This study explored how Korean immigrants education, length of stay and English fluency affect their political socialization, mediated through traditional news media and the news Web use. Political socialization included political knowledge, interest, and participation. The media usage patterns included U.S. news media, U.S. news Web, Korean news Web, and Korean news Media use by Korean immigrants in the United State. This study found as follows. First, education, length of stay, and English fluency indirectly increased political socialization(political knowledge, interest, and participation) through their relationship with U.S. news media use. Second, U.S. news Web played a potentially important role in Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Third, Korean news media partly contributed to Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Fourth, Korean news Web use did not contribute to Korean immigrants' political socialization in terms of political knowledge, interest, and participation at all. In conclusion, this study found that traditional news media's role was more important than news Web's one in the process of immigrants' political socialization to the host society.

뉴스 비디오에서 앵커가 등장하는 첫 번째 프레임은 하나의 뉴스를 샷으로 설정하는데 기준이 되는 키 프레임이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스 비디오의 장면 전환을 검출을 위하여 컬러 히스토그램과 $\chi$$^2$ 히스토그램을 합성한 방법을 이용하여 키 프레임을 추출하며, 추출된 키 프레임을 대상으로 앵커 프레임의 공간적 구성과 얼굴의 특징 정보에 대한 사전 지식을 바탕으로 한 유사성 측정을 통하여 앵커를 인식하도록 한다. 앵커로 인식된 프레임은 하나의 뉴스 신에 대한 키 프레임이 되며 뉴스 비디오를 색인화 하는데 중요한 역할을 수행한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how portal users recognize the role and function of the portal as a press. Furthermore, this study aims to analyze the pattern of portal news use among portal users and their recognition about replies to news. For this, we conducted online survey of 1,036 people aged from 15 to 45, who used portal site at least once a week. As a result, most users(70.8%) agreed that portal news played a role as a press with other media. In addition, six out of ten agreed that portal news set the agenda of society. These results suggest that portal users think highly of the social impact and responsibility of portal in society. However, about 40 percent of respondents said that they did not trust in information shown in replies to news and many replies to news were written by albeit. Six out of ten thought that replies to news were written by intention. Therefore, to manage the quality of replies to news is necessary to secure the credibility of portal news. As respondents use portal news often, they tend to think that portals are convenient to use and their social impact is very large, at the same time considering their sensation and commercialization. On the other hand, as portal users use the internet often, they tend to think that portals are convenient to use and their social impact is immense. However, there was no significant relationship between income and portal users' recognition of portals as the press.

The main purpose of this study is to search for variables that influence the perception of news of YouTube current affairs and political channel users. Existing studies have focused on providing normative criticism by examining the public opinion influence of YouTube channels, which play a role similar to the media, in terms of political polarization, fake news, and confirmation bias. However, this study attempts to examine the changes and meanings of users' perception of news with the advent of YouTube. To this end, an online survey was conducted for users with experience in using YouTube's current affairs and political channels. As a result of the study, it was found that the news perception of YouTube current affairs and political channel users was mixed with the perception of news from the perspective of professional journalism and the perception of newly added news in the digital environment. Based on these results, the researcher examined the implications of the professional news media's response direction to the platform environment.

What is the basic nature of Korean public broadcasting system? This research explores this question through an analysis of KBS news coverage of the Korean housing market. This study spotlights the internal news production processes. In detail, this study investigates newsroom routines, such as news selection, news gatherings, and news production. As a result, this study reveals KBS can be classified as "Publicity Model" following reasons. First, KBS news selection process stresses higher viewer ratings for competitive market share and belittles public interests of serving the citizen. This caused KBS news to provide fragmented and truncated news information and to constrict high quality news of significant information for citizen. Second, KBS newsroom operates under the minimum staff resource to produce news programmes and has developed official source dependency as a routine for news gathering. Third, under the limits of report format, KBS news worked as a neutral deliverer of government message and failed to provide more detailed information and diverse viewpoints.

기업에서 정보보호의 역할이 중요해 지면서 이를 책임지는 CSO제도가 점차 도입되어가고 있다. 특히, 최근 국내 정부기관에서의 정보보호를 위한 종합대책을 발표하면서 중앙행정기관 및 지자체와 일정 규모 이상의 기업들에게 CSO 제도 도입을 의무화 하고 있다. 이런 상황에서 CSO의 역할과 변화추세, 그리과 해결해야 할 과제를 살펴보는 것은 매우 시의 적절하다고 하겠다.
