Safety Evaluation of Radiating Element by Structural Test and Stress Analysis (구조 실험 및 응력 해석을 통한 복사 소자의 안전성 평가)

  • This study manufactured the radiating element of multi-band antenna skin structure which satisfy electrical and mechanical performance and is made by double injection molding process. Structural test including impact and buckling test is carried out and stress analysis is simulated to evaluate safety of radiating element for the axial and shear loads, when changing of the skin structure is occurred by the external force. To predict allowable load of structure and evaluate safety on impact and buckling, experimental and analytic method is used in strength analysis of structure.

  • The influence of the mined-out caves on the stability of the high speed railway tunnel was investigated with a series of geological logging and in-situ tests on the one hand, and with the rock mass classification using the multiple regression analysis on the other hand. The rock mass in this area can be classified as 'fair', and the condition of the discontinuities plays the most important role in the classification of the rock mass. The results of the analysis obtained by the FLAC showed that the western part of the tunnel locating at 50m above the mine cavities could be affected by subsidence associated with a considerable deformation, the magnitude of which might depend on the properties of the rock mass.

  • There are many kinds of complicated equipments in the chemical plants. So the chemical plants have high possibility of accidents. Hazard analysis is one of the basic tasks to ensure the safety of chemical plants. However, it has many shortcomings. To overcome the problems, there have been attempts to automate this work by utilizing computer technology, particularly knowledge-based technique. However, many of the past approaches are lacking in properties: safeguard consideration, accident diversity, cause and consequence diversity, pathway leading to accidents, and various hazard analysis reasoning. Therefore, in this study, three analysis algorithms were proposed using multimodel approach, and a hazard analysis system, AHA, was developed on G2. The case study was solved with AHA system successfully.

  • 웹의 확산과 더불어 공간적, 지역적으로 분산되어 있는 그룹의 구성원들 사이의 정보의 공유 및 재사용을 지원하는 웹 기반의 정보시스템 개발이 활발해지고 있다. 이러한 시스템들은 다중사용자 환경에서 안정적이고 효율적인 서비스를 지속적으로 제공하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 논문에서는 웹 상의 가상공간을 통하여 효과적이고 안정적인 그룹간의 공동작업 각간을 지원하는 iPlace/java 시스템을 개발하였다. iPlace/java 시스템은 자바 컴포넌트 아키텍쳐인 EJB(Enterprise JavaBean)를 기반으로 하는 컴포넌트로 구성되어 서버의 확장성 및 재사용성을 높이고, 다중 사용자환경에 적합한 트랜잭션 관리와 보안으로 안정적인 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 자바 기술만을 이용함으로써 플랫폼에 독립적이며 서버구동에 필요한 비용을 상당히 절감할 수 있었다.

A Study on Comfortableness Classification using Multi-channel EEG and Neural Network (다중채널 뇌파와 신경회로망을 이용한 쾌적성 분류에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 다중채널 뇌파에서 특징 파라미터로 선형 예측기 계수(Linear predictor coefficients)를 추출하고, 패턴인식기로는 신경회로망을 이용한 쾌적성 분류 알고리즘을 개발하여 다중 템플릿 방법으로 쾌적성 분류 실험을 하고자 하였다. 뇌파 데이터는 대학생 10명으로부터 쾌적한 환경과 불쾌적한 환경에서의 데이터를 수집하였으며, 전극 위치는 Fpl, Fp2, F3, F4, T3, T4, P3, P4, O1, O2를 사용하였다. 수집된 뇌파는 전처리를 거친 후 특징 파라미터를 추출하고 패턴 분류기로 사용된 신경회로망의 입력으로 사용하였다. 쾌적성 분류 방법은 다중템플릿 방법으로 여러 명의 피검자를 각각 학습시켜 이로부터 생성되는 신경회로망의 가중치들을 템플릿에 저장한다. 그리고 테스트를 할 때에는 먼저 처음의 안정 상태의 뇌파를 이용하여 템플릿 검색을 하고 가장 가까운 템플릿을 선택한다. 그리고 선택된 템플릿을 이용하여 다른 감정에 대한 쾌적성 분류 실험을 하게 된다. 쾌적성 분류 실험 결과 평균 인식률이 약 75%의 성능을 나타내었다.

  • Mobile Ad hoc network에서 이동 노드들의 안정적이고 신뢰성이 높은 데이터 전송을 하기 위해서 multipath routing을 통하여 소스 목적지 노드간에 다중 경로를 구하고 기존의 라우팅 방법과 비교해 본다. 또한 다중 경로를 활용하는 방법과 경로구간의 링크 다운 시에 보다 빠른 복원을 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 모바일 노드들의 이동성과 낮은 대역폭으로 인한 데이터 손실을 줄이는 방법으로 데이터 트래픽을 다중경로에 분산시키는 Traffic Load Balancing 방법과 데이터 전송 중에 발생하는 링크 다운 시에 새로운 경로를 찾는 메커니즘이 아닌 중간 경로에서 기존에 유효한 경로를 이용하는 Local recovery 방법을 소개하고자 한다.

  • The main objective of this paper is to propose a new stability analysis method for a networked control system with multiple packet transmission. The new scheduling method that can guarantee the maximum time delay and discrete switch state equation model which represent a network data loss is proposed. The equivalent model of a MIMO(multi-input multi-output) networked control system is derived from a state space model of linear time invariant interconnected systems in the form of asynchronous dynamical system. Using this model, this paper presents new stability theorems that can determine stability of the networked control system with regard to time delay, data loss, and the number of transmission packets. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of proposed stability analysis method.

  • The Xenon spatial oscillation may give rise to operational difficulties in a nuclear power plant. In this study, in order to investigate the Xenon instability for a PWR, the frequency-domain technique is adopted by using Generalized Nyquist Criterion, which is more general and suitable for the multi-input/multi-output system. Also linearized modal fluxes are obtained by a modal expansion. This model has been implemented to test the axial Xenon stability of YGN-1 unit against the changes in plant operating parameters ; power level, control rod position, and core average burnup. The results show that the increase of power level and the deeper insertion of control rod have the destabilizing effect, and that the burnup progress makes the core less stable. Also the results show that the overestimation due to modal interaction was found not to be significant.

  • [ $C_{70}$ ]-gold nanoparticle multilayer films were self-assembled using a 'dirt-ball' method on the reactive surface of glass slides functionalized with 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. The functionalized glass slides were soaked in the solution containing both unmodified $C_{70}$ and ${\omega}$-amino-functionalized gold nanoparticles. Organic reaction (amination) facilitated the assembly of multilayer $C_{70}$-gold nanoparticle films, which have grown up to several layers. Chemical stability of $C_{70}$-gold nanoparticle films was studied by monitoring the changes in absorbance after the immersion of the films in acidic solution. In addition, ultrasonic stability of these nanoparticle films was studied by exposing them to ultrasonic irradiated surrounding, which resulted in partial desorption and a little aggregation of nanoparticles on solid surfaces.

  • RFID Anti-Collision technique is needed to avoid collision problem caused by Radio interference between tags in the same RFID Reader area. It affects the performance and reliability of the RFID System. This paper propose the QT-CBP(Query Tree with Collision-Bit Positioning) Algorithm based on the QT(Query Tree) algorithm. QT-CBP Algorithm use precise collision bit position to improve the performance. We demonstrated the proposed algorithm by simulation. Our algorithm outperformed when each tag bit streams are the more duplicate and the number of tags is increased, compared with QT.
