  • 첨단 미래도시 건설을 위한 u시티 같은 대규모 네트워크 구축 사업에 첨단 유비쿼터스 사회를 앞당기기 위한 기술로 주목 받던 센서 네트워크를 도입하기 위한 IP-USN 기술개발이 활기를 띄고 있다. IP-USN은 기존의 IP 인프라를 기반으로 센서 노드, 게이트웨이 및 싱크 노드 등 USN 네트워크를 통합해 광범위한 확장성과 이동성을 보장, 다양한 분야에 서비스를 적용하게 해주는 기술을 의미한다. 이처럼 인터넷 망과 연계하는 대규모 센서 네트워크 응용이 많아지면서 센서 네트워크를 구성하는 핵심 소프트웨어인 센서 네트워크 운영체제와 관련 기술 역시 그 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 IP-USN을 위한 기술을 지원하는 국내외 센서 네트워크 운영체제에 대해 살펴본다.

  • Recently, the construction wastes increase rapidly due to the revitalization of reconstruction and redevelopment, the development of new urbanization of large housing development, the expansion of social infrastructure, and so on. To solve rapid increase of construction waste, the government established "the rule on the promotion of recycling of construction waste" in December, 2003. According to the rule, construction wastes can be recycled by either processing on commission or discharger of construction waste. This study proved the validation of site recycling for construction waste as economic efficiency is analyzed through the case study of site recycling at large housing development district. Using the sensitivity analysis, factors affecting the cost of site recycling was analyzed and the break-even point for the cost of site recycling was estimated according to the factors.

  • 검토된 바와 같이 계획하고 있거나 추진중에 있는 수자원개발사업은 대규모의 많은 비용이 투자될 뿐만 아니라 모든 공정이 완료된다 하더라도 여전히 지역적으로 물부족 현상은 계속될 것으로 전망된다. 따라서 우수의 활용은 충분히 경제적 장점이 있으며, 설령 경제적으로 비교하지 않더라도 물부족지역을 중심으로 우수이용은 많은 장점이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • The mixed-use development project like urban regeneration project has been enforced with long period and participation of various stakeholders. For this character, lots of risk could be occurred during the process of project and the project's success or failure depends on the risk management. So the process of identifying and responding to risks in urban regeneration projects should be followed systemically. The risk identification phase is the first step to identify risk factors and define risk's character. One of the risk identification methods, the checklist, is the most practical and well-known one. This study suggests the check list that devide risks classified by stakeholders through analizing tasks of stakeholders and drawing risks. This kind of checklist which handles risk factors classified by stakeholders is an easy tool to identify risks and expected to be effective to find risks for various stakeholders and themselves in the urban regeneration projects.

  • 탄약 비군사화 심포지엄에 참석하여 안전하고 환경친화적인 불용탄 처리관련 기술현황을 분석하고 실제 운영중인 일부시설을 견학할 수 있었다. 또한 이 기간중 DAC의 주선하에 태평양지역 국가들의 회의 참석자들과의 별도 화합으로 Demil 정보를 교환하였다. 이와 같은 미국의 노력은 이 지역의 Demil 기술 종주국으로서 지도자 역할을 자임하려는 노력이 역력하였다. 현재 미국의 비군사화 사업은 대 테러전이 계속 진행됨에 따라 예산지원 우선순위에서 낮아져 향후 1-2년간은 사업규모의 축소 또는 지연이 예산된다. 따라서 정부내의 타부서와의 기술협력을 모색하여 기술개발은 꾸준히 이루어 질 것이다.

  • The world largest land reclamation project in the name of Saemangeum(Ariul) from 1991 to the present has been implementing in a part of the west coast of Korea. In the Saemangeum reclamation project, the large-scale project cost is used for the landfill reclamation. A number of landfill reclamation methods have been studied in order to reduce the large-scale cost of the Saemangeum project under construction. There are many studies related to the on-site real-time monitoring with mobile systems for operating a wide range of landfill. In order to apply the work method for efficient cost-savings in the landfill operations to the Samangeum project, this paper develops a mobile management system that is composed of a mobile interface module, a data server module for data transmission and storage, and an analysis server module to analyze the input data and derive the results. The mobile system is designed by analysing user's and system requirements, functional interactions, and data flow using unified modeling language(UML). The user interface is developed for the on-site real-time monitoring through the status and related attributes of land reclamation by using the digital maps of the Samangeum coverage via mobile devices. Finally, a mobile management system would be developed that can provide a 3D GIS service based on the Dry Internal Project Site Digging Reclamation Method(DIPSDRM).

Analysis on the Differences of Point of View between Architect and Urban Planner on the Evaluation of International Urban Design Competition (국제설계경기 평가에서 건축가와 도시계획가의 관점차이 분석)

  • During the development process of mega-project, individual buildings including skyscrapers are built following the master plan. It is not a difficult thing to see the gap of standpoint between the urban planners and architects on the project. This study aims to analyze the difference between architect and urban planner's point of view in evaluating international design competition works which the internationally distinguished honorable design companies(SOM, Jerde Partnership, Studio Daniel Libeskind, Foster+Partners and Asymptote Architecture) submitted as the ideas of Yongsan International Business District Design. Furthermore, we made an attempt to quantify the weight of each factors of urban design by each group. Architect and urban planner's viewpoint were revealed with seven architects and seven urban planners evaluating the international design competition works through AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process). AHP structure was made of two step hierarchy in terms of Master Plan and Landmark Tower. Eight evaluation criteria were set up such as the concept, land use, transportation, feasibility of Master Plan and the concept, location, functional efficiency and aesthetic beauty of Landmark Tower. Results show that Architect have different point of view from that of urban planner. While the architect's weight of evaluation criteria is on the Landmark Tower(0.505), urban planner's weight is on Master Plan(0.642). Feasibility, the location of Landmark Tower and land-use are very important evaluation criteria to architect and urban planner in common. Functional efficiency of Landmark Tower is in architect's favour and transportation is in urban planner.

  • 선진국 주요 전력사는 단방향 전력망에 정보통신기술을 접목하여 전력공급자와 소비자가 양방향 실시간 정보를 교환함으로써 전력설비운영 최적화와 전력 수요관리 서비스를 통해서 전기에너지 사용 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 SmartGrid 핵심 application인 AMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure)시스템에 대한 연구개발과 대규모 사업화를 추진 중에 있다. 본고에서는 AMI시스템을 구성하고 있는 유 무선 통신망 중에서 규제 없이 누구나 사용가능한 AMI용 근거리 통신기술의 표준화 기술동향과 관련 이슈에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • Major utilities have been focusing on R&D and business of AMI system which plays a vital role in SmartGrid whose concept is to optimize energy efficiency with exchanging real time information between utilities and consumers based on IT technologies in power grid. In this paper, we introduce KEPCO's AMI business plan, the AMI System architecture, designed core devices, communication networks and value added services, and also explore technical and business characteristics of KEPCO's AMI system.
