  • 본 논문에서는 주제와 초점이 한가지 기준에 의해 분류될 수 있는 것을 보이고자 한다. 이를 위해서 Rooth의 대안 의미론의 요점인 대안 집합이 어떤 방식으로 결정되고 그 대안 집합의 크기가 얼마가 되느냐에 따라서 여러 가지 주제와 초점이 분류되었다 또한 정보초점에 나타나는 초점의 한정성은 초점자체의 본성이라기보다는 이전 발화의 전제에 의한 상호작용의 결과라는 것을 보였고, 대조 초점과 대조주제의 구분을 위하여 대화함축이 일어나는지 여부를 기준으로 이 두 개념을 구분하려고 하였다.

Focus, Topic and Their Phonetic Relevance. (초점과 주제의 음성학적 관련성)

  • This paper attempts to define various notions involving focus and topic found in Korean and also employs phonetic measures to verify the plausibility of those notions that are theoretically argued for. This paper crucially relies on Prince (1981) for the notion of familiarity and its pragmatic significance, and adopts Rooth's (1985) notion of alternative set and utilizes it in the light of pragmatic interpretation. The basic idea of this paper is to decompose the notion alternative set into finer-grained components and to assign various levels of familiarity to those finer components, thereby helping define different kinds of focus and topic according to the properties of those sub-components.

  • This study focuses on the fact that students and teachers commonly have difficulty in 'selecting the topic' in many activities including student-led research that is conducted from topic selection to the drawing of conclusion. The purpose of this study is to develop a manual for science teaching research. The instructional manuals of 4 stages were developed based on practical knowledge that can be implemented in the actual class through previous research and literature. Each stage is composed of , , , and . In the third stage, students are expected to find scientific questions and develop them into research topics through detailed class research on newspaper articles, scientific magazines, traditional knowledge, proverbs, daily life, and textbook experiments. In the experimental group, the final research topic was selected through a variety of sources such as textbook experiments, proverbs, YouTube images, newspaper articles, individual WHY NOTEs, and understood the conditions of the scientific research topic and expressed the variables in the research title. However, in the control group, some students did not consider the research scope of the selected research subjects to be specific or not to be able to study at their level. As a result of giving the students as much autonomy as possible, many groups did not fully understand the previous research and submitted it. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that development and use of a 'topic selection stage' centered practice manual for general high school teachers would not only improve the students' abilities to discover solutions to scientific questions, but it will also help shift their attitudes towards science in a positive direction.

Topicality and Focality of Contrastive Topic (대조주제의 주제성과 초점성)

  • This study investigates the semantic and prosodic properties of the so-called contrastive topic. We posit two informational primitives, namely, topical feature [+-T] and focal feature [+-F], from which four different informational categories, i.e., [+T, +F], [+T, -F], [-T, +F], and [-T, -F], are yielded. It is proposed that the informational category of contrastive topic has focal property [+F] as well as topical property [+T]. Based on the semantic approach that regards the function of [+F] as identificational predication and that of [+T] as forming a semantic conditional clause, it is shown that the semantic function of contrastive topic, which is specified as [+T, +F], is the combination of these two functions, i.e., identificational predication in a semantic conditional clause. This is supported by a scrutinized exploration of the prosodic pattern of English contrastive topic.

A Study on Orchestration in "Battle for The Glory" out of the Background Music in the Animation "Dragon Quest IV" (애니메이션 "드래곤 퀘스트 IV"의 배경음악 중 "Battle for The Glory"에 나타난 관현악법 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find a system and a progression principle in orchestral piece based on the outcome after comparatively analyzing the orchestral operation technique in "Battle for The Glory" out of the background music in the animation "Dragon Quest IV" by Koichi Sugiyama(1931~), who is a leading runner of Japan's animation music, based on functional parts daccord & Instrumentation Pattern, Rhythm Pattern, Voicing Pattern, and harmonic ratio by progression section devised by the writer. As a result, first, five themes in this music have specific instrumentation pattern, respectively. In a passage that is shown exposition, reprise, and representation in theme, the unity was emphasized by maintaining the same instrumentation pattern. On the contrary to this, a passage of being suggested new theme is being used the exchange method and addition & subtraction in musical instrument in order to strengthen diversity. Second, the voicing pattern is forming the vertical contrasting relationship of "thinness-thickness" on the whole. However, the diversity is being intensified that is changed into the structure of "thickness-thinness" in the third theme and of "thinness-thickness" that has two melodies in the fourth theme. Third, the rhythm pattern is forming the vertical contrasting relationship of "big-small" on the whole. However, the fifth theme is being given diversity with being changed into the structure of "small-big." Fourth, the harmony by progression section from the horizontal perspective is shown to be high in the proportion of unity in the section of being repeated and represented the theme and to be high in the proportion of diversity in the section of being suggested new theme. In this study, the balanced orchestral operation technique through the operation technique, which was used in this work, is what extracts the relationship of diverse proportions in the horizontal progression section based on the technique of vertical perspective. In this aspect, this analytical study is desired to be positioned as a new paradigm in establishing a theoretical system and an educational method in orchestration.

