Aside from serving as a body that monitors and criticizes the government through reviews and comments on public issues, newspapers can also form and spread public opinion. Metadata contains certain picture records and, in the case of local newspapers, the former is an important means of obtaining locality. Furthermore, advertising in newspapers and the way of editing in newspapers can be viewed as a representation of the times. For the value of archiving in newspapers when a documentation strategy is established, the newspaper is considered as a top priority that should be collected. A newspaper archive that will handle preservation and management carries huge significance in many ways. Journalists use them to write articles while scholars can use a newspaper archive for academic purposes. Also, the NIE is a type of a practical usage of such an archive. In the digital age, the newspaper archive has an important position because it is located in the core of MAM, which integrates and manages the media asset. With this, there are prospects that an online archive will perform a new role in the production of newspapers and the management of publishing companies. Korea Integrated News Database System (KINDS), an integrated article database, began its service in 1991, whereas Naver operates an online newspaper archive called "News Library." Initially, KINDS received an enthusiastic response, but nowadays, the utilization ratio continues to decrease because of the omission of some major newspapers, such as Chosun Ilbo and JoongAng Ilbo, and the numerous user interface problems it poses. Despite these, however, the system still presents several advantages. For example, it is easy to access freely because there is a set budget for the public, and accessibility to local papers is simple. A national library consistently carries out the digitalization of time-honored newspapers. In addition, individual newspaper companies have also started the service, but it is not enough for such to be labeled an archive. In the United States (US), "Chronicling America"-led by the Library of Congress with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities-is in the process of digitalizing historic newspapers. The universities of each state and historical association provide funds to their public library for the digitalization of local papers. In the United Kingdom, the British Library is constructing an online newspaper archive called "The British Newspaper Archive," but unlike the one in the US, this service charges a usage fee. The Joint Information Systems Committee has also invested in "The British Newspaper Archive," and its construction is still ongoing. ProQuest Archiver and Gale NewsVault are the representative platforms because of their efficiency and how they have established the standardization of newspapers. Now, it is time to change the way we understand things, and a drastic investment is required to improve the domestic and international online newspaper archive.

본 논문은 대학교 신입생들의 진로선택에 대한 특성을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구 대상자는 1개 학부, 16개 학과의 2011년 신입생 750명이었다. 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여, 대학 및 학과 선택과 사항을 파악하였으며 자기기입식으로 작성하였다. 지원한 대학의 수는 3~4개가 가장 많았으며, 고 3 시기에 대학과 전공을 주로 결정하는 것으로 나타났고, 학교보다 학과에 비중을 두고 선택하는 경우가 많았다. 진로선택 유형에서는 가족형이 가장 많았고 학교형, 독립형, 학원형 순으로 나타났다. 학과 선택시의 기준은 적성고려, 취업전망 순이었고, 입학하는 학과에 대해 대부분의 신입생들이 사전 정보와 지식을 갖고 있었다. 대학 선택시 기준은 합격 가능성이 높은 곳을 주로 선택하고 있었다. 고교교사/학교와 인터넷을 통하여 대학을 알게 된 경우가 가장 많았고, TV/라디오, 신문과 같은 매체를 통해 알게 된 경우는 아주 적었다. 따라서, 진로선택에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 부모와 가족들을 대상으로 한 대학과 전공에 대한 정확한 정보 제공이 필요하며 고교와 인터넷, 스마트폰과 같은 매체를 이용한 홍보 전략의 개발이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

KAIST는 다수의 성공 창업 사례와 국내 창업생태계에서 기술창업 발생지로 역사적 의미를 이어오고 있다. 최근 KAIST의 교원 창업이 매년 증가하고 있으며 딥테크 분야 창업으로 성장률과 생존율이 매우 높게 나타나 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 국가적으로도 매우 중요한 혁신기술창업 집적지라는 평가를 받고 있다. 대표적인 기업가적 대학인 KAIST는 기술창업 요람이라고 불리며 오랫동안 캠퍼스 창업생태계를 구축해오고 있다. 또한, 대한민국 창업생태계가 발전하면서 창업기업을 가장 많이 배출시킨 기관으로 혁신적인 창업문화를 선도해 오고 있다. 최근 KAIST의 신문화전략 1 Lab 1 Startup 비전을 수립하였고, 과학기술의 우수한 기술력을 바탕으로 연구실 R&D 기술을 혁신창업으로 이어지는 사업화를 위한 변화와 혁신을 주도하고 있다. 신문화전략 이후 몇 년 동안 교원들이 더욱 창업에 많은 관심을 가지기 시작하였고, 실질적으로 KAIST의 혁신 창업기업 수가 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 신문화 전략 외에도 다양한 교원창업 성공사례 확산, 교원창업 활성화를 위해 제도개선, 아이디어 발굴부터 기술사업화 지원, 자금조달, 비즈니스 모델 고도화, 기술사업화 및 글로벌 창업지원, 창업 인프라를 제공하고 있기 때문이다. 하지만 KAIST의 창업을 한 교수를 대상으로 세부적으로 기술창업 성공 사례와 핵심요인에 대해서 분석한 연구는 매우 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KAIST에서는 교원창업 분야에서 성공적인 창업기업을 배출되고 있는 현상에 관한 사례, KAIST의 특화된 창업지원프로그램 소개, 교원 창업 성공 사례들이 어떻게 가능한지에 관한 요인과 그 이유를 탐색하고자 한다. 교수 창업 활성화를 위한 규정, 제도, 창업지원프로그램 등에 대해서 분석을 하고자 한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 대표성이 있는 KAIST N차(연쇄 창업가) 창업을 한 A 교수의 사례를 중심으로 어떻게 지속해서 창업하고 있는지, 성공 요인이 무엇인지, 어떻게 하면 교원창업이 활성화될 수 있는지 요인들을 파악하고, 연쇄 창업 방법론이 무엇인지 사례조사와 함께 선행연구 문헌 자료 조사, 인터뷰를 중심으로 연구하여 대한민국에서 실질적인 교수창업이 활성화될 수 있는 활성화 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 교원창업에 있어서 실질적인 애로사항, 현황, 여러 번 인터뷰를 통해 핵심 요인과 원인을 파악하고자 한다. 국가적으로 대학 교원 창업 활성화 모델이 필요한 시점에 실효성이 있고 성과를 창출할 수 있는 활성화 모델을 제시하여 대학의 우수한 연구, 인적 자원을 활용한 혁신 창업 활성화 모델을 새롭게 제시하여 기업가적 대학으로 발전하고 교원들이 적극적으로 창업에 관심을 가지고 성공적인 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 체계를 만들고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 A교수의 N차(5개 창업) 창업한 사례 연구를 통해 대학 교원들의 혁신창업 활성화를 위한 정책적, 실무적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

