하고 있는 실무자들이며, 구체적으로는 전산시스템 운영자, 시스템/데이터베이스 분석/설계자, 어플리케이션/웹 프로그래머, 최종사용자 지원 담당자, e-Business를 위한 IT 지원 인력 등이다. 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 충북 지역에서 IS 실무자들은 자신들의 업무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위한 지식 및 기술의 다양한 영역에서 광범위하게 지식 및 기술의 결핍을 느끼고 있으며, 자신의 업무 성과가 전반적으로 좋지 않다고 판단하고 있고, 업무 관련 지식 및 기술에 대한 재교육의 필요성을 강하게 느끼고 있다. 또한, 충북 지역의 IS 실무자들은 주된 활동이나 업무가 시스템 개발과 유지보수, 최종 사용자 지원 등의 활동이며, 이에 대한 최신의 기술과 고객 중심의 시각화된 도구(GUI)를 제공하는데 많은 시간을 투자하며, 기존의 반복적인 개발 업무에서 점차 경력이 쌓임에 따라 고객 중심적인 새로운 시스템 개발을 위한 기획과 관리에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있으나, 조직 운영 및 의사결정 등과 같은 기술/지식들에는 낮은 관심을 보였다. IT전문 기술들 중 IS 실무자들이 필요로 하고 보유해야 한다고 응답한 기술들은 대다수가 웹 개발에 관련된 기술이며, IS 실무자들은 대규모 프로젝트의 수행에 필요한 공동 작업 수행 능력의 제고와 그를 위한 재교육에 높은 관심을 나타내었다. 본 조사는 충북의 IS 실무자들을 위한 대학 교육과 재교육을 포함하는 최적의 평생 교육계획 수립을 위한 기초적이고 필수적인 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

Role of Home Economics Education in a Low Fertility Society by Community Involvement, Public Policy Participation, and Advocacy (저출산 사회에서 지역사회연계와 정책참여를 통한 가정과교육의 역할)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the role of home economics education in a low fertility society in the contexts of curriculum contents, community involvement, public policy participation, and advocacy. The results showed following. First, home economics is a key subject matter in dealing with a low fertility problem among 2007 revised curriculum for secondary education level. Home economics curriculum contents was systematically organized through 8th grade to 10th grade in 4 units, where as curricula contents of social studies, science, and moral education deal with a low fertility problem in partial. Second, it is proposed to be active in community involvement incorporating with secondary education, college education, and lifelong education by service learning, outreach program, and extension program. Third, public policy and advocacy participation of home economics teachers are crucial for transformative leadership and practice in enhancing the condition of individual, family, and community wellbeing such as a low fertility problem. To perform this role of home economics education, home economics teachers should participate in developing curricula and teaching materials for the extra curricula activity, creative experiencing activity, and service learning activity. Home economics teacher educators also should actively involved in outreach program and extension program as well as in public policy advocacy activity for solving a low fertility problem.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Commitment to Learning in the Relationship between Instructor Communication and Reselection of the same Instructor - Focused on college students in lifelong education - (교수자 커뮤니케이션과 교수자 재선택 관계에서의 학습몰입의 매개효과 - 성인대학생을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to investigate the mediating effects of commitment to learning on the relationship between instructor communication and reselection of the same instructor among college students in lifelong education. For this purpose, the investigator conducted a survey with college students in lifelong education attending a two or three year college or a university in Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk Province and analyzed a final total of 498 questionnaires with the SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical programs. The findings were as follows: instructors' verbal and non-verbal communication had total significant effects on the path of reselection of the same instructor by college students in lifelong education, but it had no direct significant effects on reselection of the same instructor. Instructors' verbal and non-verbal communication had indirect effects on reselection of the same instructor by college students in lifelong education via commitment to learning. These findings imply that if instructors make use of their verbal and non-verbal communication in lessons for college students in lifelong education according to their characteristics, it will be able to increase their commitment to learning as well as satisfaction with lessons.

Key Factors of Talented Scientists' Growth and ExpeI1ise Development (과학인재의 성장 및 전문성 발달과정에서의 영향 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to explore key factors of expertise development of talented scientists who achieved outstanding research performance according to the stages of expertise development and dimensions of individual-domain-field. To fulfill the research purpose, 31 domestic scientists who were awarded major prizes in the field of science were interviewed in-depth from March to September, 2007. Stages of expertise development were analyzed in light of Csikszentmihalyi's IDFI (individual-domain-field interaction) model. Self-directed learning, multiple interests and finding strength, academic and liberal home environment, and meaningful encounter were major factors affecting expertise development in the exploration stage. In the beginner stage, independence, basic knowledge on major, and thirst for knowledge at university affected expertise development. Task commitment, finding flow, finding their field of interest and lifelong research topic, and mentor in formal education were the affecting factors in the competent stage. Finally, placing priority, communication skills, pioneering new domain, expansion of the domain, and evaluation and support system affected talented scientists' expertise development in the leading stage. The meaning of major patterns of expertise development were analyzed and described. Based on these analyses, educational implications for nurturing scientists were suggested.

