Characterization of Fly Ash Produced from a Sewage Sludge Incineration Facility in Korea (국내 하수슬러지 소각시설에서 발생되는 비산재의 특성 분석)

  • This study characterized fly ash produced from a sewage sludge incineration facility in Korea to determine if the byproducts can be utilized. All the incinerated sewage sludge was from a city in Korea. To characterize fly ash and to determine if it can be utilized, pH, water contents, elemental components, particle size, surface morphology, heavy metal compositions, and others were analyzed. In average, pH was 6.2, and water contents was about 5%. T-N and $T-P_2O_5$ were 3% and 24.5%, respectively. Particle size averaged 836 nm; surface morphology did not exhibit any significant results. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis results revealed that major components of the fly ash were $P_2O_5$, CaO, MgO, $K_2O$. Composition of heavy metals by the Korea Standard Methods for Waste Quality did not exceed the criteria for specified wastes in Korea.

The Basalts and Volcanic Process in the Seondol Cinder Cone, Seobjikoji Area, Jeju Island (제주도 섭지코지 선돌 분석구의 화산작용과 현무암)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the petrology of basalt and the volcanic process in the Seondol cinder cone, Seobjikoji area, eastern Jeju Island. The Seondol cinder cone is mainly composed of spatters in the lower part, pyroclastic deposits including reddish brown blocks, ashes with volcanic bombs in the middle part, and dark black scoria deposits in the upper part. The volcanic sequences suggest volcanic processes that progress through Strombolian eruption and end with Hawaiian lava effusion which breached the cinder cone northwestward and extended over northwestward as lava delta and basalt emplaced as a volcanic neck in the central part of crater in the cinder cone. The age of basalt lava flows is about $95\;{\pm}\;3\;ka$. The basalts belong to transitional basalt and show products of fractional crystallization of clinopyroxene and olivine from a parental basalt magma on the basis of variation diagram of major, trace and rare earth elements. Basalts in the region of this study are plotted at the region of within plate basalt.

  • 전 세계적인 기후변화로 인한 기상이변 현상으로 국지성 호우가 빈번하게 발생하는 시점에 강우로 인한 토양유실 문제가 심각하게 대두되고 있다. 특히 토양유실은 도시지역보단 농업지역에서 다량 발생되고 있어 많은 영양염류가 하천으로 유입되 환경문제가 빈번히 발생되고 있다. 이러한 토양유실문제를 저감시키기 위해서 환경부에서는 비점오염원관리지역을 지정하여 관리하고 있다. 강원도 내 비점오염원관리지역으로 선정된 홍천군 자운지구는 소양호 상류에 위치한 지역으로 대부분의 농경지가 고랭지밭으로 구성되어 있다. 홍천군 자운지구 내 고랭지밭은 대규모 농업단지로 구성되어 있어 지역 내 위치한 구거가 무단으로 점용되어 농경지로 활용되는 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이에 홍천군에서는 농경지로 점용된 구거를 복원하는 사업을 진행하고 있지만 길제 구거 복원으로 저감되는 토양유실량에 대한 분석은 수행되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비점오염원관리지역으로 지정된 홍천군 자운지구의 지적 상 농경지로 이용되고 있는 구거를 복원할 경우 발생되는 토양유실저감효과를 분석했다. 구거복원에 따른 토양유실저감효과를 분석하기 위해 사용된 모형은 SATEEC L Module이다. SATEEC L Module은 수치표고모형과 최대 허용 경사장을 이용하여 경사장을 산정한 후 Moore and Burch의 방법을 이용하여 LS factor를 산정하도록 구성되어 있다. 해당 Module을 사용하여 산정된 LS factor와 USLE 공식을 적용하여 구거 복원 시 저감되는 토양유실량을 분석했다. 분석결과 점용된 구거를 복원하면 자운지구 내 발생되는 토양유실량을 약 16.6%를 저감할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통해 분석된 결과는 비점오염원관리지역의 토양유실을 저감할 수 있는 방법연구에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Nowadays as the use of mobile communication devices such as smart phones and tablets and the use of Computer is expanded, data is being collected exponentially on the Internet. In addition, due to the development of SNS, users can freely communicate with each other and share information in various fields, so various opinions are accumulated in the from of big data. Accordingly, big data analysis techniques are being used to find out the difference between the response of the general public and the response of the media. In this paper, we analyzed the public response in SNS about child allowance and childbirth grant and analyzed the response of the media. Therefore we gathered articles and comments of users which were posted on Twitter for a certain period of time and crawling the news articles and applied sentiment analysis. From these data, we compared the opinion of the public posted on SNS with the response of the media expressed in news articles. As a result, we found that there is a different response to some national policy between the public and the media.

Trend Analysis of News Articles Regarding Sungnyemun Gate using Text Mining (텍스트마이닝을 활용한 숭례문 관련 기사의 트렌드 분석)

  • Sungnyemun Gate, Korea's National Treasure No.1, was destroyed by fire on February 10, 2008 and has been re-opened to the public again as of May 4, 2013 after a reconstruction work. Sungnyemun Gate become a national issue and draw public attention to be a major topic on news or research. In this research, text mining and association rule mining techniques were used on keyword of newspaper articles related to Sungnyemun Gate as a cultural heritage from 2002 to 2016 to find major keywords and keyword association rule. Next, we analyzed some typical and specific keywords that appear frequently and partially depending on before and after the fire and newpaper companies. Through this research, the trends and keywords of newspapers articles related to Sungnyemun Gate could be understood, and this research can be used as fundamental data about Sungnyemun Gate to information producer and consumer.

