The Influence of Dado Education on the Personality Development of Female High School Students (다도교육이 여고생의 인성발달에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the contribution of Dado education to personality development among female high school students in Korea. The personality development was measured with the change in emotional stability. consideration. politeness. and temperance before and after a series of Dado education program to 16 female high school students for ten times (20 hours). A significant improvement in the students personality was found. Students perceived their positive internal and external changes through this program and their mothers were favorable to the personality development of their children after the Dado education. This study implies that Dado education can be a valuable means for personality development in youth. A suggestion was made for teachers and curriculum developers to apply Dado education into school curriculum and extracurricular activities.

  • 열전달에는 많은 개념과 방법론이 포함되므로 그 범위에 있어서, 적어도 다른 어떤 열과학보다도 광범위하다. 이 제목의 첫 과목을 가르치는데 있어, 교수는 토픽의 내용, 수학의 정도, 컴퓨터 사용 및 실험 등에 있어 많은 선택에 직면하게 된다. 이 선택은 학생개발목표는 물론 기자재 및 시간제한 등에 기반을 두어 이루어져야 한다. 열전달 첫 과목의 주된 목적은 학생이 열시스템 설계와 성능에 관계되는 문제를 합리적으로 취급할 수 있도록 준비시키는 것이어야 한다. 따 라서 전달, 대류 및 복사의 기본원리와 열시스템 해석의 방법론에 중점을 두어야 한다.

Research Trends of Tea Culture on the related Thesis & Dissertation in Korea (${\cdot}$박사 학위논문을 통해 본 한국 차문화 관련 연구동향의 분석)

  • This study which is based on the Master's and Doctor's theses printed from the Korean liberation day to 2003. It has been carried out to research the trends of tea culture in Korea, by analyzing the current printing situations on the kinds of degrees, the chronicles of theses and tea culture. It has found out that the total number of the theses was 276, which of them were for a master's degree, up to $232(84\%)$. As for the printing time, it increased in the mids of 1990s and soared up sharply in 2003. For the fields, the theses on the efficacy of tea printed 178, which reached $64.4\%$, 148 of them were on the medical and pharmacological view and reached $83\%$. For the cultural view, the theses on reached only $6.9\%$. Recently, the theses on the marketing or the education of Da-do haven been increasing sharply.

  • The government of Uganda, which belongs to East Africa, approved the National Vison Statement, "A transformed Ugandan society from a Peasant to a Modern and Prosperous Country within 30 years". However, the Uganda is facing the problem of unbalanced development between urban and rural area in spite of the government's efforts. In particular, the urban-rural education gap is emerging as a problem that could negatively affect national development plans. In this paper, we explain the reasons why Uganda's urban-rural educational imbalance is accelerating. In addition, we would like to introduce a way to reduce the educational imbalance by using appropriate technology of ICT such as the electronic library system.

  • Web Based Instruction has its theoretical background in constructivism paradigm of education. According to social changes called information era and thanks to the sophisticated internet mechanism the constructivism in education has been dominant paradigm. In this paradigm information and knowledge are not merely given by a instructor facing the loaners. This system of instruction has n almost every field of discipline introduced. This article aims to examine how far WBI and constructivism are applicable for design education. Richard Branchia predicted that the learner oriented instruction method would become the dominant education system. He stressed an interactivity of the teacher and students. Upon this can the applicability of WBI for design education be affirmed. This article suggests several ways to solve the problems web based design education faces, including the lesson should inevitably combine the outline and of online study.

Credit Use & Financial Satisfaction (신용사용과 경제적 만족도)

  • 본 연구는 미국 Utah주의 Logan시에 있는 유타주립대하(USU)Credit Union의 멤버들을 대상으로, 신용사용과 신용에 대한 태도가 그들의 경제적 만족도와 어느정도 관련이 있는지를 조사하였다. 연구는 1989년 3월에서 5월까지 걸쳐 USU Credit Union의 지원으로 이루어졌으며, 자료는 21세에서 65세까지의 멤버들 중 500명을 임의 추출하여 설문지 조사를 실시하여(설문지는 본 연구를 위한 문항과 Credit Union 멤버 Survey문항이 함께 이루어졌다) 그중 274명(54.8%)으 답변이 자료분석에 사용되었다. 대부분의 사람들은 집이나 차, 또는 교육비, 의료비에 신용을 사용하는데 긍정적 태도를 보였으며, 반수 이상의 사람들이 신용을 사용함으로써 수수료 또는 이자를 지불하고 있었다. 월평균 신용 납부액은 $643이였으며, 반수 이상의 응답자가 그들의 신용차입액에 대해 걱정하고 있는 반면, 4.4%의 응답자만이 신용을 사용하지 않고 있다고 대답했다. t-테스트, 변량분석, 그리고 상관관계 분석에 의해 경제적 만족도와 의미있는 관계를 가지고 있는 요인들이 단계별 다중 희귀분석에 이용되었는데, 그 결과 사람들의 신용부담액에 대한 근심도가 그 어느것보다도 경제적 만족도와 강하게 연관되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 과거의 조사들이 가정의 빚, 즉 신용부담액과 수입에 대한 비율로써 가정의 경제적 만족정도(financial well-being)를 측정해온 것에 반한 사실로서, 경제적 만족도는 개인의 주관적 측정인 신용부담액에 대한 근심도와 큰 관련이 있음을 보여주었다.