본고는 우리나라에서 원자력이 태동되던 시절에 미국 북캘로라이나대학에서, 원자력을 연구하던 전완영박사가 1955년 12월 12일자 서울신문에 특별기고한 내용으로서 전체발전량중 원자력발전량이 $50\%$를 상회하고 있는 현시점에서 그 당시의 원자력을 둘러싼 정세와 최초의 원자로도입에 관한 배경을 다시 한번 음미해 보는 것도 의의가 클 것으로 사료된다.

1961년 경향신문 기자를 거친 재미과학자 서문원박사가 한국인으로 최초의 미국섬유학회장이 되어 활약하고 있다. 서박사는 미국노스캐롤라이나 대학에서 섬유공학과 통계학을 전공하나 과학자로 이번 한.미 과학협력센터 주최로 6월22일 과총회관에서 열린 한 .미 지적재산권 세미나에 참석하기 위해 일시 귀국했다.

인터넷과 컴퓨팅 기술의 발전, 모바일 기기와 센서들의 진화, 소셜 네트워크의 출현 등으로 정보량은 급속도로 늘어나고 있다. 따라서 방대한 정보 속에서 의미있는 지식을 추출하기 위한 시스템의 기반 연구가 활발히 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 텍스트 랭크를 사용한 중심 문장 추출을 통한 서비스와 사용자 이미지에 대한 한국어 OCR, 맞춤법 검사와 문장 생성을 가능케 하는 통합 한국어 처리 서비스 사이트를 구현함으로써, 신문 기사를 읽는 다수의 경제성을 확보했고, 한국어 처리의 편의성을 제공한다.

This study explored the change in keywords and topics in newspaper articles related to schizophrenia after the Gangnam murder case. The study examined newspaper articles related to schizophrenia for five years before and after the Gangnam murder case. A semantic network analysis was conducted using the NetMiner 4.4.1 program. 610 articles between 2013 and 2018 were retrieved from 8 national newsletters. The most frequent core keyword was 'treatment' before the murder case, but 'incidents' after the case. Four topics were identified: 'becoming chronic if missing the time of treatment due to prejudice', 'being curable with early treatment', 'living an ordinary life with medication', 'being indicted as a murderer while impaired by a mental disorder' before the murder case. After the case, four topics were identified: 'committing murder for delusions, not misogyny', 'medication non-adherence leads to more impulsive behavior', 'claiming leniency for criminals due to the mental impairment', 'killing the police who were mobilized to stop stabbing rampage'. These findings suggest that newspaper articles should provide accurate information about schizophrenia to reduce prejudice and stigma toward patients with schizophrenia and other forms of mental illness.

We can say that there are several majors in the course of cartoon education of college; cartoon, manpyung, 4 panel comic strips, editorial cartoon, webtoon and so on. Among them, this study starts with concrete question; "How can we encourage students to understand 4 panel comic strips better in the educational course of 4 panel comic strips?" 4 panel comic strips divided into two groups, depending on the materials. The first is daily cartoon which depicts the emotion in daily life. The second is editorial cartoon which deals with the problems of society in the ironical and witty way. Judging from my own thoughts that it would be better in the understanding and analysis of structures to take editorial cartoon in which materials are confined to social problems, this study treats rhetoric expression and structures of 4 panel comic strips. Introduction, development, turn and conclusion of "Jangdori" on Kyunghyangsinmoon are good materials for this study. So, "Jangdori" is in the center of this study. The objective of this study is to provide knowledge in creating 4 panel comic strips with the understanding the area of 4 panel comic strips through the analysis of the rhetoric expression and structures of this field. Even though this study has a limit, no access to daily 4 panel comic strips, I hope that this study would be a little help in any places in which the education of 4 panel comic strips is needed as a part of a course of cartoon in college.

우리나라 건축구조 역학분야를 개척해 학문 발전에 큰 공을 세운 김형걸 박사는 팔순답지 않게 왕성한 사회활동을 하고 있다. 평남 남곶출신으로 일본 동경공업대학에서 건축학을 전공한 김박사는 해방 후 서울대 교수로 많은 후학을 길러냈고 국회의사당 등 여러 대형건설사업에 자문역할을 해왔다. 김박사는 아침6시면 기상하여 하루 일과를 시작, 건설업체 자문과 연합건설신문 논설위원으로 하루하루를 바쁘게 살고 있다.