Scientific Analysis of the Neolithic Red Earthenwares(II) (신석기시대(新石器時代) 주칠토기(朱漆土器)의 과학적(科學的) 분석(分析)(II))

  • This study, a part of scientific analysis of the 23 Neolithic red earthenwares excavated from southeastern coast and islands. We analyzed earthenware through statistical method and hardness analysis of clay, following the analysis of clay composition, its firing temperature, pigment composition and its thickness. Clay composition was analyzed by using ICP-AES and XRF, and then Principal Component Analysis (one of multivariate methods) was used for classification. As a result, clay of the earthenware was classified into 3 groups(Bumbang, Youkjido and other sites). In addition, hardness analysis of pigment and clay based on the depth of earthenware surface showed that pigment layer containing lots of Fe2O3 had higher hardness than clay part, which can be interpreted that Fe2O3 contributes to raising hardness in case of high temperature firing. The fact that pigment hardness is higher than that of clay part implies that pigment was applied before firing.

  • This research constructed property analysis for an high additional value construction materials. We try to utilize by the addition material of soil stabilizer. It was described to the material properties analysis of a sludge. A sample used 4 kinds of filtration cake which occurs by 4 companies and 3 kinds of sludge before filtration. ph of a sludge, a particle analysis and a scanning electron microscope observation were performed. We analyzed on the chemical ingredient by XRF, the phase by XRD, observed and analyzed the thermo-property of the sludge and the amount of the volatile constituent by TG-DTA.

  • 일반적으로 하천에 고정보를 설치하게 되면 생태 통로의 차단, 보 상류부 수질 악화, 하천 경관 훼손 등 다양한 문제점이 발생하며 특히 상류로부터 유입된 토사가 보 상류부에 퇴적되고 보 하류부는 침식이 발생하여 보 상 하류간의 심한 표고차로 인한 하천의 연속성이 파괴될 가능성이 있다. 이러한 고정보의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 가동보를 설치하여 홍수소통을 원활하게 할 뿐 아니라 토사가 다량 함유되어 있는 홍수류를 보에 저류시키지 않고 하류로 유하시키고 가동보구간의 증가된 유속을 이용하여 보 상류측의 퇴적 토사를 씻겨 내려가게 하는 플러싱 효과를 이용하여 보 상류부의 토사 퇴적 문제점을 해결하고 있다. 하지만 가동보 설치에 따른 기존의 하상변동분석 연구와 실무에서는 이러한 상황을 고려하지 않고 수문을 닫았을 때와 수문을 열었을 때 2가지 경우에 대해서만 하상변동분석이 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 홍수기 및 갈수기 시 보의 계획홍수위 및 상류관리수위를 무시한 하상변동분석은 과도한 플러싱 또는 저류효과가 발생함으로써 실질적인 하상의 변동 특성을 제대로 반영할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 금강의 보 건설 구간 중 백제보의 계획홍수위 및 상류관리수위를 유지하는 수문 운영을 반영하여 백제보 상 하류에 하상변동특성을 분석하였으며 수문 운영을 고려하지 않았을 경우의 하상변동과 비교하였다. 분석에 사용된 수치모형은 HEC-6가 탑재된 HEC-RAS 4.1을 이용하였으며 본 모형이 유사의 횡단 분포를 고려하지 못하는 한계성(1차원모형)을 가지나 하상토 및 부유사의 전체 입도분포를 고려하고 User Defined Curves를 이용하여 수문작동 옵션 지정이 가능하여 선택하여 홍수기와 갈수기를 고려한 하상변동 특성 분석을 실시하였다.

  • As digital transformation accelerates, the proportion of non-face-to-face services in financial services is also increasing. Recently, user experience has emerged to secure competitiveness in mobile services, and analysis techniques to improve user experience have emerged. User review data, one of the data used for quantitative evaluation, contains a lot of unnecessary information, which is time-consuming to derive improvement directions. Therefore, this study aims to develop a UX analysis system based on the hierarchy of UX needs by using a cosine similarity algorithm and analyze user review data of Kookmin Bank, Woori Bank, Kakao Bank, and Toss for verification. This study proved that the developed UX analysis system is a system that can effectively analyze UX through the analysis of user review data. The system of this study is expected to be easily used to identify improvement plans for the hierarchy of UX needs in an agile organization that needs to quickly reflect customer feedback.

Surface static properties in polymer hybrid material after plasma treatment (플라즈마 처리한 고분자 복합재료의 표면특성변화)

  • In this study, which was performed to identify a degradation mechanism in macromolecular insulating material, the contact angle, surface potential decay, surface resistance rate and XPS analysis were compared after exposure of fibre-glass-reinforced polymer laminate to plasma discharge. In the case of chemical changes arising from plasma treatment, carboxyl radicals were generated mainly in the plasma-treated surface, which was rapidly changed to a hydrophilic surface. In the corona potential decay study to determine the electrical changes, leading to a negative surface for the untreated specimen. However, in the case of the hydrophilic surface, a lot of carboxy radicals(-COO) acting as positive polarity were generated, resulting in a positive surface. Owing to such a positive surface, the charges of applied negative polarity were decreased rapidly.
