NCS based Leveled Micro-Degree Certification Model for Training Practical Cyber Security Experts

  • In this paper, we propose a Leveled Micro-Degree Job Competency Certification Model that considers the level of the job based on the job defined in the NCS. There is a mismatch of manpower due to the problem of university education that cannot keep up with the rapidly changing technological environment caused by the 4th Industrial Revolution. The Nano-Degree and Micro-Degree systems designed to solve this problem are used for job competency certification of cyber security personnel. NCS sub-categorized job field is defined as Micro-Degree and detailed job by ability unit is defined as Nano-Degree, the level of the ability unit defined by level is equally applied to the Micro-Degree. And it is a system that certifies the job competency corresponding to the degree-based university academic background. By applying this system to the curriculum of Cyber Security School, Yeungnam University College, we proposed a method to configure the Nano-Degree course based on NCS duties. The method proposed in this paper can be used as a method for verifying job competency of Nano-Degree and Micro-Degree, which are recently introduced by many universities.

Factors Influencing Self-regulated Strategies: On Autonomy Support and Beliefs of Intelligence Ability of Gifted and Non-gifted Students (영재와 평재의 자기조절 전략에 미치는 요인: 자율성 지지와 지적 능력에 대한 신념을 중심으로)

  • This Study was to examine whether high school students' autonomy support and beliefs of intelligence ability influence their self-regulated strategies. Of the 600 high school students surveyed from 3 high schools in two metropolitan cities, Korea, 478 completed and returned the questionnaires yielding a total response rate of 79.7%. Among the final sample consisted of 109 gifted students (22.8%), 190 high-achieving non-gifted students (39.7%), and low-achieving non-gifted students (37.4%). Measures of students' perceived autonomy support (i.e. from parents, teacher, peer), beliefs of intelligence ability (i.e. incremental, entity) and self-regulated strategies (i.e. managing environment and behavior, seeking and learning information, maladaptive regulatory behavior). Spearman's rho(${\rho}$) indicated that students' achieving level was positively associated with autonomy support (i.e. parents, teacher), beliefs of intelligence ability (i.e. incremental) and self-regulated strategies (i.e. managing environment and behavior, seeking and learning information). However, students' achieving level was negatively associated with beliefs of intelligence ability (i.e. entity) and self-regulated strategies (i.e. maladaptive regulatory behavior). Hierarchical multiple regression analyses showed that students' perceived autonomy support (i.e. from teacher) and beliefs of intelligence ability (i.e. incremental) were the crucial contributors for enhancing students' self-regulated strategies. Results are discussed in relation to theoretical implications and school settings.

  • 웹의 등장으로 인터넷이 보편화됨에 따라 웹을 기반으로 하는 가상 강의실이 많이 구축되고 시다. 웹을 기반으로 하는 가상 강의실은 학습자에게 많고 다양한 정보를 제공하는 장점이 있다. 하지만, 기존 가상 강의실 시스템에서 제공하는 학습내용이 대부분 교수의 임의의 한 수준으로 제공되고 있어 학습자 개개인의 학습수준이나 목적에 맞는 학습내용을 제공하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 수준별 학습내용을 제공할 수 있도록 학습 평가 에이전트를 갖는 웹 기반 가상 강의실을 제안하고 구현한다. 본 가상 강의실의 학습 평가 에이전트는 학습자에게 학습 방향과 목표에 따라 수준에 맞는 학습내용을 제공하기 위하여 학습 전에 학습자의 학습수준을 테스트한다. 이러한 테스트를 위하여 학습 평가 에이전트는 테스트 항목들에 대하여 문항반응이론을 적용한다. 문항반응이론은 문항특성의 불변성, 능력추정의 정확성, 능력추정의 불변성을 가지고 있어 학습자의 단순한 평가가 아니라 학습자의 지식수준이나 이해정도를 구체적으로 평가할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한 본 논문에서는 이러한 가상 강의실의 구축에 필요한 데이타베이스 설계와 시스템 환경에 대한 내용을 포함한다.

  • 수준 높은 소프트웨어의 품질과 개발, 유지보수 비용의 최소화, 제품 출하시간의 단축을 위하여 소프트웨어 프로세스에 대한 예측, 통제 가능성을 증가시키기 위함이다. 기업이 최고도의 높은 수준에 도달하기 의해서는 정량적인 모델에 의한 프로젝트 관리가 필요하다. 따라서 기업들은 SPICE/CMM와 같은 표준을 사용하여 조직의 프로세스 능력 수준을 평가하고 수준향상을 꾀한다. 조직의 프로세스의 능력을 평가하고 수준향상을 위해서는 신뢰성 있는 SPICE 심사의 심사결과에 대한 객관적인 신뢰성의 보장과 좀더 적은 비용으로 프로세스의 수준향상을 할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 SPICE 심사의 신뢰성을 얻기 위해 CMM/KPA 설문서를 통해 심사하고 SPICE심사의 결과를 비교 분석하여 SPICE심사의 신뢰성을 검증한다. 또한 이를 기반으로 CMM/KPA 설문서의 정량적인 모델을 제안함으로서 좀더 적은 비용과 시간으로 SPICE 심사의 결과와 같은 효과를 얻을 수 있게 한다.