Informal Information Seeking Behavior of Online Students (온라인 학생의 비공식 정보 추구 행태)

  • This study aims to examine online students' informal information seeking behavior during their loaming process and online loaming environments to support their informal information needs. The participants of the study were 29 online students in the Professional Development Studies of Rutgers University. Data was collected by the questionnaire and was analyzed with content analysis and descriptive statistics. This study focuses on when and why online students need human interaction to solve their learning problems and how they communicate with others to meet their informal information needs. Moreover, how online students think about their personal communication opportunities and the functions of their online learning system to support their loaming problems is also examined. Finally, online students suggest the ways to effectively support personal communication needed during learning process in online teaming systems. Based on the findings of this study, a few considerations are suggested in conclusions.

The Discourses on the Humanities Banquet of Public Libraries in Korea (공공도서관 인문학 향연의 담론)

  • Humanities is one of the largest buzzword in Korea. Humanities programs are being provided indiscriminately in public authorities, universities, life-long education institutions, cultural centers, the media, museums, libraries etc. Among them, the public library is the base camp for spreading and popularizing the humanities. Nevertheless, there is also a critical views for the humanities program of public library. The purpose of this study is to discuss the discourse of the humanities banquet in theoretical positions and practical aspects. The former discussed the humanities banquet in terms of academic axioms, global macro and micro discourse, social and economic wave, the spirit cultural evolution. The latter discussed the humanities banquet at the axiom and identity of the library and humanities, pitfalls and limitations in terms of reason, paradox and the dilemma on the linkage side, inconvenient truth at the destination aspect, weaknesses and challenges in the content aspect.

The Effects of Tea-Meditation Intervention on the Mindfulness and Psychological Well-being of Middle-aged Women with Depression (차명상 프로그램이 우울성향 중년여성의 마음챙김과 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of tea meditation intervention on the mindfulness and psychological well-being of middle-aged women with depression. The participants were recruited from the Life-Long Education Center of B university in B City. The research design was 2 (experimental vs control group) ${\times}3$ (pre, post, follow-up). A total of twenty participants were randomly assigned to the experimental or control group, consisting of 10 participants each. The program consists of ten sessions, including psychological well-being improvement activities and mindfulness meditation practices with tea. The levels of mindfulness and psychological well-being (self-acceptance, positive relation with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose of life and personal growth) showed statistically significant increases in the post-program and follow-up measurements, as compared to the pre-program measurements.

A Study on the Web Service Quality and User Satisfaction at Open Market (오픈마켓의 웹서비스 품질과 사용자 만족)

  • The open market are expanding service quality which was used as rating scale in the field of marketing. In accordance with open market, they convert it to e-service quality and use it. Udo et al.[6] suggested web service quality combining e-SEVQUAL[2] and extended Information Success Model[7]. This study suggests four influence factors of e-service quality in the open market; website privacy and security, web site contents, web site convenience, and images of the open market companies. The study conducted survey on 301 college students and life long education center students in Busan. The study found that all four influence factors have positive effects on the web service quality and ultimately web service quality has beneficial effects on the satisfaction in open market users' information system.

  • South Korea is in a dangerous situation where a war between the two Koreas could be triggered at any time based on the MDL (Military Demarcation Line) between the two Koreas due to the inter-Korean standoff over the armistice. Also, unlike the borders of other countries, the border between the two Koreas is the front-line area where people can feel the threat of life that could be triggered by war. Soldiers who work in special areas such as the contact area are not easily accessible due to local conditions, and are less likely to go out, stay out, stay out, or visit, and the working environment is overloaded with vast forests and silence at night, and feel anxious, lonely and insecure because they don't know when any situation will occur near the enemy. Therefore, a great deal of help will be needed to pay attention to soldiers who give up their lives here and perform their national defense duties, and to finish their barracks life safely and faithfully, and support for psychological adaptation of service members in the border areas.

Effects of Social Support and Hope on Life Satisfaction of College Students: Moderated Mediation Model of Only-Child Status (대학생의 사회적 지지와 희망이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 외동자녀 지위의 조절매개 모형)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderated mediation effect of an only-child status on the mediating effect of hope in the relationship between social support and life satisfaction of college students. The participants for this study were 302 undergraduates selected from a university in Guangdong province of China under a purposive sampling way. SPSS PC+ Win. ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2 were used to analyze the data. The applied statistical techniques were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The results were as follows: First, there were positive and significant correlations between social support, hope and life satisfaction. Second, as a result of the moderated mediating effect analysis, the indirect effect of social support on life satisfaction through hope was higher for only children than for other children. Based on this, suggestions were made to improve life satisfaction.
