아오테아로아. 길고흰구름의나라, 길게펼쳐진초원에사람보다양떼가더많은나라, 여기에만년설과아름다운해변, 평화롭고목가적인자연이살아숨쉬는나라. 그리고< 반지의제왕>을탄생시킨곳. 바로뉴질랜드다. 뉴질랜드는오스트레일리아의동남쪽태즈먼해에위치해있다. 남섬과북섬으로이루어진이나라의면적은27만534㎢로우 리나라전체보다넓지만전체인구는400만명정도에불과하다. 기존에알려진뉴질랜드의이미지들은한없이평화롭고따듯한휴양지모습들뿐이지만현재뉴질랜드는디지 털콘텐츠산업의중심국가로서의면모를갖춰가고있다. 뉴질랜드디지털산업의힘은무엇인지살펴본다.

우리나라의 해외 여행 관광객의 추세에 관한 일반적인 동향을 살피고자 한 연구조사문이다. 특히 일반적인 해외 관광객들의 관광동향을 살피고 그 중에서도 가장 최근에 부각되고 있는 뉴질랜드, 오스트레일리아 관광과 캐나다의 해외관광들이 새로운 경향이기 때문에 일반적인 해외관광 동기와 필요성을 개관하고 그 많은 해외 관광중에서도 뉴질랜드 경우 오스트레일리아 관광이 급격하게 증가하고 있으므로 이 경유지인 뉴질랜드 해외 관광에 대한 동향을 분석하려고 한다. 이와 같은 연구는 김영성 교수의 뉴질랜드의 한국관광객 특성이란 연구논문이 있다. 그밖에도 많은 관광객 특성에 관한 연구가 있으나 김 교수의 논문이야말로 그 특성을 잘 파악 도출하였다고 보았으며 따라서 본 연구에도 많은 도움이 되었음을 부기해 둔다.(중략)

This study was conducted to investigate the proximate composition, meat color, Warner-Bratzler shear force (WBS), cooking loss (CL), fatty acids composition, amino acid composition and mineral contents of Hanwoo beef (QG $1^+$, 1) and imported New Zealand black Angus beef with loin, strip loin, eye of round and chuck tender. The intramuscular fat contents were higher in the strip loin, loin and chuck tender of Hanwoo beef than New Zealand beef (p<0.05). Hanwoo QG 1 beef had higher Fe contents in the strip loin (30.52 mg/100g) and chuck tender (40.70 mg/100g) (p<0.05). Hanwoo beef had lower cooking loss and than those of New Zealand beef, whereas New Zealand beef had higher protein and amino acids contents (%) than their counterpart. There was no significant difference in the WBS between two origin samples except the chuck Hanwoo beef had significantly lower saturated fatty acids (SFA) and higher monounsaturated fatty acids contents than New Zealand beef (p<0.05). WBS values indicated that Hanwoo and New Zealand beef had similar tenderness in the loin, striploin and eye of round due to the longer aging periods of the New Zealand beef than Hanwoo beef during the distribution.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the chemistry curriculum between Korea and New Zealand. Both countries state that they want to cultivate their key competencies through the curriculum, and Korea' key competencies are similar to New Zealand'. Also, we find a strong correlation between key competencies of Korea science and achievement aims of the nature of science in New Zealand. Specially, the achievement standards that cultivate the key competencies are presented separately in New Zealand curriculum and NCEA, and confirms the achievement level through internal evaluation. By comparison, the curriculum content for chemistry is a good fit because of the overlap in the content. The Chemistry I is in the 7th level of New Zealand curriculum and the Chemistry II is in the 7th and 8th levels of New Zealand. However, there are some differences in hydrocarbon, ideal gas equation, colligative property and understanding of spectroscopic data.

한국 · 호주 · 뉴질랜드 3국의 IT분야 정부 및 기업 대표들이 한자리에 모였다. 정보통신부는 지난달 9월10일 서울 신라호텔에서‘한국 · 호주 · 뉴질랜드 브로드밴드 서밋 2005’행사를 개최했다. 총 5개의 세션으로 진행된 이번 행사에서는 3국 정부 대표가 자국의 주요 IT정책을 발표하고 DMB∙홈네트워크 · 브로드밴드 네트워크 등 에 대한 협력방안을 논의했다.

본 내용은 필자가 지난 4월 23일부터 5월 2일까지 호주와 뉴질랜드의 Postharvest technology관련 연구기관과 대학, 업체등을 방문하고 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 적은 것으로 여기서는 뉴질랜드 원예식품연구소, 호주의 New South Wales주의 Gosford원예 연구및 기술자문센터 그리고 NSW 대학의 식품공학부에 있는 수학후 관리팀에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

뉴질랜드는 11월 1일자로 목재포장재에 대한 검역요건을 국제기준 ISPM No. 15 개정 채택에 맞게 개정했다. 특별요건으로 규제 병해충, 토양 등 부착물, 수피 등이 없어야 하며 요건에 따라 소독처리되고 증명되어야한다. 본 고에서는 개정된 뉴질랜드 목재포장재 검역 요건에 대해 살펴본다.

This study aims to find ways to improve the statistics education policy in Korea for the future based on the results from examining the high school statistics curricula in Korea and New Zealand. The statistics curriculum in New Zealand was analyzed comparatively with the corresponding contents of the probability and statistics domain in the Korea 2015 revised national mathematics curriculum. The analysis centered around achievement goals and key ideas of each of the two curricula. This comparative analysis provides implications on finding a direction in line with the global trend in the curriculum for statistics education and ultimately for Korea's statistics education for the future.