  • This study evaluates representability and comprehensivity of the Theasurus in theeconomics and industry fields of the "General Thesaurus of Newspaper Articles." The methodsused in the study were, first, indexing of the pages covering economics and industry articlesusing the Thesaurus and second, comparing the Thesaurus terms with the words collectedfrom the newspapers articles and glossaries. The study clarifies the following problems whichmight occur in the construction and use of newspaper thesaurus: specificity of the subjectconcepts, separation of component concept, preference relationship between descriptors andentry terms, the methods of recording of proper nouns and allocation of terms among thesubject areas concern.he subject areas concern.

  • 최근에는 사람과 기계가 자유롭게 대화를 주고받을 수 있는 자유 주제 대화 시스템(Open-domain Dialogue System)이 다양한 서비스에 활용되고 있다. 자유 주제 대화 시스템이 더욱 다양한 답변을 제공할 수 있도록 사전학습 기반의 생성 언어모델이 활용되고 있지만, 답변 제공의 안정성이 떨어져 검색을 활용한 방법 또한 함께 활용되고 있다. 검색 기반 방법은 사용자의 대화가 들어오면 사전에 구축된 데이터베이스에서 유사한 대화를 검색하고 준비되어있는 답변을 제공하는 기술이다. 하지만 멀티턴으로 이루어진 대화는 일반적인 문서의 문장과 다르게 각 문장에 대한 발화의 주체가 변경되기 때문에 연속된 발화 문장이 문맥적으로 밀접하게 연결되지 않는 경우가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 대화의 특징을 고려하여 멀티턴 대화를 효율적으로 임베딩 할 수 있는 DBERT(DialogueBERT) 모델을 제안한다. 기존 공개된 사전학습 언어모델 기반의 문장 임베딩 모델과 비교 평가 실험을 통해 제안하는 방법의 우수성을 입증한다.

The Effect of Flipped Learning based Nursing Process Education on Self-Directed Learning Ability and Academic Achievement of Nursing Students (플립러닝을 기반으로 한 간호과정 교육이 간호대학생의 자기주도적 학습능력 및 학업성취도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of nursing process education based on flipped learning on self-directed learning ability and academic achievement of nursing students. A quasi-experimental study employing a nonequivalent control group and pre-post design was conducted. The study group was composed of 135 college students enrolled in the 2nd grade of C nursing college as an experimental group and 103 college students enrolled in the 2nd grade of the D university nursing department as a control group. The experimental group participated in flipped learning with the theme of nursing process once a week for 5 weeks, and the control group applied the traditional teaching method. Data were analyzed using χ2-test and Independent t-test with SPSS 26.0 program. There were significant differences in self-directed learning ability(t=-4.71, p<.001) and academic achievement(t=-4.93, p<.001) of participants between experimental group and control group after completion of 5 sessions flipped learning. The results indicate that flipped learning can be used to improve self-directed learning ability and academic achievement of nursing students. As a result of this study, the basis for using flipped learning will be prepared, and furthermore, it will have a positive effect on the clinical practice and problem solving ability of nursing students.

An Indexing Coverage Study of Periodical Literature in a Subject Area of Korean Language (정기간행물기사 색인서비스의 포괄성 측정에 관한 연구 -국어학 문헌을 중심으로-)

  • Ths study was prformed to measure the indexmg coverage of the periol~cal literature on a sub'||'&'||' area inKorean language policy. A bibliography of 675 citations dated 1977-1990 was obtained through Xugohaknonpmongnokjip'.Coverage was determined by checlung the citations against 2 indexmg services, Ch-dg~idm"and Xugogungrnunhaknonmunmongrok". For the period 1977-1990, T h o n g g g a n h a n g m s consistentlyprovided coverage of about 63%. For the pencd 1986-1990, Xugogungmunhaknonmunmongrok" providedcoverage of about 33% and the combined coverage of the two services was abut 78%. C. P. E. Bach's Improvisational Techniques in His Keyboard Fugues (C. P. E. 바흐 건반 푸가에 나타나는 그의 즉흥연주기법 고찰)

  • This paper is aimed at more carefully studying C. P. E. Bach's Fugues, which have been relatively less appreciated in his study. Fugue is the most sophisticated music with its highly contrapuntal texture, and it is often paired with the contrasting Prelude or Fantasia. C. P. E. Bach introduces an unprecedented attempt by merging seemingly contrasting Fugue and Improvisational passages into one piece of music rather than simply placing the two music pieces side by side. In his unprecedented attempt, the basic concept and typical form of Fugue are roughly maintained, but the insertion of improvisational performance techniques in both the subject and the detailed progression takes great importance. This Study examines the connection of C. P. E. Bach's Fugue and Improvisational Techniques by analyzing his 7 Fugues.