Macrobenthos Assemblages on the Rocky Shores of Wando and Jodo islands in Dadohaehaesang National Park in Summer (다도해해상국립공원 완도·조도 암반조간대 하계에 출현한 대형저서무척추동물)

  • To determine the composition of benthic species on the southwest coast, a macrobenthos study was conducted at 18 sites on the islands of Wando and Jodo for seven summers (2014-2021) from June to September. Two hundred and twenty species(645 ind./m2) were collected on the rocky shores of Wando and Jodo. A similar number of species was observed in Wando (165 species) and Jodo (167 species). The mean density was higher in Wando (726 ind./m2) than in Jodo (564 ind./m2). The number of species was the highest at Site 15 (116 species), and the density was highest at Site 7 (1,664 ind/m2). The dominant species were Nodilittorina radiata with 175 ind./m2 (27.1%), Littorina brevicula with 97 ind./m2 (15.1%), and Heminerita japonica with 41 ind./m2 (6.3%). The climate change indicator species, Tetraclita japonca, appeared in 15 sites, and the endemic species, Ptilohyale bisaeta, appeared in some sites. Fusinus spectrum, which appears on the Red List as a Near Threatened (NT) species, the lowest level of extinction risk, appeared in Jodo. The macrobenthos of Wando and Jodo demonstrated the general characteristics of rocky shores in Korea. Based on the tides and substrate, the rocky shores revealed a vertical distribution trend where Nodilittorina radiata, Littorina brevicula, Chthamalus challengeri, and Reishia clavigera were dominant. Wando and Jodo exhibited similar habitat distribution patterns.

A Study on Ways to Foster Cultural Contents through Contentization of Tea Culture (차(茶)문화의 콘텐츠화를 통한 문화콘텐츠 육성 방안 연구)

  • This study was conducted to foster domestic tea (茶) culture as a single cultural content containing domestic culture, to increase domestic cultural competitiveness, and to suggest new cultural sanctions in the content era. Given the growth of the contents industry and the flow of domestic culture, cultural contents represented by the "Hallyu" of today do not exist at present, so it seems the time to move to keep pace with the times through the development of more Korean contents. Accordingly, this researcher has shed light on Korean tea (茶) culture, and reviewed the case of China, which is known as the origin of tea (茶) culture, and suggested a strategy for content creation of domestic tea (茶) culture. For this, the most prerequisite is to identify the identity and value of the domestic tea (茶) culture, and then expand education on tea (茶) culture and diversify the profit structure to serve as Korean cultural contents (茶) It suggested that the rediscovery of culture should be made.

Acceptance and Preference of Vegetables in Menus for Middle School Students (중학생의 채소류에 대한 기호도 및 메뉴 선호도 조사)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the basic data that could make out a menu reflected by students' preference to increase the intake of vegetable food through the cooking method of favorite vegetables. For the investigation, 585 middle school students in Seoul and Ansan area were surveyed. In the preference of food items, the meat food was more preferred to the vegetable food. Also, the reasons that students do not eat vegetable provided were 'bad taste' and 'unfavorite vegetable'. The preference analysis for vegetable showed that stem and leaf vegetables, root vegetables and fruits & vegetables were in the order of perilla leaver, celery and cabbage, sweet potato, potato, and dried radish cube and tomato, sweet pumpkin and cucumber, respectively. The preference was three kinds of vegetables that were more delicious than frequently eaten in home. The preference analysis for cooking method of vegetables showed that stem and leaf vegetables, root vegetables and fruits & vegetables were in the order of boiled rice, soup/stew, and salads, boiled rice, fried food and salads, salad, soups/stew and raw seasoned vegetables, respectively. Therefore, this study was conducted in order to increase the vegetable intake. According to the results of this study, it should be needed to develop menus integrating vegetables and its cooking methods that students preferred and disliked are needed.