  • 본 논문은 스마트 무인항공기를 개발하거나 획득시에 요구되는 전투실험 수행 중 지능화 정도에 대한 평가 및 실험방향을 제시를 위한 지능화 성숙도 모델을 제안한다. 먼저 표적탐색 소요검증 전투실험 절차를 제시하고, 지능화 정도를 4단계로 나누어 단계별 요구되는 지능수준을 제시한다. 분류된 지능수준별로 기술수준, 동작수준, 상호운용성 수준 영역의 4단계 각 수준별 요구 능력을 분석, 제시하여 지능화 정도를 측정할 수 있는 지능화 성숙도 모델을 설계한다. 마지막으로 표적탐색 소요판단을 위한 전투실험시 활용 가능한 중점분야를 지능화 성숙도 모델 영역별로 식별하고, 단계별 식별된 중점분야를 실험할 수 있는 전투실험 평가요소를 제시한다.

An Analysis of Students' Graphicacy in Korea Based on the National Assessment of Educational Achievement, from 2005 to 2007 (우리나라 학생들의 학교급별 도해력 발달수준 분석 - 2005${\sim}$2007년 국가수준 학업성취도 평가를 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to rethink the meaning of graphicacy, discuss the possible criteria to evaluate the level of graphicacy, and show how the graphicacy differs through different grades. First, it finds that as school grades advance, implicit information processing abilities, and conceptual information processing abilities were more required comparing to explicit information processing abilities, when interpreting graphic data. Secondly, the percentage of items which examinee showed a proficient level, decreased as school grades advanced. Thirdly, the graphicacy level of sixth graders was the status of being able to derive explicit information from pictorial maps and read implicit information in simple contour map or line graphs. Ninth graders were able to infer causal relationship between geographic phenomenons by utilizing graphic materials. Tenth graders could read graphic materials by utilizing simple knowledge and experience.

The Effect of Dietary Protein and Fat Levels on the Growth and Immune Response in Rats (단백질과 지방의 수준을 달리한 식이로 사육한 흰쥐의 성장과 면역반응에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of different protein and fat levels on the growth and on immune response in rats. In experiment 1, Sprague-Dawly male rats were fed diets containing 6%, 15%, or 30% casein with 2 levels of fat(2% and 30%) at each protein level. In experiment 2 and 3, rats were devided into 8 diet groups ; 4 different sources of proteins(casein, meat protein, fish protein, and gluten) were used at 15% level of the diet with 2% or 30% of dietary fat. The results show as follows 1) The rats in 6% casein group showed lower body weight gain and organ weight than those in 15% and 30% casein groups. There was no significant difference between 15% and 30% casein groups. In experiment 2, the gluten diet group showed the lowest growth rate and epididymal fat pad weight among 4 different dietary protein groups regardless the level of dietary fat. 2) There was no significant difference in immune response according to the sources and levels of dietary protein. However, the rats fed high fat diet showed the lower plaque-forming cell response than those fed low fat diet regardless dietary protein.

Effect of Physical Fitness Improvement Program on Work Intensity of Adults With Down Syndrome (신체능력향상프로그램이 다운증후군 성인의 작업강도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of physical fitness improvement program on work intensity of persons with Down syndrome. For this, 8 adults with Down syndrome participated in program and were evaluated. The physical fitness improvement program consisted of grasp, lifting, carrying exercise for 12 weeks, 1 day a week for 2 hours per session. Compared with pre-program conditions, participants in program improved significantly in right grasp power, lifting ability but there was not significant improvement in carrying ability. In view of work intensity, work intensity level of two subjects was changed from average to hard in lifting. One subject was changed from very light to average and two subjects was changed from light to average in carrying. This results suggested that physical fitness improvement program was helpful for promotion the intensity of adults with Down syndrome.

Ability, Heterogeneity, and Parental Choices on Human Capital (이질적 학습능력과 인적자본에 대한 부모의 교육투자 선택)

  • This paper shows that when children's ability is heterogeneous, a parent's choices about educational expenditures and fertility follow a pooling equilibrium or a separating equilibrium. Which of the two equilibria will prevail depends on the probability of getting a high-ability child as well as productivity differentials in producing children's adult human capital. Adopting the model of Acemoglu's (1999), this paper presents that the outcome of the pooling choice in the pooling regime and the outcome of the separating choice in the separating regime make the growth rate of human capital higher than otherwise. In addition, as the probability of a high-ability child increases, the growth rate of human capital in the separating equilibrium exceeds that in the pooling equilibrium.
