A Study on the Analysis and Expansion Plan of Public Library Services in the COVID-19 Pandemic (코로나19에 대응하는 공공도서관 서비스 분석 및 확대방안 연구)

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the landscape of knowledge and information services that public libraries around the world have been providing since modern times. In particular, as social distancing has become routine, the contraction of cultural activities and the shift to online platforms have negatively impacted library visitation and use services, greatly reducing borrowing and reading, use of spaces and facilities, interlibrary loan services, program operations, and outreach services. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the current status of services provided by public libraries in Korea and abroad in response to COVID-19, and proposed practical ways to improve and expand services in response to COVID-19 based on the results of a survey of librarians' perceptions. Specifically, these include improving the online reservation system for reading and borrowing services and developing and providing various outreach services, acquiring and expanding electronic resources, expanding online program services (reading, culture, lifelong learning, etc.), strengthening library services for vulnerable populations, providing information portal services related to new infectious diseases, strengthening facilities and space provision services, preparing infectious disease response guidelines, and providing education and training to strengthen librarians' capabilities.

  • With the advancement of internet and mobile communication devices, mobile banking such as internet banking, internet loan and smart phones related to the people's economic activities using mobile communication devices is becoming increasingly more popular. Various security systems to prevent such new crimes are being introduced and the security system market is anticipated to continuously increase substantially in the future. Accordingly, qualitative advancement of the security systems are also in continuous demand. Therefore, this thesis proposes the method and system for quality evaluation of the network access control system by proposing testing and evaluating method for the relevant system through surveying and analyzing the tend in the foundation technologies and standards in the area of network access control system, which is one of the security systems, in order to cope with the demands for the evaluation of the quality of the security system as the security system product market is anticipated to grow continuously.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out user's information needs in university libraries based on websites. The data were collected from the bulletin board in university libraries websites. To identify the user's information needs, the works in the university libraries including acquisition, cataloging, circulation, digital collection and electronic system were analyzed. The results of the study will be useful for designing and developing the library system.

  • A capacitor-charging power supply using high frequency inverter technology is strongly recommended for the charging section of the pulsed power supplies. A high frequency inverter swiching makes the overall system size small. The command-charging feature can guarantee the higher reliability of switching function. The protection circuit can be easily included in the system and the good regulation of charging voltage can be acieved by the feedback system. Several modules can be stacked to supply required output power and a failed module can be easily replaced. A 50-kV, 35-kW capacitor charging power supply is developed. In this paper the detailed design and test results of a prototype unit are presented.

  • RFID ( Radio Frequency IDentification ) is an automatic realization technology that recognizes things or a person with data stored tag, card, label, etc that have microchip by using radio frequency. Automation and efficient data base management(DBM) of system are possible by replaces using Bar-code that is used widely with using RFID. In this paper, we designed RFID tag data format that used to recognize information of books in Library and implemented library management system. Library management system is divided checking collection of books, self-loaning books system, self-returning books system, management books information system for a librarian. RFID leader realized information of tag and transfer it to host computer through RS-232 interface. Host computer processes and operates information with middleware. System that we made is depending on executive system for a librarian.

  • This paper is an embedded system using the X-Hyper Intel PXA255 ARM CPU that base of the Linux operation system. This system applies tag information reading through RFID leader to Library executive system and designed and embody RFID middleware. The RFID middleware is consisted of RFID module, ARM processor and RS-232 interface. The RFID module is used to be inputted user and books information and RS-232 interface pass information by RFID middleware. Also, This system is embodied by specific Library management system using embedded exclusive use ARM processor. In this paper introduces concept and action principle of RFID middleware and uses Qt/Embedded and embodied manless loaning and return system.

  • Sport industry creates value-added by production and distribution of product or service related with sports or sports. Because this industry shows promise in becoming a major industry area, the government is making an effort to bring up or develop it. The financing to firms of sport industry area(sporting goods industry, sport facility industry, sport service industry) with low interest rate and long-term repayment period on the basis of sports promotion fund is excellent scheme to promote sport industry. Nevertheless, Because many people indicate operational inefficiency of it, it is necessary to check operational efficiency through investigation for loan system of sports promotion fund. The purposes of this paper are to present some directions for the improvement of efficiency by the analysis to public loan system using funds of other government organization and to the current status of loan system of sports promotion fund. The result of this study are as follows. First, we propose enlargement of loan size and range. Second, it is necessary to use mortgages loan to technology in case of sporting goods industry and sport service industry. Third, we suggest the mitigation of loan disproportion and flexible application among loam amount of sport industry areas. Fourth, we suggest the construction of loan practical committee. Finally we propose the establishment of selection criteria to firms and ex-post evaluation system related with loan system of sports promotion fund.

  • Financial firms strengthen to protect personal information from the leakage, introducing various security solutions such as print output security, internet network Isolation system, isolationg strorage of customer information, encrypting personal information, personal information detecting system, data loss prevention, personal information monitoring system, and so on. Financial companies are also entering the era of cutthroat competition due to accept of the new channels and the paradigm shift of financial instruments. Accordingly, The needs for security for customer information held by financial firms are keep growing. The large security accidents from the three card companies on January 2014 were happened, the case in which one of the outsourcing personnel seized customer personal information from the system of the thress card companies and sold them illegally to a loan publisher and lender. Three years after the large security accidents had been passed, nevertheless the security threat of the IT outsourcing workforce still exists. The governments including the regulatory agency realted to the financail firms are conducting a review efforts to prevent the leakage of personal information as well as strengthening the extent of the sanction. Through the analysis on the application of security policy for outsourcing personnel in case of large-scale Financial IT projects and the case study of appropriate security policies for security compliance, the theis is proposing a solution for both successfully completing large-scale financial IT Project and so far as possible minizing the risk from the security accidents by the outsouring personnel.

  • Product factory is a real-time financial product design system for the Internet customers. The hybrid product is a product taking combined characteristics of two different products. Hybrid product factory is a product factory that designs hybrid products from two different products based on both business rules and customer requirements. Though the importance of product factory is emphasized in the industry, there has not been much research peformed regarding product factory. In this research, we developed a product factory system that designs hybrid products. To design a hybrid product, it is necessary to have a method to combine attributes and values of two different products, and a method to control the combining operations to properly reflect business requirements. In this research, we developed low different combining operators and business rule representations. rn addition, to prove the effectiveness of this methods, we implemented a prototypical system and demonstrated on cases regarding financial loan products.

  • Today, using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) card is extended in diversity as medical treatment, circulation market, military affairs, manufacture, security, etc. The RFID technology is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data for the purpose of identification using radio waves. This advantage of the RFID will be as a replacement for traditional Barcoding. Besides, book-lending system and attendance management system become the center of educational institution in interest. This paper presents a attendance management system using the RFID card which provides directly information of attendance for professors with mobile and students with web. Also, the students only have ID card that embed RFID tag which is recognized attendance through DB that storages to is received a information of student from RFID card Reader. And it is possible management or report for attendance and time table not only for professors by management program but also for students by web program.
